The location on International is a pretty busy intersection so it feels a little chaotic to drive out of the lot, so if you're not confident about driving a U-Haul, bring someone who is cause the streets are tight and chaotic.
JENNIFER BI spoke with 3 different people two of them were kind and helpful, but the person that help me the most was rude, not helpful, had his AirPods in and spoke so you could barley hear him. He also tried to get me to buy an adapter that I did not need and would not explain to me why just told me I needed it, but that’s because he didn’t try to help me with anything I was doing. Will definitely not come back to this location. Sorry to the two guys that were actually kind and helpful.
Alan MEric (the manager) was incredibly helpful! His professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond made a huge difference. I work in customer service and use U-Haul often, and Eric is by far one of the most outstanding people I’ve ever had assist me. He truly deserves a raise!

STEPHEN KPoor experience, where I was basically taken advantage of. I paid twice as much as expected and will be telling my network to never use u-haul.
MARC HI primarily booked with this location because I was overbooked at another (closer) location, and when I arrived I was informed that I had once again been overbooked and the only option was that I get one of the 10ft trucks (which I was much less comfortable driving) as opposed to one of the 9ft vans I have driven many times before. Not a huge deal, but still not the most professional. As the one employee was getting the keys together, another employee yelled over "Is that (my name)?" and I told her yes. She then let me know she was about to call me about my reservation, and reprimand me for being late. I didn't book the reservation, a U-Haul employee did after my previous issues, so my 10-minute lateness from all of the travel from the previous location couldn't be helped, but this lady seemed to take it extremely personally. I continued receiving attitude from her for the rest of my time there, even though I didn't respond or react in any sort of inflammatory way. Just really rude behavior from someone not even handling my reservation. I just told her thank you for the concern, and apologized for being 10 minutes late, but her reaction was unwarranted for the situation.
ELLA AClean the vehicles before renting them out. The one I was assigned had dirt and sand in the back.
KEVIN RThe staff at the location were exceptionally knowledgeable about their product and process but they spoke a little fast and mumbled. Their demeanor was friendly and helpful. There was AMPLE parking in their generous sized parking lot for my vehicle to stay while I was in the U-Haul but it didn't feel like the safest neighborhood. I returned the van after hours when it was dark and the process took a long time and I got a little nervous.
ELISABETH RThe location was fine. I have more of a problem with Uhaul at large. More than once I have reserved an equipment at a specific location months in advance and at the last moment you give me an alternative location further away and where I have to pay tolls to get it. It becoming a running joke. And so so frustrating. Please do better.

DAVID RWe tried to rent from Livermore CA location. Good to work with but didn’t have trailer we needed, so we Were assigned pickup in Oakland CA. Very scary location, did not feel safe, though the staff there were very good and professional, but not enough to handle the people there to pick up and drop off, so long waits.

ANNABELLE GWhen i was recieving the vehicle, the person barely talked to me. Didn't go through anything about the van or how to even how to leave the damn lot. I understand that it's end of the day, but i dont like that I had to play around with the truck until I figured out how everything works. Worst of all is that once I got out the lot and was on the freeway, I find out that my driver side mirror was loose and I had to deal with not using that for a short period.

arjmand yTruck was clean, but overhead visor was broken and swinging around. Odometer didn’t match rental contract. Location was fine during the day, but returning the truck after the office was closed was pretty gnarly, several sketchy cars in parking lot with people sitting in them in the dark, did not feel secure or safe, especially since it took me almost 30min to try to complete a mobile drop off, walking around taking pictures with the app kicking me off over and over. Equipment left in the back with no way to secure it. I’m sure stuff gets stolen and messed with all the time after hours

ELLEN WThe one concern I had was that the trailer was pretty warped and bent in various places. I understand the flatbed might be impossible to fix, but the railings should be able to be bent back into place, and as-is they caught on the stuff I was hauling and made it more difficult to tarp my load.

KOLLIN PI don’t rent truck often but U-Haul has made it very simple and easy. I was a bit unhappy that I couldn’t get a truck near my home but happy to at least have one available. The staff was not very personable but they get the job done.
LATANYA MThe service was great, but the location was not in a good area. Lot of abandoned cars and homeless long the roads. Scary looking people hanging out in the parking lot. Wife was very scared to be in that neighborhood and in the parking lot. Would not want to go back to that location again
Carl RI was very disappointed with my recent experience with U-Haul. I chose U-Haul expecting it to be a one-stop shop to simplify my move from Los Angeles to Oakland, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I initially visited a U-Haul location in person to get a quote and ensure I was selecting the correct equipment for my move, including a truck to tow my car using a car hauler. The representative was helpful in identifying the right truck and equipment, and I ordered a furniture dolly and an appliance dolly as well. I was also informed that the necessary straps for the car hauler could be purchased at the pickup location. However, the quote I received did not include insurance coverage for either the truck or the car hauler. This added an unexpected $150 to the total cost ($120 for the truck and $30 for the hauler), which I only discovered later in the process. When I went to pick up my equipment the day before the move at a third-party U-Haul location, several issues came up. First, the pricing was inconsistent with my original quote. Then, I discovered that the appliance dolly I had ordered was missing, and the location did not have the straps I was told would be available for securing my car to the hauler. Fortunately, the employee at the pickup location was friendly and gave me two straps he had on hand, which was very helpful. Even so, I still had to drive to Home Depot with the truck and hauler to purchase additional straps myself to ensure my car was safely secured. Returning the truck was also frustrating. The drop-off location in the system was not the one I selected, and the location I went to refused to accept the return. I had to call customer service to have the return location updated manually. Overall, the experience added a lot of unnecessary stress to an already difficult move, which I handled entirely on my own. I expected U-Haul to make this process easier, not more complicated.

BRIAN Au-haul did not have the truck at the pickup location, and it did not have drop off at my location, sugggested new locations for both pick up and drop off more than 10 mile away and then charged me for the extra mileage that u-haul itself created. this has to be corrected

AMBER BStaff friendly, not helpful. First off I never rented this thing. This is the worst expirence I have ever had with any retailer. It took 2+ months to get this resolved. Won't use uhaul again
