The lock on the passenger door didn't seem to work and I let the guy know when I returned it. He said the passenger doors are difficult to work. If this is the case, it would be helpful to tell how to use them when they are picked up.

The Uhaul app needs a lot of work on the fluidity of the users experience. It constantly would hang with just a spinning progress wheel. This happened both with picking up and dropping off. Something more than likely was missed because of this. The app hung so long I decided to just drop my keys off since I thought I was done checking the truck back in. Then when I got in my car it finally kicked over to another screen asking for photos of the truck. Well I couldn't open the doors as they were locked and I couldn't get the keys back at that point. The worker there said they had many issues with the app as well.
Robert CGreat service. Don’t change.
dan cThis location is next to train tracks which are frequently blocked for long periods of time. Not U Haul's fault but it's a fact. The line was fairly long. This location seems rather understaffed. The price is twice what I would have paid at Tractor Supply. I will not rent here again and recommend others don't, either. It was a hassle.
Christoph SRob Frost was a great help in getting me what I needed quickly and efficiently and friendly. Great Employee Hot Day But He Still Had A Great Attitude and Friendly. Hard to find those qualities in a lot of businesses today. Thanks Again
Dennis KWonderful, wonderful experience. I WILL be renting from this location again! Thank you.
Robert PThe staff traded off a couple times and kept running outside to check on something - I'm sure it had to do with 'is this truck available/accessible' since there were a lot of big vehicles moving around on their lot, but it would have been helpful if they kept us in the loop about whatever was going on. In the end, we still got our truck, just with a little more time spent waiting around for it than expected
Teresa JStaff was great, drop off was quick and easy.
Thomas LPlease Improve On The Maintenance Of The Trucks And The Wait Time To Be Seen. It Took Me 1 Hour And 30 Min To Get A U-Haul Under Reservation.
Anthony MVery nice STAFF
DAVID AI received excellent service at the sharonville ohio location. I’d use them again anytime i need services like these. Robert Frost was easy to work with and his crack staff (im not kidding) took great care to make it easy. Thank you. .
David WRob and Kathleen were very helpful! I would rent from the Sharonville location again!!!
Ruby B | Overall ExperienceNothing really. Since I returned it after hours, I left the blankets in the trailer
Keith ICheck to make sure other U-Haul locations have not transferred your reservation daily because mine was transferred twice to locations miles away from where I stopped in and made reservations.
NOLAN GThe fact that my pickup location was changed 3 times was not a good and I really think some refunded is warranted for the loss of time and problems. The lady, KAthleen (i think) was great to deal with. excellent customer service!
Garry HJustin was GREAT! I had reserved a truck from budget 31/2 months ago to move my daughter out of her college house. On Friday of graduation.weekend they called me and told me they would not have a truck for me on Monday and for me to call a different company. I reserved on UHaul. While I had to change locations and U-Haul told me they only had a 20Ft truck, once I got to the location Justin was able to offer me a 5x8 trailer which worked out GREAt. I was so thankful and his customer service was awesome! He hooked it up and made sure all was good!
Angela HTyler and Maya was friendly and helpful.
CLARENCE MWell done and nice looking remodeled facility! Everything was easy and seamless
Ben MI was in a time crunch, the manager there took care of us. Not sure what happened that day but he was too slow finding the right truck for us. There were few other people behind us in line and they kept interrupting our checking out process.
Ibrahima BHad a prob and crew took care right a way. Need more counter personell.
Marc BEmployees were not engaged, seemed disinterested and looked dirty
Robert MEverything was good except the check in process is slow. The staff was great, but a line quickly forms because the process is so cumbersome. I tried using the app to check in but it was not working properly. It also was not working properly when I dropped off the truck. Also $1 a mile is expensive for a pick-up.
Thomas HThe trailer was clean and working properly, the only problem I had was the lack of personnel to assist me. When picking up and dropping off there was no one at the counter, I and other customers had to track down an employee to help us.
Robert HEveryone is professional and friendly
DOUGLAS L | First ImpressionsLoved the easy access in and out. The dolly’s that they provide helped make moving in and out a breeze.
Erin F | Overall ExperienceNo suggestions it was a great experience. The associate I dealt with was A+.
DAVID BEasy to get in and out of lot. Many sized rentals to choose from.
Dorothy SVery nice professional
DWAIN ADrop off location
Steven LHave one more staff to accelerate the process and reduce waiting time. Robe the general manager was fantastic and very helpful.
Ramy YStaff was extremely courteous and helpful.
MICHAEL W | First ImpressionsWait times were long. The trailer I rented had taillight & running lights that were NOT working
Charles Struck needed some shocks/springs, very rough ride
Terry MCustomer service was excellent!!
Robert CStaff that was present was absolutely fantastic. There did not seem to be enough to accommodate the morning rush.
Brandon MThe crew there was wonderful!
KHYLA N | First ImpressionsI had two blowouts on my trailer which caused me to be 6 hours late. Too late to get in the hotel I had reserved for me and my 3 large dogs. The delay was due to th the tires being old It made me too late to get to hotel and I had to sleeo with my dogs in the back of my automobile. They obviously don't maintain their equipment. I personally think I'm do a refund in fact corporate when I was online with their emergency guy said that y'all would could refund it but I ain't seen anything show up yet.
Salane KThe wait in line both to pick up and to drop off was way to long both times only one person at the counter is room for three
Paul Ethe ride was not smooth at all
Mary BA little better instruction on where to drop off the truck would be helpful. Since this location has changed its workflow in recent months, it was confusing as to where I should drop off the truck. Maybe add some signage. But, overall we had a good experience and the rental truck was quality. Thanks!
Patrick LI received amazing customer service, especially on the phone with repeated changes on my part.
Brett DThis would be a big help you could allow ur customers unlimited access to their storage other than that the service and the people were awesome
Robert JGet your app to working. And get more people to answer the phone. I was on hold for 25 minutes before anybody ever answered my call to help me try to get my trailer checked in for return. Also. The links on the web. uhaul.com return does not work. It only takes you to the U-haul page, not the return page. You have to then search for the return page. This process is totally unacceptable.
William LTruck was dirty and smelled like marijuana. Location is a dirty maze and staff was not interested in helping customers. Would go to a different location.
JAMES MHad a one hour round-trip drive to pick up and drop off this trailer. I really wish something was available closer.
BENJAMIN BOverall really poor experience and very disappointed. We were moved to another location and then showed up to be moved again back to original location. If that was all, we wouldn’t have been too bothered. However, after retuning, the same day, we were charged a total of 3 day bill. When we called to question, the person noted they would need to review the cameras. It’s been a day and a half and 2 phone follow ups with no response or rectification. I’m really disappointed with our experience and cannot say I’ll be back.
Corey FExcellent customer service folks that I called while in Knoxville prior to drop off. So thankful for their help to find the best location.
Albert BI had a disappointing experience with this location. It seems like they are consistently understaffed, leading to long wait times every time I visit. Furthermore, the appliance dolly I had reserved was unavailable, and they couldn't provide one. This forced me to travel to another location to find one, which significantly increased my mileage and fuel costs for the rental. To make matters worse, the van I was provided was handed over with the engine already running. While I understand they might be trying to be helpful, this is not the right way to handle a vehicle, especially considering that I am the one responsible for the fuel costs. I hope they improve their management and service quality.
yohei iSharonville outlet, though new, is disorganized. Needs signage on where to do returns etc.
David KGet more help in the store
Sharon WGreat job to both U-Haul facilities. Both pick up and return were a breeze. Thank you,
patrick rThe strap ratchets on both sides were extremely difficult to tighten and release.
paul jChecking in and dropping off on line was easy. The only issue I had was that the fuel level was empty when I picked it up.
Deborah FRob Frost was very helpful, professional and made our experience excellent!
Charles MIt was dusty. There were bugs. All my things were covered in sawdust dust. Ty
CHELSEA S | Overall ExperienceI had an awesome experience. I say change nothing . Hours of operation was longer than others , truck availability was great ; and person behind the counter was friendly and hopeful!
MARK PVery helpful in getting me setup. Even loaned me a drop hitch because mine was too tall. Went above and beyond!
Nick SNot try to shift rental locations the day before the rental.
William GAll 3 guys working that morning were very upbeat and friendly. They displayed a sense of urgency to help me get on my way with the rented equipment.
David EWindshield needs cleaning- outside and inside
Joseph FPeople late. Opened at 7 Manager there alone. Others showed up 10 or 15 minutes later. 5 people in line.
vince R- after going through the mobile check-in process, the key compartment wouldn’t open and I had to stand in line for an attendant to check me in. - the check engine light was on. - the truck had less than a quarter tank of gas, so I had to add gas twice: immediately after renting to ensure I could complete my trip and again at the end of my rental to bring the tank up to the level I rented it at.
James FWhen you need it, THIS location has the right equipment and people to help you get the job done. Every time.
Brad WYou need a desk person & to train on how to manage multiple customers, a line and phone at same time. Stood in line for 30 minutes for a representative to come & help people. That is to just start the process of helping ppl in line. Took a total of 45 minutes to finally get my keys for a reservation already placed. When returning, stood waiting for the person at the desk who was on the phone to even acknowledge me just to turn in my keys. Another representative finally walked in to advise I can leave keys in truck if email receipt would suffice. If I had know that option at check in I would have done that. The phone app never works for checking or checkout. This is a great location for vehicles but understaffed and under trained. Should not take that kong to check in/out, especially if a customer has a reservation.
Rachael SThis U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sharonville in the Cincinnati OH area is bar far the worst location in customer service and the rudest, nastiest and most negative experience I’ve had with any staff from any U-Haul that I’ve done business with, which says a lot considering I have rented numerous trucks, personal storage space, RV storage space, etc. from coast to coast from this company; even purchased one of their 17’ box trucks from one of their Indianapolis IN locations two years ago in April 2024. It’s hard to even find where to even begin with all the issues that this location has that obviously frustrates and discourages their staff; in my experience this location frustrates their staff to the point of cursing at their customers for no good reason at all. However, I’ll sum it up to only three negative attributes that I personally experienced from this location on 04/07/26-04/08/26: 1st on 04/07/26 when I picked up my auto transport Maylia B assisted me and because their system was not up-to-date, she was not able to find my reservation that I previously made where I clearly outlined the towing vehicle and vehicle to be towed. As I tried to explain the two vehicles, that I had already submitted online for my reservation by the way, Maylia clearly showed confusion agitation to which vehicle was which. Nothing to get upset over, just relax, listen to what I am telling you and use reasoning to comprehend if it makes sense or not. It reasonably/logically doesn’t make sense for a 2014 Jeep Cherokee to tow a 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van 3500 Leisure Travel RV w/170in wheel base on an auto transport, use a little logic and you will realize it’s the other way around. However, apparently getting snippy with me about what vehicle she was talking about was more appropriate than reasoning. 2nd After Maylia figured out which auto transport to have me back up to, she proceeded to have me unnecessarily move back and forward several (that’s right, not one, two or even three, but several) times with my hitch receiver to properly line up the ball with the auto transport coupler. In the process of slowly moving back and forward several many times, there were two occasions where I heard/felt the back of my RV hit the coupler, in which she giggled about after bringing it up to me when I finally got connected. Not that I really cared about my RV making contact with the coupler as it has numerous dents/dings from previous contact that I’ve made to other trailer couplers under many previous instances. However, Maylia giggling about it in a nonchalant manor wasn’t appropriate. 3rd The final and worst experience that I had with list location. Upon returning the auto transport with my 2014 Jeep Cherokee there is no clear “drop-off” area at this Sharonville location. Therefore, I proceeded inside where I was assisted with on of the rudest nasties U-Haul employees that I’ve ever dealt with. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but to describe his physical appearance he was a younger (probably early-mid 20’s) 5-10’ to 6’-0’ thin man with dirty blonde hair. I’ll refer to him as the “rude dirty-blonde young man” for the remainder of this review. After informing me to drop off the auto transport at the far north end of the lot, the rude dirty-blonde young man instructed me to back the auto transport into a space that he made by moving a small cargo trailer out of the way by hand. As the space was very tight to back in (even with my smaller Jeep) I got somewhat close the open space but was still a bit cock-eyed to complete the turn. The rude dirty-blonde young man then yelled for me to stop, which I did, then he told me that he just drop the auto transport here, which he did and I slightly moved up upon his instruction. Then as he used a tow dolly (that proved too small for the job) to grab the auto transport the rude dirty-blonde young man struggled for several seconds trying to push the auto transport back into the space. I offered my help and he pointed to the tongue of the auto transport and instructed me to push on the trailer. As I proceeded to grab the awkward tongue of the trailer that had no picking point, I attempted to push-pull on the auto transport to assist the rude dirty-blonde young man. The rude dirty-blonde young man then rudely yelled at me to “push, not pull”. I then explained to him that there is no good picking point for me to grab onto the auto transport to assist him. Additionally, I told him that this location does not have the proper facility setup to return equipment in a safe manor as the working space it restricted and that I barely have enough room for my small Jeep to turn around. After I said that the rude dirty-blonde young man then just dropped the auto transport where is was and asked me if an emailed receipt was OK. I informed him that I would prefer a printed copy. The rude dirty-blonde young man then clearly showed additional frustration taking his anger out on me by yelling at me to move my Jeep out of the way, which I carefully proceeded to do without argument in the tight space to maneuver while he was moving in attempt to grab and move the auto transport with the tow dolly into the same space for a 2nd time. While the rude dirty-blonde young man struggled and finally pushed the auto transport back into place, he curse at me where I could clearly hear him stating “Now I gotta go walk all the way back and get your f**king receipt since you want a f**king paper copy and aren’t happy with a email”. Now that’s the straw that broke the camel’s back. I didn’t care about any of the other negative experiences up to this point, however when the rude dirty-blonde young man used profanity, and the F-word at that, towards me, it took all the self-discipline that I had to keep me from getting out of my vehicle and punching this kid in the face for speaking to me like that or even just retorting some curse words back at him. I don’t care what’s going with you or in your day, as an employee in a well established business working with a customer, you don’t talk to anybody, let alone the customers like, that. I proceeded to the U-Haul office where the rude dirty-blonde young man printed out my receipt and asked me if there was anything wrong with the equipment, which I stated “no” before I took the receipt and got out of there as fast as possible without blowing up on that place. I tried to call the General Manager Robert Frost at the number on his business card, however the phone just continued to ring with no answer. Therefore, I am writing this review to capture all the explicit detail about this location that I experience in hopes that someone reads it in time before the suffer the same fate at this horribly managed location. So, for anybody who took the time to read all this, this is a warning, beware of this Sharonville U-Haul location. In addition to all the access/facility defects you will likely encounter very rude, incompetent, nasty staff that will treat you like dirt. I hope no-one else has to go through a horrible experience like this with any U-Haul, every other U-Haul location that I have done business with has been professional, honest and a pleasure, but this location is an exception. P.S. I hope corporate sees this review, actually acknowledges who I am as a loyal customer (contract # 23520204), and attempts to at least review the staffing and facility deficiencies at this Sharonville location.
John MI went in and made my rental reservation in person at the Colerain Ave store on 3/30/2026. While there the staff was way to interested in making sure I knew they had their own moving business. I wasn't moving, I made a reservation for a car hauler so it was weird. Then a few hours before my pick up time on 4/3/2026 I get a call saying they need to talk to me about my reservation. When I call them back it's a bunch of ummmm I don't know what they wanted what did the message say (it said to call you) & ummmm we don't know why's they said that. Finally I get told I had to go to Reading Rd to pick up my reservation. No one can tell me why and no one was particularly friendly about it. Since it's a couple hours before I'm supposed to leave, I'm stuck. So I drove across town to Reading Rd, where they told me they also didn't have the type of trailer I had reserved. Then suddenly they do. I ask if they know why the Colerain store would take my reservation but then suddenly not have the equipment and was told I don't know, I don't work at that store. I asked if I can at least return the trailer to Colerain Ave store and I'm told sure for 3x the original price quoted. Again, no apologies or explanation just to bad, so sad. No one told me the store would be closed when I came to return the trailer or where to leave it. No one told me I could check in the trailer through the app, I had to figure it out myself. Cause I don't have time to do it the following day with the store open, also it's apparently an up charge to have a human help you. While this was highlighted on my paperwork it would have been nice to have been told. Just an over all disappointing experience from both locations.
krista dNot to close 5min before it's time to close because I made it back 5min before the closing time and wasn't able to get in to drop off
courtney fThe staff fit me into their schedule and installed an electric line for my hitch in a couple of hours.
CRAIG WHelpful and friendly staff. Malia got me set up with everything I needed to move some furniture pieces.
CLAIRE HFrom checking in, to the last, "Have a great day" everything and everyone was Great. I enjoyed everyone. When I encountered a problem, with my unit (no faith of u-haul) everyone from u-haul stepped in to help resolve the issue from Rob, Steve, Michael, and the front lady...(her name, slipped my mind". But everyone was great. It was the Red Carpet experience... Michael Johnson...
Michael J | First ImpressionsThe folks were helpful—when they were present. I was def displeased by the waiting for service. No one seems cross-trained. AND: the reserve to acquire UBox disappeared and I couldn’t be helped. 😠
