I had a very bad experience with UHaul this time. My reservation told me to pick up the truck at a neighborhood location. When I got there the truck was not there, and there was no one on premises. I called UHaul and was put on hold for over an hour. Meanwhile my movers were waiting for me. I drove to a UHaul location in Pasadena, and the staff there was rude and dismissive of my situation, but at least informed me that I was supposed to go to this location in Pico Rivera. Why did they know that and I didn't??? When I finally got my truck it was an hour and a half late. I note that there was no particular issue with the service I got at the Pico Rivera location. But overall the UHaul experience was really bad.Jameson R.

The lady that checked due in was AWESOME the poor feedback is because the guy that came to check me in had a lot of attitude towards me when he saw that the Chain in the trailer was broken (I don't know when it happened or how ) even thou I had paid the 18 dollar insurance not cool will take my business elsewhere I had rented a 3 trailers in a 2 month spanJOSE S.

When I booked it online it showed the 17ft truck for $29 I even made a reservation when I got there they charged me $39 and had no price list for a 17ft truck. So I took the truck but the truck did t have anything indicating on it how many feet it is, I asked the girl before taking it I need to pick up a deck board that is 16 feet it needs to lay flat, she told me yesterday the bottom part from one end to the other is 17ft, well I got to the location and the truck was to small it was only 15 feet! Next problem they marked the gas inaccurate I even to a picture of it, and I filled it up exactly where I picked it up, but they charged me about $9 for that as well. Total paid was around $85 and I drove down to the Home Depot 5 miles away, and ended up having to pay for delivery that was $150. I did a drop off so I didn't get to talk to anyone I just seen this charge on my email and it's to late to call them. But I will never rent from here and I have rented to many U-Hauls in the past.Sandy B.

It was great experience with them, usually go to one at Valley Bl and these guys are even better! Javier called me day before to confirm the appointment and when I got there Mike explained me pros and cons about the breaking systems and I was shocked that don't have to drill the holes etc. Very pleased with their service and highly recommend to everyone I know. I am permanent customer here, 10 years, but my last 2 purchases were kind of not ok. First of all there is a new salesperson, who is rude, and they start to trick with gas level, like they give me a car with 1/2 tank but write 3/4, and I fill it with 3/4 to return back, and then they still charge me for 2 gallons :))) sooo cheap... I think the business owner should take care of this...GAGIK P.

I pre paid $302 for uhaul from nevada to california. I was given "x" amount of days. I packed and unpacked alone. It took me longer than anticipated to do so. I was called the day the truck was due and returned the phone call. I gave the rep my info to pull up my account. I told him i was going to need more time to unload due to driving and packing alone. He said "ok no problem, i will put a note on your rsvp" when i returned the equipment i was charged an additional $292. I was expecting to pay for the overage mileage but was not anticipating any other fees. I was really upset for i would of paid movers to help me load and unload $100 to finish faster if i would of known i was being charged $592 instead of $302. I lost my place, threw away half my furniture and moved out of state. $292 is a lot for me right now. I was so upset that i called customer service and requested partial refund, they said it was up to that locations manager. The lack of communication from the rep at this location cost me an additional $292.OSVALDO V.

I picked up the truck at 8:00 at night, with NO GAS. Literally, 24 miles to empty. That is not good. At least half a tank should have been in there. Full would be ideal. I was afraid I would not make it to my home. Driving an unfamiliar LARGE truck at night and into a gas station was not comfortable either. That's my only complaint. Thank youMichael C.

Well $20 for a truck is misleading you end up paying like $80 after for a few miles so that needs to either interpreted or in big letters, and i tried calling the day after to see if payments went through you the hold was 40 minutes knowing that there are no customers at the store so that needs to be fixed or get better employees.SERGIO F.
Only one employee working and checking customers in. It took over an hour to get vehicle ready . Need more employee's. They need to start an hour early and get equipment prepared. It's impossible to reach anyone on the phone , on hold for 20 minutes. Very disappointing. Tried to check vehicle in on line systems were down. I was also over charged on miles. Will not use u haul again. I left messages at corporate office and still have never received a call back, terrible customer service.....Joe H.
