The online reservation system failed us. When we went to this location to pick up our cargo van, the front staff looked up our reservation and said everything was booked. Due to no fault of the front staff, it was the online system not updating the information with the locations inventory. The front staff at the location kindly helped us and resolved the situation by adjusting the rates for a 15' truck. I would highly recommend corporate travel online system to fix this problem since overbooking is a continued issue. The front staff shouldn't have to take the brunt of this especially when some customers aren't very understanding.ANDREW C.

Equipment dirty gas tank had a little over 3/8. Counter service was slow and could care less if I was a customer. Although they had 7 vans they refused to switch my reservation from a pickup to a van. When I returned the pickup, they still had three vans sitting in the same spots.ROBERT H.

The cab of the cargo van had food crumbs all over the interior, a quick wipe down or cleaning would go a long way. 12 volt outlets did not work with my USB charger unless I held it down and pushed it into the socket, so my cell battery almost died. other than that, experience was good and renting the van saved me from making several trips in a truck.Robert L.
Your prices are high and different from what you have listed because of tax and rental tax etc payed 72 dollars for a listed 54 dollar trailer which is still high for 6 hours with a car trailerJOHN W.

To begin with, I had to wait almost 30 minutes between the time I signed the contract and when the truck was at the from ready for me to drive out. The truck was in very bad shape, I could not drive over 50mph because above that it would badly jump like a bronco, awful drive. The truck fuel tank was almost empty, luckily I noticed that right after I got on the freeway. I had to exit to look for a gas station and verily made it. The contract was marked 1/4 but i was not. The guy who handled me the truck seem to be in hurry and did not get over the standard procedure to release the vehicle. I travel a lot and rent cars at my destinations. Somebody goes over the condition of the car and checks the millage and fuel level, which is normally full. Once I get the car I do not have to check the contract. In this case being in a hurry I totally forgot about the inspection. The person who receive the car at Widomar did the full inspection and when I asked him about the empty tank, he told me that it was my responsibility to check so it was my fault. I don't think so. I feel that the agency renting the truck should make a full check of the truck for safety, fuel level and other matters. By the way, the truck did not have a back up alarm, which as far as I understand is a safety requirement for such a big truck.Carlos J.

Check in was great. Customer service was excellent and the representative was very pleasant. Courteous and helpful. The person who assisted us with delivery of the truck was also very helpful. As for the return. The gentleman who assisted us when returning the truck should not be working with customers. He was rude, unpleasant, didn't greet or explain anything and had an unpleasant attitude if asked a question. He, along with other employees present that evening were yelling and hollering back and forth at each other as if we weren't even present. They were excited over the fact they were going to get to leave early because â€œthe meeting was called offâ€ I couldn't believe the language exchange. So unacceptable. Note, there weren't any employees in the store. Just the male employees outside. The gentleman who checked us was wearing a leather motorcycle vest with patches on it. Not a great representation as a Uhaul employee.Herlinda D.

The van was exactly what I needed. It was powerful and drove well both on the freeways, local roads, and hills of San Francisco. Also easy to parallel park. The U Haul staff made it easy to adjust my reservations to changes in my itinerary. Also, rates were reasonable.JOSEPH G.

The guy who check my rental pick up truck as so rude He yelled at me stating the truck was left there over night and he had to break into the truck when he's saw me open the door and I was instructed to pul the truck to the middle lane outside. I informed him that I brought the truck back at 6am. I went for coffee about 6:20am. He sad well that's over night. Rude and aggressive tone. He said Il take care f t now I told hie I wanted t know my total he sad your done as for a receipt he said I gave Yuit one I said where please he aid I already emailed it I said than you. His tone was rude every sentence Horrible service the front desk was good The truck was dustySOPHIA H.
Every employee has an attitude towards willing to look for an excuse not to help, it seems like they are looking for an excuse for not providing a service without a "but" or "I Can't" answer coming from them, includes "everyone!" from the counter, that makes every excuse that can possible be thrown to extend check out time even with a reservation, Next they guy who disappears for over 10 minutes after you ask for help and drags his feet to come and help and extends the check out time another 30 minutes. And finally the unfindable employee to get disconnected and check out the unit, Don't take me wrong if I get bother with their ethics, but they don't smile nor say hi!, but they are willing to unnecessarily waste you time while you are there. I'll keep on renting your units for as long as I need them, It's been more than a 100 times that I have done this, I could buy a trailer to avoid dealing with these situations, But I wouldn't have room to store another vehicle at my place of business, I'm more that sure you guys have heard this before, but I have been there to heard loud screaming to your employees for the lack of training from other clients, this only happens at corporate stores, because all other locations, it is a great pleasure dealing with someone whos is willing to help and say hi and thank you when you are done!VICTOR P.

We had to ask and wait for the truck to be repaired. The side fender or panal was broken. When we mentioned the issue they said it was fine. We did not want to take it due to the air drag it would have created and the wasted gas mileage it would have caused.JOSE G.

First time pulling a trailer but the young man who helped me took the time explain everything and answer my many, many questions. Pick up truck inside was very dirty. Gas tank was NOT at 1/4 full mark as stated on contract. Pictures were taken and submitted when I Had to walk a distance to go get the Truck and put the dolly in the back of the Truck bed myself. Liked the power of the Truck. I have 3 authorizations on my credit card...WHY?! and a revised charge after I was being overcharged but attendant did adjust after I pointed it out. Now 4 authorization holds on my C.C. Not good at all!!! Iwill rent again there but will now have to check & double check WHAT they charge & The condition 9f the vehicle I rent. Thank YouMark H.

Why does it take forever to check in and get out with equipment. It took 45 min. before my turn to cashier and then took over 10 min to process paperwork despite of having all information on hand ready. And then another 20 min before some one can hook up trailer. Poor service despite of going all digital. Why can't you make this rapid check out.... Check in online still take too much time at stores so something is really wrong at store level service.RONAK V.
