Uhaul, from the start, wrecked my move, I paid for and ordered a 6'x12' trailer, paid d in full, then the day before my move, on Canada Day long weekend, messaged me a confirmation for a 5'x8' trailer ??????? WTH, I needed and paid for a trailer to haul al my furniture etc, instead of 72 sq ft of floor space, I got 40, oh, and I owed .72 cents when it picked it up, if only there was a different company, DONT USE UHAUL if you really don't have to , Horrible Service, never answered phone, horrible experience, thanks for nothing, I moved interprovincial your, so needless to say I threw out a lot, wing chairs, bbq, etc , ha, no room !'ANDREW C.

Because of a faulty electrical connection on the trailer we had to make numerous stops to get the turn signals and brake lights working, including the day to return the trailer to the Regina drop off location (after a 2000 km trip). We ended up being an hour past the drop off time so they charged us an extra day's rent as a penalty even though I explained what happened. I even told them we had to travel 100 kms each way to pick up the trailer in the first place because even though we reserved one for pick up in Victoria they couldn't get it down there for us and we had to go fetch it in a small town. That meant nothing to the girl I dealt with. She didn't even apologize for the faulty electrical that caused our 1 hour delay. She seemed happy to add on a extra day of rent. The front desk was excellent but the manager was talking very loudly and bad about other staff and how one was more impressed than the other. Very unprofessional but the front staff was very apologetic and was helpful but let them know it wasn't their fault that a manager talks like that and I felt bad for them.Linda B.

I was told that I have under 1/2 tank of gas. I drove to my son's house to pick up belongings for another house ( he was moving). When I drove back to original location; the truck was choking. I was running out of gas??? I stopped at the CO-OP in Sherwood, Regina SK, and the attendant filled in truck "12 1/2" liters of gas. I had to wait in line 15 minutes? Drove to original house, loaded up and headed to drop of appliances, beds, etc, to my son's new location. Then, Afterwards returned unit to U -Haul. Please check my receipt??? I was recorded as doing 33 miles or 53 kms. Really?? Was the gas tank 1/2 full? On the receipt, it shows, 1/4 gas tank ???? I showed my $25.36 dollar receipt to U-Haul personal and asked if he would need it. I was told it does not matter. They don't care. Personally, I feel cheated. The truck if it was under 1/2 full wouldn't it for 53 kms or 33 miles be able to to trip? I lost time and money because I had to pay workers to load and unload. They waited for me at the gas station. 15 minutes of the 2 workers set me back $20.00. I know that's peanuts to such a large company but I am retired and helping my handicapped son.William C.

Get a bank machine that beeps when you forget to remove your card. I left my credit card in the machine as it took so long after I did my signature. I had to drive back to pick it up. Most machines won't finish the transaction unless you remove your card.KEVIN G.

Do pre checks on truck. Don't overbook trucks. How come you will charge the same for a 4 hr window and a full day? And then force the customer to return the truck with in the 4 hr window when it's the same cost. If you want to enforce the windows do a different rates for each window. Very unsatisfied, if I Have to take a truck, I will do my best to avoid uhaul .Chanakya N.

The customer service was poor and not very informative. Did not explain how the transaction work for prepayment and refund when vehicle was dropped off. The truck had a check engine light, miss fire and bad exhaust leak. If I had far to drive I would have returned the truck. Overall I would not use this location again.Bryce J.
My experience here was a complete joke, from the initial rental, being charged but not having it applied to my reservation. So i couldnt get my reservation without making a second one. Still waiting for the refund to go through. Being told on the reservation I would only need to pay xx+mileage and then being charged a deposit of almost double for the initial reservation. Then my follow up reservation suddenly having to pay even more for a deposit for no reason other than 'it only does this once in awhile, do you have cash? We can by-pass it'. To the lack luster attitude of all the staff. Let alone the 2 guys that kept going to one of the rigs and coming back more baked the first time I was in the store for an hour and a half waiting to find out where my deposit went if it hadn't been applied to my reservation. My God how do any of these people still have a job?David D.

It was tough to pull into the lot as a trailer blocked the entrance. The place was crowded. I was asked to go around through the crappy back alley. However, the guys were nice and helpful. It was a quick drop-off.Chad T.

He did not even ask me for optional insurance and just charge me for it, when I complain about it next day when I seen invoice, He just ignore me. Reseal the door and corners of the trailer. Some water got in which was expected but more than we had hoped. Also updating the lock nuts on the trailer connector would make loading and unloading easier if you didn't have to tighten thru all the rustnathan P.
Great customer service. Top notch. They let me borrow a hitch and ball instead of making me buy one. Was an issue with a light on the first trailer, but they caught it and set me up with a different one. The only improvement I could suggest would be to move to a bigger location. The building seems old, and with how busy the place is, seems they could use the extra space.jeff P.

It was quite unnerving to phone what was a local number and than you would get someone in the USA when you just wanted to talk to someone at the Park street location. Also we were surprised the van was not washed and clean and full of gas when we picked it up. You need more staff for a busy Saturday. One staff member was serving 3 customers at once. She did a great job of it but definitely could have some help. Especially since I was the only one with a reservation and the other 2 did not have a great facility with the English language.Don E.

Service was incredibly slow to get the truck. I was given a truck with the check engine light on which was very concerning to me, driving such a large vehicle. It did not instil confidence. I was told the truck at 5/8th of a tank of gas and if that was wrong I had to come back into the shop to change. I got the truck and it had a half tank of gas so I went back into the shop but there was a line and and with service being so slow and my move being stressful enough, I decided not to dispute the gas estimate and instead thought I'd just add more gas than needed. I filled up $15 dollars worth of gas to go 30 miles and was still charged for 6L of gas at Uhaul's premium price. Unfortunately this idea that UHaul is going to nickel and dime for everything is a reputation of UHaul. The unfortunate truth is that uHaul is the monopoly so the company can get away with this. I just expect extra and hidden costs for an unsafe and inferior product.Drew N.

I took car from Dewdney Ave. And dolly from park street. Very very bad experience in Dewdney Ave. The person did not respond very well and he wants to charge 2 time.(he doesn't know the process).
