Uhaul changed my reservation time to 2 hours later than I originally planned for (and also the rental location). I called Uhaul to try and change the time back to the original time, but they were unable to help with this. I figured it wouldn't be a big deal because the website made it seem like I could drop the truck off â€˜after hours,' but upon arrival, the Uhaul representative said there was not â€˜after hours' drop off. They also said I had to bring the truck back at 6am to avoid fees if I didn't return it by closing. They also did not have the equipment I requested for rent. Overall, the experience was unpleasant and inconvenient.ERIK K.

While the above seems positive, the overall experience was absolute trash. My reserved location was moved to the one above and I wasn't notified until after I checked which was 7:00am. Then, my 7:00am pick up time, which was vital to my move out time with the HOA, was pushed back to 11:30am, which wasn't passed on to me until after I checked in at 7:00am. Then, the â€œReserved and Guaranteedâ€ promise that was given to me for a 15 foot truck was absolute bullshit because they gave me 10 foot and said that they didn't have any and they were all booked up. Since they had me by the short and curlies, being I was already late for my move out time with the HOA, I had no other option other than to take the smaller truck. Which stressed me out even more because I wasn't able to make this move in one trip. What was supposed to be an exciting time moving to a new place, was crushed and engulfed with stress and anxiety. I've used uhaul a lot of the years and this experience was a huge disappointment. I'll do my best to tell all my friends and family about this experience and warn them that the â€œPromise and Guaranteedâ€ slogan is meaningless.Vincent M.

The location I picked up the truck at was great! But my experience with reserving the truck was almost disastrous... U-Haul changed my reservation from a 26' truck to a smaller truck the morning of my move at a neighborhood uhaul. I just happened to see the email details with the truck size change. What pisses me off is the fact that I didn't receive a phone call or text message. If I didn't see the truck dimensions which 99% of most people wouldn't have seen morning of a move move. This reservation change if I hadn't caught it would have cost me $1500 in losses due to not having the correct size of a truck. I ended up having to drive an hour in traffic and pay for extra fuel both to and from the new truck pickup location which was the opposite direction of my move. It cost me time and money. My moving crew has to sit and wait as a result. I paid them for this time and lost money. U-Haul failed me. I'm going to take this up with corporate as a result.Peter M.

I spent half an hour cleaning and blowing out the back of the pickup truck, they received it and said it looked fine. The next day, the next day, I received a massive >$100 cleaning charge. Pretty messed up because I would have cleaned it more but they said it looked fine when I turned it in. Bad bad communication.Ryan W.

Everything was as well as expected. I was renting a cargo van for a few hours which I do on occasion in Napa where I live. In Napa I never get a good customer experience. I had to wait a bit to pick up because the clerk was helping a customer (which he should be commended for) going above and beyond to help the customer find a truck because he needed it longer than this location had a truck for!! Instead of just telling him to go to the website to find a truck he took the time to actually locate and reserve one for him. Also, I found your pricing on incidentals like tape and boxes etc. etc. to be extremely reasonable and I commend you for that as well!Richard C.

Customer service was horrible by Marco, we were not welcome he never greeted us or smile at all , he was very rude at times of asking for information or sigh he never used the word please or thank you I brought it up to him n advise that this was not the way to treat a customer and his response was that he treated everyone like he was treating us , I told him that I am a branch manager my self and I have n would never treat a customer the way he treat us his response was that I was rude to him first which that was absolutely not true, yes we were kind of up set because we had a reservation already at the other location at 8 am and when we showed up we were surprised that they did not have the vehicle that they had rented to another customer and the customer had not returned yet, which in this case they should have taken care of us and bring us the vehicle from the other location not have us drive all the way there to get the vehicle ourselves since we had made a reservation in person and provided all my personal and credit card information already, and to top it off Marcos kept insisting that we were late picking up the truck and I said yes we are late because the other location did not have the vehicle as they supposed to and send us down here, and instead of apologizing he kept insisting that we were late and that we should return the vehicle as soon as we done do nothing would happen overnight and he would have to go through a lot of paperwork and process with the insurance I told him I am paying n renting for 24 hrs and I bought the insurance and if anything was to happen I am cover and he kept saying that if we were done just to bring the vehicle back so we could avoid all that so to me that was very un profesional and why would you buy insurance from you if you are asking the customer to drop off as soon as your done not to keep the vehicle overnight just to avoid all the insurance processes ! He should not be working on the front giving the kind of information and not giving a good customer service I even said how do you expect us to come back with your service! I will also go on Yelp and erite a review in regards to this awful experiencesaida R.
As usual this place is a mix of horrible and awesome. I was greeted by an attendant whose asked for my reservation number. When I mentioned that the reservation had not been completed die to me not having my credit card with me at the time she interrupted me to tell me they had nothing for me then. I was flabbergasted as it was only a few hours previous that I had had my pick of trailers. When I explained this to her, she remarked â€œoh you're here for a trailer... we have those.â€ Anyway, I was then helped by a very surly gentleman in the yard. Who told me to go back inside to arrange the trailer I actually wanted. I then met up with a very helpful gentleman who took care of the rest of my process. My return was also handled very courteously. So you see, you have some awesome employees there and some real bitter ones... I'll keep rolling the dice and returning for now, as that location is convenient and usually has what I need.Jonathan K.
