The overall experience was great, service for drop off was top notch!
KYLE RStaff were very friendly and called us after we returned the truck to let us know we left a garage door opener in it.
KRISTEN NI stood in the office and waited for about 10 minutes until someone showed up to help me. He was OK but lacked any sort of personality. The truck itself was spray painted with "Fuck ICE" (which I totally agree with BTW) and contained a donut in the cab which I can only assume was from the previous customer.
TIMOTHY HI left my car battery and my boots in back truck when I called up to this location I spoke to them in the win and checked and it was a 5-minute call and you can even review the call they confirmed it was there when I went up there to pick up the actual items that I left there I was reminded by the so-called manager that it was my responsibility and it was my fault that I left it there and that they don't remember me calling and that it couldn't have been them answering that the stuff was not there so it ended up missing and the manager was extremely rude and I'm sure the call was recorded
Karen RThe persons that checked me in and out were fantastic! Cheerful and professional. Only suggestion is, don't let a truck go out with a quarter of a tank of gas-it puts stress on the renter to refill right away, when I should be concentrated on my move.

LUIS RI was trying to use your online website, thought I was reserving an 8' pickup in Burnsville, but as soon as I hit submit, it reserved one in minneapolis 15 miles further away. When I was paying $0.99 per mile, this added $30 to my bill. I didn't realize this until the night before I was to pick up the truck. I had lined up a couple of people to meet me once I had the pickup and it was too late to reconfigure my plans. I ended up eating the extra miles. I did give Uhaul an above average score as the pick up of the truck was simple and quick, and the return was even easier.

ISAAC TThe woman answering phones is completely unprofessional. The staff was talking to each other more than she was trying to help me. She yells to other people on the phone with a customer. For my call, she just randomly yelled WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, and a customer could easily think that was being yelled at them, as it did sound directed at me as it was right into the phone. You could hear them all talking in the background, whispering to her, she was not focused whatsoever. The manager was better...if that's who I spoke with, the issue was resolved. I gave him a heads up in his staff's behavior, UT who knows if he cares enough to do anything about it. The entire experience was horrible with Uhaul, from you trying to charge 450 for winching service, to your app not working AT ALL, and being disconnected 3 times from the chat service, to the horrible staff at the brick and mortar on Nicollet. I'll find another company to get the rest of my boxes from my old apartment.

ASADULLAH ATires on the van I rented were not sufficient to leave the parking lot. Got stuck in snow. Still got charged for the rental (I do not blame the employees for this, they did everything they could & were incredibly accommodating and helpful otherwise).

FLOYD TStaff was nice and accommodating, the truck was clean but the TPS system had an issue. The whole time the horseshoe was lit up and a warning stared service the system. Just odd they'd rent a truck in that shape.

THOMAS BExtremely Unsafe Setup - Could Have Been Catastrophe I had a 21+ hour drive that was completely overshadowed by an incredibly unsafe setup from the U-Haul location I rented from. When I picked up the trailer, the attendant did not properly secure the hitch. The safety chains were left too long, dragging on the pavement for most of the drive, and I eventually had to pull over and secure them myself with a bungee cord because they had worn down from the road. The hitch itself was wobbly and loud, but since this was my first time towing, I didn’t have much to compare it to and assumed that was normal. When I arrived at my destination, the U-Haul attendant there was in absolute disbelief - he said my ball was barely screwed in and the only thing keeping the trailer attached was a small paper-clip–sized pin. He told me it was a miracle that we even made it a mile, let alone over 21 hours on the highway. I’m extremely grateful nothing catastrophic happened, but this was a major safety failure that could have easily caused a serious accident. I hope U-Haul takes this seriously and ensures better training and inspection standards for employees handling trailer hookups.

SULEIMAN dMake sure the fluid levels are being maintained, my van had no windshield wiper. And never place EXTRA GASOLINE IN THEIR TANKS, BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT REIMBURSE YOU FOR IT.
CECIL PCab was dirty -sticky, not wiped inside. Exterior had large graffiti on both sides - embarrassing to be using! There were scrapes and dings on sides. I took a video to cover my butt. The fan selector for the ac is broken so it only blows on the windshield. There is a rattle behind the driver’s seat that is nerve wracking and worrisome. Surprised that this truck would go out like that. Come on U-Haul. Cheap doesn’t have to be gross.

ANTHONY SPickup was quick-- 10 minutes. GMC based truck (10 footer) ran well, easy to drive. Got about 15 miles per gallon driving the 70 MPH interstate through Wisconsin.
LAWRENCE LI did have an engine light on when I picked up my truck. I had to come back the next day to have it reset.

Jason TMy rental was supposed to be ready at 5 AM for me to pick up.. instead of parking my truck in a spot that couldn’t be blocked in, the staff pulled forward and a van pulled in behind it and blocked it in. I was unable to get my truck until 7 AM which caused me to have to reschedule? Movers costing me an extra hundred dollars for moving fees the staff there was not at all helpful or friendly. I was completely dissatisfied with the service there.
Patty RI had to drive an hour out of my way to go to this location instead of the one I chose to reserve the trailer at. U-haul does a poor job letting customers know that the location could dramatically change. U-haul should move trailers to where they are needed versus making your customers adjust or they are SOL because you don’t tell them until it’s too late for the customer to make alternative plans. When I called to try to get a closer pickup as I had scheduled, the National u haul sent me to a local person who only answered with “hello”. I didn’t even know she was from u-haul I had to double check. She was rude, argumentative, and no help whatsoever.
THOMAS GParking lot is inconvenient to back out of, get into, and park. It is small, but conveniently located in the neighborhood. The truck I rented had an engine light on. The staff told me the sensors in the truck weren't working well. That made me a little nervous. The staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out was very easy.

James CTruck made grinding noise when driven. Also when trying to put gas in fuel spit out of gas tank and pump clicked off. After 20 min of trying at several pumps I gave up. I called 15 min before pickup to make sure location had appliance dolly and was told yes they did. I arrived and they did not have requires dolly. Location is filthy, guys sleeping in the back of trucks and staff appearance was very poor. Women that helped at pickup was very friendly and helpful.

Paul HI filled up the gas to match what I picked it up as. You guys are saying it was lightly below and are charging me $12 for what is likely $1 worth of gas. This was enough to push me to never use Uhaul again. The location is terrible and not safe, get lost losers.
THOMAS FEnsure all materials requested are there and accounted for. I was able to order a dolly online when booking, but when i showed up to the location the had none.
ALAYNA SStaff could be more attentive. Felt like I was interrupting their conversation on pick up. On drop off other employee who was eating had to stop to help me.
PAUL HThere was a problem with the van brake lights staying on and the employee didn't believe me that wasn't normal. Even after I told them I'm a mechanic and that was not correct. I insisted on switching vehicles and they did that with no problem. Hopefully the other van got pulled to be fixed.
