The person who helped me was really great. However, please make after-hours checkout more explicit and easier to find on the webpage. Signs that say "Go to Uhaul.com" are not enough to find the obscure link that is needed to check out properly.

I have gotten moving supplies from this location and now a moving truck. Both times I was extremely impressed by the manager of the store. He was professional, helpful and polite. He definitely gives Uhaul a good name!

More staff on the weekends or service counters to handle customers. There was a line of 7 people looking to rent equipment when I arrived and only one employee to handle them all. Needless to say it was a slow process. And I even did the express check in online the day before and it still took 10-15 minutes once I got to the front of the line to get me in the truck and on the road.

I returned a truck on a Saturday afternoon. The worker told me to leave the keys with him and he would would check the truck and send me the return confirmation in a few minutes. I insisted he do it in my presence but he said he was busy at the moment and everything would be fine and he would send me the confirmation. One day later I still did not get the confirmation and the truck had not been "returned" in the system. I called multiple times but no one at the location answered the phone and I kept being rerouted to a customer service rep who sent them messages to call me back and never received a phone call. Called again when they opened Monday and same story. Customer service rep sent them an urgent message and were able to resolve the issue.

Someone needs to have a talk with the employee I interacted with. I do not have his name, but he was a Hispanic gentleman, maybe in his 30s, with an earring. He answered my questions in brief, unclear half-sentences which required clarification. When asked what he meant, he gave the same answer. Overall, he was slow and rude and made no effort at courtesy. I don't ask much of the employee checking out a van to me, but he failed even these low expectations.

This was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had and Michael Valenti out of the Brookline store is the rudest person I have ever met. I am planning a big move in a month and I will likely pick another location or company so I don't have to ever see this man again. I would recommend others do the same until his behavior is addressed.

in the morning: there was only the manager and more than 8 customers waiting in average of 45 min to get their truck. My online reservation was not ready. The dolly and the blankets were dropped next to the truck for me to load. In the afternoon: I would not leave this negative comment if I was not accused on return of curbing a tire (which I have not) "but it's OK because you took the insurance". The tire was OBVIOUSLY damaged long before my rental - you could see the weathering of the tear and I have a witness to confirm. The managers comment was: "I know that you did it, because I checked the truck and it was not there and if it was like that I would never let the truck out because this is a safety issue". Well, it was a safety issue and the tire was damaged before my rental. Please make sure, that the back passenger side tire on my rental truck is repaired so that the next renter is not accused (again) of curbing it.

It would be nice to be able to contact a specific U-Haul branch directly. Usually, when I tried calling, it went to some remote-location call center and the person on the other end was unable to help with my location-specific questions.

Carlos, the manager that I interacted with was amazing! There were several people there and just him at the time I picked up my truck and he was efficient but very courteous to each and every customer. He is the biggest reason that I would recommend that others use that location.

My only complaint is that the gas tank was marked as 3/4 full when it was 5/8 full. Meaning that I was overcharged by $8, the amount it took me to return the tank from 5/8 to 3/4 full. The managers at the location refused to issue a refund.
