Finding my vehicle during pickup was not easy. Drop off (during business hours) was not ideal either. I waited 15 minutes before finally giving up and doing the self checkout. The employee who finally came assisted the person behind me instead of me, too.

The truck shook and vibrated from the moment we drove off. It was very annoying. We didn’t go back to complain or ask if they had another one because we were on a time limit of getting to our destination and loading up by a specific deadline. Every word you spoke was vibrated speech due to the severe vibration of the truck. It needs to be serviced badly.

The u haul site had a large inventory and exactly what I needed that day. The rental price for 6 hrs was lower than I had expected. The trailer was clean and fully functional. The attendant prepped the paper work, hooked up the trailer, and made sure the lights worked. In and out in 15 minutes. I would absolutely use again.

Onyx helped with a last minute truck rental . Truck had a couple issues but nothing that hindered the day . Would definitely reccomend the middlesex steeet location as the staff goes above and beyond . Always only one or two people working and they make it work

Clearly the van I rented wasn’t checked before being rented.. I had called the company several times to gather an item I forgot and by time the got back to me the van was rented and my item some how disappeared.. smh

The inside of the windshield was filthy. We took the van home and cleaned the inside and the outside of the windshield in order to be able to see out of it. Clearly someone missed this at inspection, but i don’t know how they could have. It was that obvious….

The girl inside was just sitting and not been nice on checking my order she just ask if I had the truck key and then she said this doesn't stay here and I told her yes it is, I also told her that the guy who is checking the truck and taking apart the trailer has the key for the truck and she said oh ok you are good to go. The guy in the other hand was mad and slam the trailer since he was the one taking it apart and he had to check and deal with the truck. I did return the truck on the same day on the 3rd not the 4th so make sure they fix that error. Thanks I don't need to be over charge for something that is not true.

the truck was NOT ready on time. the associate said i was on a do not book list because i owed a balance from 48 hours prior. not sure how as a hold had been put on 2 cards one for the reservation and the second i gave upon picking up. She was "busy" on the phone making calls for late uhaul rentals rather than assisting on our rental. When asked why no one called us to 1) say we had a balance or 2) say there was an issue with this new reservation, "we don't do that". well you do owe me a refund of $50 for not having the truck ready on time. it took an hour to get it situated between her being "busy"

This was not my original reserved pickup location. The app amd website let me create a reservation 8 weeks out that UHaul could not deliver, then the day before i gwt notice i need to change pickups. This was a huge problem and why i wont be using UHaul again.

Properly maintain equipment. Trailer wiring had a problem. It short circuit the electrical system in my car and blew my fuses. When I noticed I had no turn signals, I checked the fuse and it was blown. I changed the blown fuse and It immediately went from working to smelling like something was burning. Fuse blew again. I finally disconnected the trailer from my hitch harness and changed the fuse once again. My turn signals are working now but my driver seat won’t move back and forth and my vehicle smells like burnt wires/plastic. I had rented a trailer from a different uhaul location two days prior and everything was fully functional with no problems. I believe the trailer from this location had a problem with its wiring which caused my vehicle’s electrical system to short circuit.

The cabin smell like a smoke of cigarettes. It was unbearable. The fuel recorded on the contract was incorrect. The truck had over 131k miles, and it consumed 7 gallons of fuel for merely 47 miles.

problem with brakes and hitch, one wanted to help. after waiting 20 minutes with the lowell office, then told me to call emergency service. i did drop in to the nashua office (amhrest st) the diagnosed the problem when I tried get another trailer, I was told to get to the back of the line, which was 8 deep... I was left with driving and semi funtioning trailer..

My ONLY issue was that whoever had used the motorcycle trailer before me apparently had vehicle on the trailer with an oil leak of some sort. Given it was raining the day I used it, it was raining and I didn't notice until I slipped loading my Harley. I managed to get my balance so no damage done (with the exception of that to my heart :P ) Lesson learned to always check before loading. Other than that no issues. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The truck had high mileage, was dirty: seatbelts were oily and stinky, seats were oily and sweaty and the truck had a smoke smell in the cabin. It made you not want to be in the truck
