Be diligent in basic facts taking phone pics to back up claims which we did to corobarate our findings. They helped in our case against wrong information on U haul side. In the end he admitted his claim to a number was wrong. The customer ( me ) was in the right. The end of real story.

When I returned the truck, I spoke to the staff about how dirty the truck was. The inside windshield looked like something was sprayed on it but never wiped. If you were to run your finger over it, it was almost greasy. The manager came out with me to see and was very nice and apologetic and said he would ‘do something for me’. I received the invoice by email and there was no adjustment made. (I assumed that meant he would adjust the rental because what else would you do?) It was strange to extend that and not do anything. The check out and in were seamless and the staff were nice but the vehicle was gross

MOHAMMAD MThe staff were very helpful, went out of their way to help me sort out the electrical problem with my vehicle!! Turns out it was my expensive adapter that I only used once! They were able to troubleshoot in a couple minutes then got me on my way.

TONY PThe location’s employees do not have a good understanding of customer service and fully explaining the process. When we were paying he told me the price, and told me to press accept on the credit card machine, which was $60 higher than the price he said out loud. I told him that and he said well that’s if you were paying with a debit card the actual number is above that. I never said that I was paying with a debit card and the number above was the PST. He argued with me for a while before taking me through the steps on the computer, which should have been done first anyway. Once we went through the steps on the computer, the price changed and then I hit accept. In addition to this, the parking lot is too small to navigate through if there are any other customers in the lot. This was a bad experience and I will not be renting from them again.

STEVEN KWe rented the trailer for one day with the option of keeping the Trailer for one extra day due to our moving schedule. U-Haul service rep was not cooperative, nor was he receptive to our (customer) needs and concerns. Kept insisting on returning the Trailer well before the 24 hrs. We rented the trailer at 13:30 on October 31st; the rep called us next morning and insisted we return the trailer by 08:30 in the morning. The excuse given to us was that the Trailer has been double booked and the other customer who booked the trailer on line was at the store and was upset. Not sure how the local location is run and managed but we found the service sub-par. Not usually the case with U-Haul....we typically have very good service but this time we were disappointed.

DEBORAH HThe only reason I am rating U-Haul poorly is because I had a reservation at another location (1225 14TH AVE E) for this date. When I arrived, there were no vehicles available and I was forced to reach out to U-Haul to arrange for another location. This Park Street location was well serviced and the employees were wonderful. But I would hope that U-Haul would not book customers at locations where there are no guaranteed vehicles available.

GAIL BI would have been nice for the wildshield to be cleaned when I picked up the cargo van. The windshield was dirty with bug guts and kind of hard to see out of and when I tried to use the washer fluid the bug guts wouldn't come off as it they were on the windshield for a while.

CLAUDE JProcess was fast and easy and took about 15 mins before we drove the truck off the lot. Friendly people. *The truck windows were not clean and we had to wipe them down. Great experience overall.

Norm LWhen the manager states, “it’s the end of the month and we don’t rent trailers for the length of time you asked for”, well only thing I can say is WTF. He then asked how long I’ve had it booked for and I stated a month and his reply is “well I’ll let it go then”!!!! REALLY, no really is this customer service, NO. I can honestly say it was not a great experience. He wasn’t rude, he wasn’t professional, I did get the trailer so in the end all good, kinda.
DARYL FGreat customer service. The two gentleman working were very helpful and professional. I’d suggest having more staff on a Saturday as there was a line up (both times I have come on saturdays) However the two men were moving as quickly as possible still remained professional.
ASHLEY KThe parking lot is somewhat crowded and when there's no obvious parking spaces for customers, they seem to park where ever they please making maneuvering the large trucks and trailers out sometimes more cumbersome than it should be. Especially when the customers park on and angle. The drop off spot for trucks was a nice touch. Overall, staff was friendly, knowledgeable, explained the whole process and, with the exception of the customer coming in who could not park, easy and painless. Had lots of equipment selection and lots of extras inside to make moving easier.

ROBERT SWhen I opened the door there was a massive $19.99 advertising sign covering the entire windshield on the inside. When I removed it, the windshield was completely covered with bug splatters. And mean COMPLETELY COVERED, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week of driving. It was absolutely disgusting. The side mirrors and side windows, though not covered in bugs splatters, were also completely filthy. The tires were also low. The people who run this location have a responsibility to provide the paying customers with clean and safe roadworthy vehicles, and from my point of view, neither of these expectations were met. They took zero time to remove the big sign from the dash, clean the windows or check the tires for air, and make the vehicle presentable for their customer (me).

SAMUEL AWe had a catastrophic tire failure when the wheel break froze on the highway. We were stranded on a busy highway for 3 hours waiting on roadside assistance that never materialized. We had to find service on our own. We were 20 miles outside a major city. The entire experience was horrible.
