They charged me over $200.00 for a $19.95 truck and had it for 3 hours. I am so pist off I need that money. I am not a wealthy person. I am barely getting by. I need help with this.

JAMES MI tried to call this store during advertised open hours and got no answer. Check in was smooth and the guy was nice. When I returned the vehicle, that guy was rude. The truck was beat to hell but I was sure tried to sell an insurance policy in case it was damaged. The inside of the truck was nasty dirty. I was also told there would be a $25 charge if I returned it after hours. I was told there would be a $20 charge if I did not fold the blankets. I ordered a furniture dolly but it was not provided to me. Overall, not a good experience. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.
SHERRI WVery unprofessional. I received a quote online for 110 to rent the 8 inch pick up truck for 3 days. When I arrive at the location, the gentleman at the register informed me that I would have to pay $260. I asked him to remove the insurance which cost $45 & then he informed me that I had to pay $210. I give him my credit card to process the transaction and leave. 3 days later I bring the truck back on a full tank of gas & these ppl tell me that I have to pay another $231!!! I asked why & was told that my payment didn’t process which is weird because you wouldn’t have let me leave if I didn’t pay first. Next, I’m told by the same guy that I have to pay another $20 and some change smh. I will never ever get a U-Haul again.

Willie BAllowed for drop of auto hauler after it was no longer needed. Made the rest of my drive to Santa Fe, NM much better without having to tow an empty trailer. Helpful staff also!

LENNIE MNot sure why I was given a receipt when I rented the truck, but it had my total charges at $132 which included things that were not actually charges but rather would be charged if I did not return the truck in the condition and manner agreed to My total charge was less than $70.
LIONEL DContinues to hire professional staff have staff assist with handicap customers in need of dollies or carts/dolls to remove personal item from their storage.

ROSIE HWe get there and we cannot find anyone there so we were walking around looking for someone. Once we found someone he came out and said “what’re y’all doing all that talking for god d**m.” Then my dad said I’m actually the police we were just making sure everything was ok before we return this uhaul.Then the dude working there said “I don’t give f**k what you are” then proceeded to cuss my fiancé and my dad out and call my dad a pig. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and makes me not want to use uhaul again. The first location was great but this one was absolutely awful and I will never be returning again. This dude deserves to have consequences and I truly hope yall will pull up the cameras and see that. Customer service reps should be kind to customers, and he was the exact opposite.
WILLIAM PSmooth drop off of our one-way rental. Location is really convenient with a gas station next door if you need to fill up before drop-off.

MALEKE IShane, Adam, and Kevin are great. They take pride in doing a good job with the equipment and customers. Two occasions this past week with needing a rental and both times were awesome!

Brett LEverything went well and the customer service has always been good whenever I visit the location on Cypress in NLR.
CHERYL TShane was great, he made sure the lights worked. I needed a new fuse and one side of the trailer needed a bulb. He quickly changed the light while I got a fuse. Kevin helped me at the desk and was friendly and greeted me when I came in. Thanks guys, I will be back when the need arises.

I know the area, so I understood the problem. Not UHaul's problem, nor the Rep's. Overall great experience from UHaul.

AMANDA STruck had a check engine light on, and ABS light that was constantly cycling on and off. The store knew about it and failed to address the faults. Truck also reeked of cigarette smoke.

GEORGE MTwo guys were great. They charged me a cleaning fee for the sand and debris in cab which was in it when we picked it up. Felt bad for them. Facility was clean. They helped us right away and cleaned out the cab as we were leaving. No wasted time. Good work ethic. Would use U-haul again for sure.
Frank MSubject: Poor Customer Service Experience at U-Haul Location on Cypress Road, NLR, AR– June 4, 2025 at 11:45 AM Dear U-Haul, I’d like to share a frustrating experience I had at one of your locations today around 11:45 AM. As I walked in the door, a man behind the counter said, “May I help you?” before I even reached the counter. I told him I needed to rent a truck for a few hours, and without asking any follow-up questions—such as what size truck I needed, when I needed it, or for how long—he immediately told me, “We don’t have any, they’re all reserved.” A moment later, he asked, “Did you need it for today?” I said yes and he double downed and said he had no trucks. I stepped outside, went on your website, and was able to reserve a truck for pickup just 15 minutes later, while in your parking lot. After completing the online reservation and confirming the pickup instructions through the app, I went back inside to get the keys. At this point, there were no other customers in the store. The same man was at the desk, and a young woman was hanging decorations. As I approached the counter, he said, “You’re gonna have to wait a minute,” without even asking what I needed. The young woman came down from the step ladder and politely asked how she could help. I told her I was picking up keys, and she handed them to me promptly. After unlocking the truck, I noticed the dolly I had requested wasn’t inside. I went back in, and once again, the man told me, “You’re gonna have to wait a minute,” without asking what I needed or why I had returned. The young woman, once again, got down from the ladder and quickly retrieved the dolly for me and even carried it outside. I don’t know who this man is, but he is not someone who should be the first point of contact for your customers. His dismissive attitude and lack of helpfulness nearly caused me to take my business elsewhere. He made an already stressful moving day more difficult than it needed to be. Thankfully, the young woman on staff was professional and helpful—she is the only reason I didn’t leave and go to another location. She was at my truck as soon as I pulled in, ready to check me in when I got back She was polite and she was awesome. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. LAUREN HShane was working by himself and doing his best. I was impressed at his multitasking abilities. He had 3 lines of customers and was moving each customer through as quickly as possible.
