But more than a month after the trailer was returned to another location, and with no communication, I was assessed a fee of $817 for returning to the wrong location - for a $208 rental. Beware of giving U-Haul your credit card info: once they have it, they can and will do whatever they like with it.

LORNE T.Horrible experience. I paid $317 and was charged an additional $309. I tried calling the Uhaul store I rented at and was on hold for over an hour and no one ever answered. This is beyond terrible service and I will never be using Uhaul again and will recommend all my friends and family avoid using Uhaul.
Brendan G.understaffed and waiting over an hour to pick up a reservation is unacceptable. I can not blame the workers, as they were working hard. But management should not have scheduled so small amount of employees on a busy day (Saturday morning)

QUANQING Z.To be honest, this is the best UHaul location I've been to. I've been to maybe 6 or 7 different UHaul places in the past 10 years, and frankly, most of them suck and offer bad service. This location had a TON of merchandise available, well-stocked, and I needed some stuff which I got from you guys. Your staff were courteous and reasonably quick. Usually the UHaul staff seem angry that they have to work at UHaul or talk to humans or something, but the gentleman who helped me (last name was Ponce, I think) was solid. At one point, another staff person was yelling at him about a bucket, and that was kind of awkward and uncomfortable, but the Ponce guy was awesome both times I worked with him yesterday. If I have to deal with UHaul in the future, this is the only store I will go to unless I'm far away, none of the other UHaul locations can compete with you guys, it's a shame your locations is so sketchy.

I rented a pick-up truck and even with major credit card, picture of Driver's License and purchase of insurance, they still take of picture of you, as if you were a criminal. Equipment was dirty, and I mentioned it, but it falls on deaf ears, yet they expected it back nice and clean. Not a very pleasant experience. Thanks, Frank frank.partida@outlook.com

JERRY B.The difference in estimated price total and actual price total was way off and I drove less miles than estimated only used 1/8 of gas and to fill it back to half tank and the cheapest gas station was almost 30 dollars extra if it wasn't for me taking my own pictures before leaving the uhaul yard they would have charged me for dolly that was never in truck

I cannot recall the name but after going over 2000 miles to relocate I found that things went smoothly even after we had requested this current drop location for u-haul. EFREN V.Nothing really, everything was great. The only issue I had to deal with was that I needed to travel on the toll roads and there was no provision for that so I will most likely be receiving a toll penalty.
Susan S.My only negative comment is I reserved the trailer at the corona location 5 minutes from home after discovering the trailer wasn't there I was sent to ontario location 30 minutes away to be informed not trailer there so I was sent to riverside location to finally pick up trailer..for my convenience I was allowed to drop off trailer at my home location which was nice I will say the lady which I wish I knew her name the lady that does scheduling that I contacted through u-haul customer support line she was terrific outstanding and so very helpful she walked me through this process found the correct location for my trailer arranged for me to drop off at location bye my house and was all around a pleasant and helpful person to talk to. Due to her helpfulness and immediate customer service I will for sure be back renting from u-haul and refer a friend. Had the not come to my aid I wouldn't use u-haul again..
Daniel W.Lazy, slow, and rude workers. I got there at 9am and didn't leave with my reserved truck until 10:12am. The line had over 10 people and only 1 worker helping. I had already had a set drop off location but they took it upon themselves to change my drop off location and did not even tell me. The person that was suppose to assist me regarding the rental truck was rude and helpless and on top of that, he had a nasty attitude. (Wasn't able to get his name). This uhaul location did not follow Covid Regulations. I would never go back to this place.

John C.My friend reserved the truck for us because we were homeless. But at the pick up place we couldnt pick up the truck. They said without having the actual card it was reserved with or cash we couldnt pick it up. So we used another card and she ran the card so many times the bank locked it. Very bad experience!!!
Darla O.When I called to schedule the person I spoke with didn't know the equipment. I asked for the smallest with a ramp and of course the one I got didn't have one. I asked for an appliance dolly and of course it was not on my reservation. I was just troubling all the way around! Then the cost was to high for all these issues.
NORMAN A.I received a confirmation for u share and twenty for hour pick up. Proceeded to the spruce location for said pick up before store hours to no avail. I called the hotline and was informed that there was no reservation for me. I said I got the email confirmation with all the Pertinent information and I could show it to them etc. and the person responded there's nothing they can do there's no truck for me. Which is completely unacceptable as moving is scheduled and this I had to pay the movers etc. but I had no truck to actually move. And it wasn't as if This was something on my part your system failed and I paid the consequences for it. Completely unreliable and unacceptable will not be using you again. I lost a money because of your inadequate system. Like why send an email confirmation if it's useless ?????
BREALE W.15 miles put on truck...they charged me a refill of 4 gallons!...that is less than 4 cents a gallon. I was truly ripped off...watch out.
Russell O.I was very frustrated with the cost of a Uhaul trailer when leaving California. I paid $200 for a 6x12 trailer in Arkansas to take to CA for military training. I was shocked when I was quoted over $1200 for the same trailer to take from CA to AR when returning from training. I have never seen such a ridiculous inflation in my life. I understand supply and demand but this much of a cost increase is insane. I've never had a problem with Uhaul in the past but this experience has made me question whether or not I will use this company in the future. I highly recommend that Uhaul figure out another way to reposition trucks and trailers instead of passing such exorbitant costs onto the consumer.

Even during the return of the truck myself and several other customers were waiting patiently but for a long time for her to come out. She wasn't helping someone inside due to another customer had to go inside to get her and even when coming out there was no sense of urgency to help us and it was very cold outside

He painstakingly worked on releasing my car from the car towing device longer than he should’ve had to, as the chain didn’t have much slack. He is clearly dedicated to his position there at U-Haul = pleasant, courteous & professional. As he was walking in front of me to unlock the U-Haul lock off my storage unit…I noticed Ed reaching down and pulling out a weed. I was impressed. Thank you for everything.
