Clifford D- There was only one person working and it took 30+ minutes to get a truck - Not being able to park there is very inconvenient, and a heads up over the phone when I called would’ve been appreciated. - The truck is old and hard to drive. It was clean however. - upon return the parking lot was so full I had to squeeze in right in at the entrance. - the mandate for insurance on a pick up truck and 2 contacts could’ve also been previously communicated.

Bernell HI reserved a truck for 8am on March 31st at the location on Ft Meade Road in Laurel. Apparently my location was changed to the one on Rt One. When I got there at 8 they were not ready and said they might be ready sometime after 9am. I was angry because I had people that was ready to help me move. I came back a few minutes after 9 and there was a line. The truck itself was fine but what was the since in reserving a specific time and a specific place if they were going to be changed.
JOY RMake sure there is oil in the vehicle so that the warning ⚠️ message service oil soon doesn’t come on while the vehicle is in use
mark pI was told there is no customer parking at this location. That's not good at all. I had to park across a busy highway and walk across the road. This is definately not safe or customer friendly. Also, I was told that I had to have two emergency contacts that would "answer the phone". Little did I know that they had to call right there on the spot. I was not able to give my loved ones a heads up and this scared them. I will not be returning to this location and I've been going there for many years.

HYUN pRental experience on 29-March was good. No major issues. Truck was clean and operated well. Not a big fan of the 2-person authentication for a pickup or cargo van.
James SI forgot my BEATS EAR BUDS in the vehicle when I returned it and the associate who took the keys from me should have found it and have it returned back to me but so far nothing. I went back to the office to report, still no way to be found.
DONALD JGot charged an extra $30 for using six gallons of gas though my journey was less than five miles total. Either the truck wasn’t maintained properly or staff tried to pull a fast one on me.
Robert KFind additional space for parking gas is high and when you have to drive back and forth and put gas in the vehicle you’re renting it adds up.
COSTELLA CI made a reservation online, provided the required driver license info, purchased the insurance, and provided the requested emergency contact. When I arrived to pick up the rental van I was informed that this store REQUIRES first time renters to buy the insurance, pay upfront for a minimum of thirty miles, provide TWO emergency contacts who they immediately called. It was 8:30 AM. I pointed out that none of this was mentioned online, the employee was unsympathetic and told me that's what they require. I won't rent from that location again.

James IThe truck died 2 times and when we picked it up the check engine light was on and we had to put gas in it 4 times and it kept eating the gas up... worst U-Haul ever we will not be returning to that one

Scott FThis was the second time that the horrible incident happened, I returned the vehicle with more gas than when I picked it up, and I confirmed with the same guy that checked me out which he told me YES I can go that it was more over the quarter tank, however they still charged me for 2 gal of gas. This is stealing.

Tonia MThe U-Haul agent at this location by the name of Isaiah, was very helpful and courteous, as well as exhibited a high level of professionalism. The vehicle provided had some much needed maintenance to be carried out such as oil change required, and the tire pressure sensor not functioning.

Janelle WI have rented equipment from the Laurel location a number of times over the years and been very satisfied with the service. The employees are always courteous and helpful. I did have two issues this time that were quickly resolved. 1. The lights did not work on the first trailer that I was assigned so I was rented an alternate trailer. This was not a huge issue, since there was alternate equipment available, but add an extra 10 minutes or so to my visit. 2. I returned the trailer at about 4:30 pm but apparently the attendant did not check in the equipment. I was called the following morning to find out when I'd be returning the trailer; I informed the person on the line that I had already returned it. They checked the lot and confirmed the trailer was there, so they apologized for any inconvenience and ended the call. Again, not a huge issue, and next time I will confirm that check in is completed before leaving the location.

Sholey MI picked up a tow dolly for rental it took less than 15 minutes from the time I walked in until I was pulling away with it and check in couldn't have been any easier the lady had me out of there in less than 5 minutes
