Rich and David offered all the assistance I needed for my rental experience to be a good one. They hitched and unhitched the trailer for me and made sure I was good to go, and that the trailer was safe to use.

TAY HDid an online reservation via app $19.95 + $8 + tax. When showed up to pick up, I was informed I could not deliver the trailer on the same place because some random reason. Then I ended up paying $40 and had to deliver the trailer in a different place. I used the trailer for less than 2 hours. Will think twice next time before using U-Haul services.

JON MStaff behavior at this Renton location was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. When we arrived, employees stood and stared while we unloaded our vehicle instead of providing any guidance or assistance. After unloading—while clearly in the designated drop-off area—staff demanded that we park the trailer for them. We complied without issue, but the manner was abrupt and disrespectful. After the trailer was unhooked, staff continued to be rude and demanding, creating an uncomfortable and hostile experience during what should have been a routine return. There was no courtesy, and no basic customer service or attempt to communicate respectfully. This experience was entirely avoidable and reflects poorly on this location’s management and training. I will not return to this location and would not recommend it based on staff conduct alone.

DIANA MStaff was great, but This trailer was wrecked. Fender bent, flat light didn’t work, and it shimmied while driving, even dual axle. One of the other side tires was at 25psi. The garage door at the back was so crusty it was incredibly hard to use. The brake springs were wound so tight the trailer banged every time you left off the brake or stopped - was it missing a bushing?. And there were basically no tie downs in the trailer. Need to take a closer look before renting them out.
SCOTT HI was sent to another U-Haul in Renton before this one and I have NEVER been treated so poorly by any employee, of any business, ever in my life. He was the GM of that location. The man is on drugs! The absolute worse customer service I’ve ever experienced… I’m renting from Home Depot from now on.

L GThe employees at this location are completely incompetent when it comes to knowing even the most basic things. I drove 45 mins to get there only to have them tell me they dont accept any of my cards. So I asked if my wife could just call in and provide her card info. I was told theres no way for them to do that. So they said to have her book it online or on the app and pay for it online, well she did. I then go to get the keys and they look at me like I was speaking another language and tell me "Im sorry she has to be here to swipe her card for us to be able to check the truck out" mind you over 2 hours has now passed and I have to explain to my wife that she just wasted all that time and she now has to drive 45 mins out there... for the sake of anyone reading this i will paraphrase the end suffice it to say the end of the rental was equally as botched. And as a real slap in the face when I renewed the rental well guess who all of a sudden could accept debit card payments over the phone without me being there... lol and just to make sure I never think about renting another uhaul for the rest of my life they send me the bill which included a extra day $149.99 3 days of extra insurance $45 4 days of dolly charges for a dolly i never had $48 250 dollars in fraudulent charges for the worst rental experience of my life DO NOT GO HERE MAKE THE TRIP TO SEATTLE OR YOU WILL WISH YOU HAD
DONALD BOur interaction with Isabell was 100% top notch!! She is very friendly, incredibly helpful and got us rented and out the door in no time at all. I would 100% recommend her to do business with. The only reason I marked down to 4stars is our interaction with the other person working the shop when we returned the u-haul was kind of snippy and not helpful instead making us wait in a lonnnng line of people returning trucks all at the same time. While isabel was trying to clean and get the keys and in take the vehicles, the other gal just told us to wait for Isabel and kept fiddling around at the counter while all the customers were outside, there was a line up out to the street. So Isabel GREAT!! Other gal, not great.

Coco JI used a van for 13 miles that had 3/4 full tank returned it while close to 1/2 they billed me for 1/4 tank. Honestly can 13 miles use this much?
SAMORA NI've been here for trailers and had a much better experience. The truck I rented was very poorly maintained and I'm glad I only had to drive it 60ish miles total, back and forth a few trips. I would not have trusted it for a cross state trip. I also ordered two mattress bags and only was given one, they did refund me when I returned the truck for the other one but I would have preferred to have it.
SETH OI actually would never recommend U-Haul to anyone. So many times I’ve reserved a truck only for it to not be available, every time. This time was different only in the fact that none of the equipment I requested was in the truck, so I waited in line on a Saturday while ONE person is behind the counter. Once I get my keys 5 employees walk in, once I return to ask about the equipment it’s literally one person again, what the hell even happened?? Then y’all try and charge me more after I return the truck because yall can’t transfer the accurate mileage from my reservation? Absolutely absurd, I even reached out for the $50 reimbursement and I’m sure that was just AI response since it sounded so soulless 🤣 anyways, happy thanksgiving!
Lane FWhen we dropped off the truck at 9:00pm the lot was PACKED and we were barely able to get the 15’ truck safely into the lot. There was plenty of space, but previous customers did not utilize it efficiently. One truck extended across the sidewalk.
CASSANDRA HThe lady that is working here is extremely rude she has no customer service what so ever and has no intention of giving the customer a good experience. When I went to drop off the keys, she was outside and I had said “excuse me” to get her attention she then proceeds to walk away from me after saying that over 5 or 6 times. Once we get in the store and I say it even louder she turns around and says “can I help you” with the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced in customer service. This lady should not be working here and is completely rude and a horrible employee for U-Haul.
MILES CThe hand/foot brake release lever was kind of out of position. Could be a struggle for a driver to find it.

CHRISTOPHER GCashier had unenthusiastic attitude, but the people assisting with the equipment were efficient and polite. It was actually quite a surprise when compared to other UHaul locations I've been too where service was pretty bad.
DONALD MFix the attitude of the counter person who helped me. She talked to me like I did something wrong and with a very angry tone. I asked her if she's angry and she responded, "let me do my job okay?" However, when I returned the truck on the following day at 1pm, the gentleman who helped me was friendly. I saw the previous night counter person that afternoon too and she had the same attitude. I was patient because I needed the rental truck. I spoke with the manager that evening, but it looks like her attitude never changed. I will not come back to this facility if I have another place to go.
BENJAMIN LEnsure the outside of the vehicle is cleaned, so folks can avoid charges. Bird poop in 2 locations and gunk on the windshield. Also, maintain your tires. As far as the tire incident went, my husband had a tire completely give out (rubber literally rolled across the freeway) 30 minutes into his 5 hour drive, was on the side of the freeway for an hour before he was able to get a spare tire brought to him. Had to come from North Bend.
CATELYN CWoman who booked for us was amazing! Forgot her name ..so sorry! Beautiful bright hair. . Very sweet and helpful. Young man who helped hook up trailer was incredible, friendly, and seemed genuinly happy to be there. Refreshing! His name was Chris. Probably still is!

Barb BThe first time I rented a uhaul staff was amazing but the equipment was not clean so when I returned the vehicle the rep took pic and stated someone was smoking which was not true then the second time I rented a trailer and a hour of my time turned to 5 hrs given the straps would not unlock this experience was horrible the staff was nice that that was about all, I didn't even get a call from. Management or no follow up regarding the inconvenience I was caused because of the faulty equipment
