Why does it take forever to check in and get out with equipment. It took 45 min. before my turn to cashier and then took over 10 min to process paperwork despite of having all information on hand ready. And then another 20 min before some one can hook up trailer. Poor service despite of going all digital. Why can't you make this rapid check out.... Check in online still take too much time at stores so something is really wrong at store level service.RONAK V.
almost no staff onsite, and returning the equipment, no one was there to receive it. There needs to be someone there to receive equipment, so customers don't have to just leave it. 1. I appreciated the refund for the overall issues discussed prior. 2. I still paid in excess when considering if I would have got the three originally as I paid for a flight, trucks, and an extra shipment from location to home which was over double the cost of the original shipment, it came a day late and they picked up the box three days late. Overall, I still would not recommend this product. A lot of times people at uhaul are unsure about what is going on. It adds a lot of stress. I do not understand and the reciept is not clear why shipment was $210 from the location, the charge appears to be in part a rental charge that i also paid on the 16th = $108.xx. My hapiness is higher than it was after the partial refund of excess cost, but do not feel fully satisfied with the experience or costs.MICHAEL D.

Service was extremely slow. I took a photo of the gas gauge before i left the lot. It showed the level of gas to be less than half full as checked on my paperwork. I drove 18 miles and put in two gallons of gas. The kid that checked me in upon return tried to add $17.00 for fuel to my bill. He got caught and took it off my total. The bed was perfectly clean so he added $5.00 to clean some dust off the interior. Not a good way to treat a customer.Duane B.

There was only one employee at the location, which is consistent with the last three visits. This means over 30 minutes in line to get the truck I reserved online. The truck this time was in poor condition - the driver door would not shut, fortunately the battery did not die overnight. The gas tank would not fill, it spilled out a bit and was dented. The gas level showed .5 on the paperwork (which the employee said he was unable to print). I took a picture of it showing under .5 at checkout. Upon returning, after 2.5gal of filling prior to return, the employee told me it was undefilled unless I could show him a picture I took on checkout showing him the gas gauge in the truck was different compared to the paperwork. Fortunately I had taken a picture so we worked that out, and I showed him my gas receipt. Originally he told me I would have to pay an additional charge for gas. Finally, this truck had a padlock on it (which I didn't use). I am not sure if the padlock is standard, I thought you had to pay extra for it. It would be great to just up the overall rental by $1 and include a padlock across the board rather than ask the customer. I'll continue to rent from here because of the monopoly, cheapness and reliability of the truck, but it's still annoying to try to get nickel and dimed. I suppose that's part for the course for $30.KEVIN B.

They forgot to put rented blankets in truck and I returned to get them. They pretty much told me it was my fault as I should have checked when I took the truck. He put them at the edge of the garage and I asked him to put them in my car. He refused to do so.MARILYN H.

Only complaint: when I reserved a different kind of trailer two weeks ago, I wasn't informed that it wouldn't be available until the day I expected to pick it up. It felt uncomfortable inside while trying to pick up keys during my mobile phone order I had to wait in line and I have a few tattoos but nothkng crazy I don't know what it was but felt like I was treated like a criminal or a theft it took two associates to verify me on the computer and ask questions and overall not very friendly. Well not if u look like a minority I guess. And after returning the van the next day using the mobile app the same associate (female) seen me parked at the returns and automatically takes the return and completes as I stand there unsure what to do. The best part is I was charged an 19.99 fee because she completed the check return during the middle of my mobile return thats crazy never againSteven P.
Nothing was easy about the rental process. I made the reservation online and utilized the online check in. I showed up and found my truck was blocked in. I then had to wait in line for 30 minutes to complete my order even though the process was supposed to be simple. They then proceeded to tell me that they didn't have the furniture dolly I reserved. The employee instructed me to call other locations rather then helping at all. I did track down the dolly at another location which I needed to move a fridge upstairs. But then wasted more time and gas driving to pick it up. Overall my experience was terrible. The online platform is awful and leaves you driving to multiple stores to pick up the items you need to move.Stanyan B.
I had a reservation, yet still waited 20-30 minutes to check in. I reserved the truck more than 2 weeks ago but was told that they didnt have the truck I reserved. I was given a large truck. It was fine and worked out. When someone is moving, it is a stressful time. I think better customer service and communication would help a customer feel that they were doing everything they could to accommodate their reservation and get them the truck they needed to move. Miguel was the one who helped me with my rental, he was very helpful and explained everything on the website and how to return after hours. He showed me how to check the rental before and to check after to make sure I don't get charged for something I'm at fault for. The truck was dirty, the AC smelled dusty and the cab was so loud you couldn't hear anyone talk while driving. Fuel was below half a tank, fuel should be full so you don't have to worry about fueling until you are returning to the yard. The employees were nice and helpful the guy that handled our return was particularly helpful, quick and easy to work with.NATHANIEL D.

Im not sure whats going in with uhaul lately but it seems every location around me is understaffed and the people that are working are not knowledgeable at all. Also the hurdles and steps of having to have your phone (mine died) taking pictures, etc is ridiculous. Its as if uhaul doesnt want its employees to have any responsibility and make the customer do literally everything now. Not a good experience at all in last year.
