The agent didn't tell me how to return the truck, by the time I reached there it was closed. I tried calling the customer care but all in vain and no-one helped me resulting in paying $10 extra. He should have told me how to return the car if the center will be closed.

The van smelled like cigarette smoke, and it was strong enough to make me and my son feel like we had headaches. We tried to drive with the windows down, but it was super cold outside. Other than that, everything was great.

As more technology is used to check in/out the rep seems less inclined to help. I.e. when checking in I like to know everything is all set...so I can bill my clients....so I request a personal check in.

The truck was returned two hours before closing yet was not processed until the next day. Had to pay a $20 penalty, which got reverted once I complained to customer service. There was no one there but the employee. He clearly just did not want to do his job.

Spent half an hour trying to turn the truck in early " after hours", using app and myuhaul.com in 15 degree weather only to be told they couldn't verify my location. It's a scam to charge you 20.00 fee! I fell on black ice and hurt my ribs at Brookline MA location

Returning the vehicle after hours was a bit stressful. I had already called an Uber to come pick me up when I realized the text link for UHaul was malfunctioning. It asked me for my location and every time I sent the signal by clicking on the link, it told me my location services were off. Well, that’s funny b/c right then, UBER showed up by finding me using my location services. I had to pay $5.25 to cancel Uber b/c I was still trying to get the vehicle checked in. I called the UHaul 800 number and sat on hold for 20 minutes, alone, outside the UHaul store in freezing temperatures. I finally gave up and just put the keys in the slot and called a second Uber.

Only one person working and a line almost to the door. Unbelievable. Also, nearly every truck in the lot was idling indefinitely for no reason, which is a violation of the state anti-idling law and basic common sense.

The store smelled like marijuana on the day I came in and checked out. People at the front desk had poor customer service skills. They both had an attitude and tone as if they were so miserable being there. The truck that was promised to wasn’t there. No one even notified me ahead of time before I came to pick it up. This was an overall terrible customer service experience.

The rep was great. He fixed the trailer to the van and got things ready very quickly. He explained the terms clearly. Drop-off was also a breeze. Thanks for the great service.

Truck indicated there was a light that would illuminate the trailer. It did not function. When first driving truck check engine light was on and then a notice to check the gas cap. Directions on length of rental and return were confusing. I picked it up at 1:40 pm for a 24 hour rental and kept getting noticed via text to return by 5:00 pm the same day.

The people here are great. I came in soaking wet from the November rain. The associate and I had a good laugh -- she was soaking wet, too. I had done a reservation, so everything was ready for pick-up. Much faster than I would have imagined. The woman, whose name I do not recall, was very attentive and efficient. Someone also took care of everything for my check-in the following morning. I had left the van in the lot the night before. As I was on my way to finish checking out in the morning, I got an email saying everything was finished. Great service!

Staff were warm, relaxed, professional, efficient and the advance reservation process worked. I wish I was not obliged to waive so many options when I knew what I wanted was a truck, not supplies and labor, etc. The reservation process was slightly onerous.

There was only one attendant at the location during a Saturday morning rush with many people there to pick up their trucks.He was polite, but with all of the other customers, he didn't have time to help me adjust the trucks mirrors, as I needed to leave in a timely fashion and could not wait. This location needs to have a larger staff on hand during peek hours. This was a one way move.

The side mirrors of the driver must be fixed. Glass wipers also don't work. This made me angry because I was driving in bad rainy weather. I had stopped during the trip more than ten times. So I will not repeat this deal with you in the future

There was only one person on pickup who could barely help me line up the ramp. The day precious I had called the location to ensure someone would be there to help my load my car and was reassured I would have no problems. I had to drive an hour out of my way to Brookline to pick up the truck I reserved in Worcester. And it took me almost an hour and a half to set my car on the ramp. I was planning on using uhaul for my next move but I’m reconsidering due to my experience this time.

The mobile check in didn’t save any time because I ended up having to go inside to check in anyways an resubmit all the same information. The truck was dirty, including mud on the floors and crumpled beer cans in the truck bed. Finally, the condition pictures they gave me looked nothing like the truck I got, so I had to spend time retaking pictures and describing the current damage before I left the lot.

The cargo van was a surprise to me in that is was in great condition and and safety features such as; back up camera, remotely adjustable mirrors, and automatic door locks.
