We ordered multiple hand trucks from UHaul and none were provided. We had to drive to Home Depot to purchase hand truck and thus were charged for the extra mileage.

The customer service was horrible. I made a reservation for a 20’ truck but they gave me a 26’ instead because they didn’t have a 20’. Then they wouldn’t let me inspect it before driving it. When they gave me the keys, the passenger seatbelt DID NOT WORK!!! It was a complete and utter failure. The inside of the truck was horribly maintained. I won’t be renting from U-Haul again

The district manager here is not doing his job well. He did not consciously prioritize each person who was waiting in line before others who came in later. I waited in line for an hour past my appointment time.

Only thing was, when I called in the morning they said they didn't have a tow dolly but I called the 800# about 30 minutes later and they said there was one there, they reseved it for me, after that everything went great. I even changed the pickup time. Everything went very smoothly. Staff was very nice.

Personnel were very helpful. Some minor confusion - they called a few hours after I returned the truck to ask me when I would be bringing the truck back. That was resolved easily, not a big deal. Very kind and helpful staff.

A long straight access lane, dedicated to return of trucks, trucks with trailers needs to be established for safety, efficiency reasons. Two large Uhaul moving vans, parked with their doors open were blocking the entrance from International Dr. when I was returning your trailer. I had to go around the block three times before I could access the property. The property is a sufficiently large parcel, but needs to be reconfigured to allow access, specially for your customers with little experience backing up vehicles with trailers.

The Oakland location on International Boulevard was a huge headache, I would never return or recommend anyone to use their services there. They said the location was too dangerous to actually do after hours drop off, even though that’s what I originally paid for in my contract online. Why do they let you book after hours drop off at that location if you’re not actually able to drop it off after hours?? so then they said drop it off anytime tomorrow and it won’t charge you more. they said just estimate what time you’ll drop it off so I said 10am. Then when I was later than 10am I called to check that later drop off wouldn’t add additional fees and after long holds on the phone finally the person I spoke to said they had to charge me. after much back and forth and explaining, and them not being able to reach the store manager, eventually she the call center manager just said the additional charges were dropped. The app was malfunctioning and ended up taking more time than in person check ins, the taking a photo function wouldn’t work for example, and store associates didn’t know how to help me to get it to work on my phone. They charged me inexplicably an extra $5, and I was so worn down that I just let it go and said whatever.

Staff friendly, not helpful. First off I never rented this thing. This is the worst expirence I have ever had with any retailer. It took 2+ months to get this resolved. Won't use uhaul again
