Worst experience I have ever had in customer service. First they wired my hitch with the wires literally sitting on the exhaust, which then melted and shorted out everything including all my new trailer lights. Then proceeded to tell me they could only refund me for the cost of the $50 harness when I have hundreds of dollars of damage to my vehicle and trailer wiring. They take no pride in anything they do and no responsibility for it. DO NOT EVER USE UHAUL, especially this terrible location.

Remove the man named Christopher. I am a local business owner and rent frequently each year for many years. A year ago Christopher very curtly instructed me to park my car at the big Y down the road then walk back and rent, this was due to all "customer" parking spots being full of employee and service vehicles. I insted opted to begin getting my trucks from Holyoke Uhaul where they are competent, courteous and knowledgeable. This morning the elements prohibited me driving to Holyoke so I again attempted Northampton and was again disrespected and sent on my way by Christopher. In preparing my 2019 taxes It occurs to me that I have spent over 2500.00 at Uhaul this year. Not one cent of my money will go to Uhaul anywhere until Christopher in Northampton is removed.

When we received the uhaul and got to our home and opened the back we found the back an absolute mess the blankets in a giant pile and the dollies not secure they were just laying on the floor. And trash flung about we have pictures we took. Also we were told the tank was full and it was not it was at 3/4 of a tank.

I rented at the end of the month, which I imagine is a busy time. The staff were patient, courteous and very helpful. The online return website wasn’t working (couldn’t verify my location) likely due to the storm, so I gave up and put the keys in the drop slot and went home. I heard from the store by 7:15am that all was well. I was extraordinarily happy with my personal dealings at this UHaul facility, especially with Graham and Ryan. They are wonderful. I also saw them helping other customers with the same professionalism and courtesy that I experienced. Thanks, UHaul! Now, if you could just get seat warmers and all wheel drive!

Equipment I rented beforehand didn't show up in my reservation, so I had to pay again. When I went to drop the truck back off, both employees were gone and had closed the store early without telling anyone. I tried to use the online return, but it wouldn't acknowledge that I was at the right location, so I couldn't return it online. Bad experience.

I had an extremely unpleasant interaction with Austin while trying to return my rental. Not only will I not be recommending this location to friends and family, I will encourage to stay away from uhaul all together.

These 4 things would help improve my experience though overall I was quite satisfied in the end: 1) Be able to more readily reach the local rental representative directly rather than going through the calling center. 2) Provide free overnight parking at the U-Haul place rather than being told I may have to park my car nearby at some other establishment. 3) be told upfront about return options such as after hours key drop etc. and any extra fees involved there. 4) And most important of all, be offered as and most important of all, be offered as a lower 12 hour rate rather than just a set 24 hour rate a lower 12 hour rate base fee rather than just a set 24 hour rate, and an option for less cost per mile, if possible.! But overall, the staff were very friendly, the vehicle was very clean and in good shape, and I felt that there was some generous offers to help like giving me a whole bunch of moving blankets for my use when I commented on the rain and other issues..

I was thinking of dropping one star due to the lack of space for maneuvering trailers, trucks etc. but the folks who work there are as good as they could be.

Both young men that helped me at pick up and drop off went above and beyond. When picking up, he helped me with the new approval app and with drop off he helped me with the Uber app! And found water for me too. Best Uhaul experience ever!

The trailer I had reserved was not returned by the time I had reserved it. The associate provided me with an alternative unit that worked out ok.
