I reserved the U-Haul online for $19.95 plus $14 for Insurance Plus mileage which was only 26 something dollars one way to Lowell Mass from Salem. why did it cost me over $100, somebody screwed up somewhere and I want the rate I was quoted in the email 38 something plus mileage. I asked a girl when I was signing the contract why it was so much and she said plus mileage Salem to Lowell is only 33 miles at $0.79 a mile is $26. it's but I only had the truck for like 3 hours for tops

Terrible reservation and pick up process. Twice, customer service booked me for a 12:15 AM pickup, once at a location that did not have the trailer (out of service). Customer service called the night before pickup and changed the pickup time and location, messing up plans to use the trailer and then sent a confirmation for another 12:15 AM pickup that I had to call and straighten out once again. Terrible service! I would not recommend U-Haul and never plan to use U-Haul again. Lowell is well run but your customer service (via phone) is terrible. Also the trailer in questionable shape and the lift gate is nearly two feet less than the 6 ft width causing a huge problem for me, solved by using a front end loader to lift over the side. This should be made clear in your description of the trailer.

While the van I rented was clean and ready once I was finally processed, the wait line was slow and had to wait about 30 minutes before I could pick up the van. Once I returned the van, I was charged a fuel charge I should never have been charged. I returned the van with the same amount of fuel as when I picked up the van. I contacted Customer Service and spoke to Rochelle. Rochelle was very polite and professional, and is working to correct U-Haul's error on the inappropriate fuel charge

Being charged the gas fee after even putting in more gas than the original point was in is uncalled for. Then submitting that information and not even receiving acknowledgement?! I will be disputing the overage charges to upper management

Second time ive reserved a vehicle here and second time they didnt have the vehicle i reserved when i arrived. I had to move my reservation from 9am to 12pm and come back.

The gentleman who checked us in was so rude. Just an overal rude person. No smile, no interaction and just very short and seemed annoyed. He was speaking with a customer before us, very happy might I add, telling her he had to terminate his whole staff today. Why would you tell her that? I am a manager and I would never have that discussion with anyone besides HR, especially for customer to over hear. I would never return.

The manager seem's to hate his job. He was super unwelcoming and unfriendly not only to me but other customers as well. This one customer came in with a query regarding dropping off his uhaul while I was there. He kept profusely apologizing to the manager for bothering. This is because the manager made them feel unwelcomed and was super rude. Kept rolling his eyes. Also I was charged for a utility dolly but never received one. I called the customer care and they turned me away by saying that i will not be charged when the uhaul gets processed after drop off. Guess what, I did get charged. I had to move my stuff without a dolly risking a recent disc herniation from which I am recovering.

Impossible to reach anyone at the location by phone. Was charged an additional day because I left the keys in the box as instructed. Vehicle required jump starting both times I turned it off, leading me to keep it idling all day.

I was overcharged and will need to call them to correct. I rented from 2PM Sat to 2PM Sunday. Returned at 1PM Sunday and was charged two days. Didn't notice till I received email invoice i.e. I dropped off truck to attendant in parking lot.
