Both times I entered the store (to make reservation and to pick up van) it was several minutes before I was acknowledged, even though associate was standing right there at the desk. It was quite awkward. Associates should be trained to say something like,"Hello, I'll be right with you."

The man who greeted us was rude, the tires needed air pressure, and the door needed oil on the back. Also, they failed to tell us that we could deliver the truck that night and use the drop box for the key. We spent the entire day stressed, thinking that we needed to bring the truck back by 5pm after a long day of moving, only to find out that we could drop it off anytime that evening and use the drop box. Would have made our lives a lot easier.

Luis was awesome, super efficient and knowledgable. Thanks! On the other hand, the location checking from is a piece of junk. I wasnt able to complete the return of the vehicle due to not finding my location. Someone should test these things before releasing to the public.

Front tires needed air. Odometer showed incorrect mileage at end of trip by over 3000 miles for what was finally calculated at 12 miles as van was used only in the same area as dealership...luckily the employee on duty recognized the issue and promised a corrected final bill which showed 12 miles for total use!

The staff was great



You can train your staff to answer questions correctly. I was told that I could use a debit card to rent a van and that it would not be charged until the contract was closed as long as I submitted it as a credit card transaction. When I closed the contract I used a different card, and was assured that the charge would be against the new card number. In fact, there were two partial payments against the original card which caused three overdraft charges to that bank account, for an additional expense of nearly $100. Had I been given correct information, this would not have happened. I have no expectation of recovering this charge from either the bank (they did nothing wrong) or UHaul. In the future I will settle my bills in cash. It's too bad this snafu spoiled an otherwise favorable transaction.
