THOMAS YNice new cargo van, a Ford Transit Van. It worked out well. Was pleased with everything.
Patrick WOne of the straps to hold the vehicle to the dolly lost both its bolts on the road to the pick up. If this had happened after the pick up, people could have died, including me. Please make sure the equipment is in proper order before renting. No excuses, this was unacceptable.I gave an average rating due to the great employees who helped me and the exemplary folks at roadside support. Otherwise the rating would have been poor. jonathan fIt’s necessary that you have change management this location. Part visit is really hard to do business with you guys due to staffing. We’re rude and earth house but I’ve been gone in the same location for years and this last experience was great. It was excellent customer service manager was ready tentative and they made sure that everything went smooth. I had a little problems with the app was freezing doing the verification and when I went and talked to one of the customer service rep, this gentleman was able to help me out and got me checked in and out easier less stressful everything went really good. I highly recommend this place.
PATRICK BNoticed a change service level from a few years ago. Walked in and there was a person on the phone and a person on a computer. No customers inside other than us. Had a reserved truck. Took about 2 minutes to be achnowledged. Person helped me then said truck is outside. Back a few years I was walked out by an employee to the vehicle, not this time. Not bad service, just different. I go to your location because its close. There is a Home Depot 1/2 mile from you, and I found pricing is almost identical to yours and they open at 6am M-Sat

Ryan WYour staff at this location are simply immature young people. Zero sense of customer care, sarcasm, etc. When it came time to give me my rental they simply pointed in the general direction where the truck was. It was up to me to locate and pull out from between other trucks. I’ve rented many times from U-Haul over the years and this was definitely a strange experience. Lastly I do not understand the rates I was charged. I will be calling for this today!
SALOMON SMy rental was for 24hr 9:30a to 9:30a. I returned the vehicle just before closing at 7:00p the same day, 14:30 early. I did not receive a credit or discount for the early return. The desk agent told me a credit would be issued. It has been one week, no credit. Good job U-Haul.
GREGORY GI had a frustrating experience at this U-Haul location. The representative who helped me did not seem very friendly and came across as though he didn’t enjoy his job. While everyone can have a bad day, the interaction did not feel welcoming or helpful. I had reserved a pickup truck ahead of time, but when I arrived at the location, they told me they didn’t have one available. Instead, they offered me a cargo van. I really didn’t have much choice but to take it because the item I needed to pick up had to be picked up that same day. Unfortunately, the item did not fit in the cargo van and had to be disassembled to make it work. This was a major inconvenience. If the pickup truck I reserved had actually been available, this issue could have been avoided. What made the situation even more frustrating was that there was a pickup truck parked out front at the location. When I asked about it, I was told the engine didn’t work. Seeing the vehicle there while being told no trucks were available felt misleading. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the lack of availability for the vehicle I reserved and the unhelpful customer service.

AILEEN GWhen I went to get the truck the kid was questioning whether I was in the right location because he didn’t see keys for the truck. They were right there but the girl had to find them instead. Couldn’t take pictures on the actual app. Kept giving me an error message but I took pictures and video anyways just in case.

CARLOS VAvoid U-Haul and the headache of working with U-Haul at all costs. Customer service is horrible; requires constant follow up from the customer to get U-Haul to complete their job. U-Box service is terrible and containers never arrive on time. Website is clunky, errors out half the time. Save yourself the hassle, use a professional moving company or at least PODS.
Jonathan DI reserved a moving the evening before online, easy straightforward went into the office in the morning gave my name and they handed me they keys, the truck number was on the key chain, very simple return, pulled into the return lane, a representative told me to leave the keys in the truck and they would email me the invoice. It was a good experience ✅
Gary OHad no issues with the pick up location. The drop off location was unorganized, rude and offered no customer service solutions when faced with challenges.

John CBetter provided information when using mobile pick up. And let customers know that walking in and picking up with a person, the customer reps no longer walk out to the truck with you and inspect or leave/bring the rented equipment for you in the truck or even pull out the truck for you. Thought going in person would be more customer service, would have been quicker doing mobile pick up. Overall location is good because they offer a lot of rental equipment.

DANA SOverall Great service so far. Fantastic, real-time communication at every step of the process. My only criticism is that one of the boxes was a little chewed up and rickety, with obvious previous repairs that were not very robust. Also, large screws used to fasten the front door locking latch to door (which could be undone with a screw driver or ratchet driver from the outside). Not a big deal, but the other box used fasteners whose heads could only be accessed from the inside of the box - which makes more sense from a security perspective. Looking forward to seeing how everything arrives at my destination!

MAHDI BTell a client in advance to check their email and do the checking of the vehicle's rear. I only saw my email when I returned the vehicle.

WILFRED AOne of the workers there I think his name is John M. He was absolutely fantastic. Super helpful guy. World class service from start to finish. I would hire him seven days a week and twice on Sunday. Great demeanor, super genuine, over the top service. Just excellent, I can’t say enough kind words. He was amazing.

RUBEN QRenting from this location has always been a positive experience, as was this one. I actually bypass three other locations to rent from the Placentia Ave. location. Bigger inventory was the initial draw, but each time the pick up and return of trucks was easy and handled by friendly staff. That's why I keep coming back to this one.
