The windshield wipers on the truck were non-existent, just glad it didn' rain more than it did... The truck ride was terrible when empty but at least bare minimum when it was loaded, terrible suspension. The stray you used on the floor of the cab should be eliminated, it's to slippery and not needed.
T SThe employee forgot to log my trailer return in, resulting in a stressful series of texts, calls, and chats that devoured 1 1/2 hours of my time. Otherwise the employee was excellent.

Steven MUnfortunately I had to have both tires replaced for the trailer which delayed my move significantly. I feel this U-Haul facility as all rental companies for this type of equipment, check their stock for any and all flaws. This could have been a disaster.

John Ashort staffed, long lines, not very useful staff, WAY too long to serve each customer. After waiting 20 minutes in line was told there was nothing available to rent for the time I needed it (even though online it said there were trailers available), so they told me to try a different location (chicopee) because they had trailers available - drove over 30 minutes to that location only to be told (after 20 mins waiting again) they did NOT have any trailers - but they told me Northampton *did* have trailers which I was able to reserve - so then I needed to drive BACK to northampton to finalize the rental. Completely dis-organized sh*tshow.
Edwin BHad to drive 40 miles to pick up truck,they should compensate for extra travel they originally booked me in greenfield ma. Then last minute changed to north Hampton ma. Last minute,Lil inconvenience

Jacklyn CCar transport trailer had 6" length trailer lights hook up. I had to find auto parts store and make up trailer lights extension whip. I was from out of state and had to travel to two different towns with no trailer lights to find parts to make up trailer lights whip. Not very happy with that. Cost additional $25.
Darlene FThe Northampton service center bailed me out after the independent U-haul agent closer to my home was not open for business when I went to pick up my reserved equipment the morning of my move. The representative at the service center was very personable and efficient and got the situation fixed and I was on my way. (The U-Haul customer service on the phone also did a great job in rectifying this.) Overall it was a pain but all's well that ends well.
David COn one of the most busiest weekends in our area, the U-Haul representative was fantastic and patient and that was with everyone! Really helpful! want to pass on that praise. Van was almost brand new and fun to drive.

WILLIAM KTruck was fine. However, U-haul asks you to guess how long you will need the truck for but charges you the same rate up to 12 hours. You apparently should ALWAYS just request the full time period even if you need the truck for less time because THEY DOUBLE CHARGED ME for returning it "30 minutes late" even though I could have just set the end time later for the same price. You punish your customers for trying to communicate their expected need when every customer should just request a full 12 hours and "return it early". Also, how is it a day rate when the rate changes intraday? There is no reason to have this setup this way except to trick customers into double charges. When I called, I was told this is company policy, and did not deny there is only harm to the customer and no benefit for requesting the truck for less than the full possible time.

Ian AU-Haul both in North Hampton and Chicopee Mass were excellent to work with and very helpful. We went back to the Chicopee U-Haul many times for questions and supplies before our move, and they were helpful each time.
Michael RProvide a receipt to the customer when they ask for it. Don't argue and tell the customer "go argue with someone else" clean the truck bed instead of leaving mud tracks in the entire back of the truck. I will never go again, because of the disrespect with the general manager towards women. There was a polite women in front of me, who was also denied a paper receipt upon asking. Told it "will be in the email" not everyone lugs around a smart phone. Because of this I had no idea what to fill the gas up to, and had to drive back and forth when I finally did get a receipt. Two arguments with the general manager. Made my moving day extremely stressful. Called corporate and corporate heard the general manager talk to me. Had to have corporate on the phone because I didn't feel safe bringing back the truck alone and only the general manager was at the store. Thank you corporate for taking it seriously. I will be writing a negative local Google review and posting. I went to U-Haul couple years ago at this location never a problem. Maybe he had a bad day. Don't take it out on the customers!!! Be professional. Never again. Very very disrespectful towards customers. Couldn't believe it. I'll be telling me to stay away from this location.

JOHN DI think Arelis is the best! I use this location at least twice a year. They have the best customer service, easy, and efficient check-in, and drop off. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoy this U-Haul location.

Jesse HThe individual we dealt with refused to rent the Uhaul for what we wanted which was for 2 days around $71.90 plus milage, stating that "he does not rent out a truck for 2 days at the end of the month." Therefore we were charged almost double because he made us rent the truck for 1 day, Saturday, but we could return on Monday at $134.56 plus milage. This is unacceptable to me. We have rented from this location several times but for some reason only when we deal with this one individual do we have a problem. He is rude, unhelpful, and seems to over charge us. He is the absolute worst associate there. The truck had a tail light that was out, the truck almost stalled several times, and was dirty. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had. I had a way better experience when we rented at the Waterville Maine location that we needed, as my mother in law passed away and we needed to clean out her apartment and move everything to a storage unit up in Maine. The girl at that location was awesome, polite, helpful and very kind and considerate during our most difficult and stressful time. This Northampton location is the worse.

Norman PThe clerk at the store was easy enough to work with, although he smelled heavy of Marijuana. Also I was charged for a refill on gas that was not accurate. When I received the truck the paperwork showed the truck to be at 3/8 a tank when it was closer to 5/16. After using the truck I filled it up to exactly the level it was when received and I was charged for a 3 gallon difference. With pictures to show they were identical.

Jennifer LThe equipment is fairly old and worn. The rear door latch would not lock unless I pushed it down firmly with my foot, which was especially frustrating in the cold. The doors also had to be slammed in order to fully close. It may be time to consider upgrading some of the older trucks. When I returned the truck last night, I noticed a newer one on site that appeared to be in very good condition. Having more trucks like that available and gradually replacing the older ones would make a big difference. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Kasia WI had a very good experience. Nice personnel, nice vehicle (a van), and when I got stuck away because of weather, they extended my rental very easily. The location is right near the highway and a shopping center, easy access, all good.

MARCUS BThe attendant just had us hand him the keys and didn't know what to do with the lock that we obtained in Westford, so we just left it with him. He did not direct us to the app for checkout or anything. Because I am me, however, I went back on the app and did the checkout process, taking all the pictures and mileage and everything. Made me anxious not to have the facts recorded. Would have preferred to have been directed to the app or to have the attendant complete the check in process.
