Light cover in trailer and reflector cover in cab fell off. Other than that the trucks were well maintained.

This location was fine and the equipment was fine. The problem is the U-Haul website will allow you to book trucks at a specific location only to find out the next day they do not nor do they expect to have that truck and they want you to drive 20 miles away. If I ordered a pizza and went to pick it up and they made me drive 20 miles away they would eventually Close their doors. If I ordered something online to go in a store and pick it up and they never intended on having it and made me drive 20 miles away they would be out of business. If I booked a hotel room only to find out upon arrival, that they never had a room and wanted me to drive 20 miles away they would be out of business. U-Haul takes people that have no other options and allows them to book trucks they never intend to have at certain locations. Call Penske, budget, enterprise… And don’t be disappointed or taken advantage of

Mark Strong who works at this location came to work just as I was arriving, he parked in an area that I saw as a clear exit and when I asked him to not park there he said that was not an exit and my wife could squeeze through anyway. He then continued to be short rude and abrupt to me. Nick handled the check out and did a good job. Matthew checked me in at the end and did a good job. The truck was OK. You should have tracking apparatus on all your vehicles, and a lock on the tank. A second key should be offered to the customer in case one is locked inside. There was NO offer or help in getting acquainted with the truck at pickup and I had difficulty finding it in the lot, in spite of Nick's directions to it. In the future I will compare with other options more before just going with U-Haul.

When I reserved my truck online I picked a location two blocks from my pick up site. When I arrived to pick up the truck, they told me my pickup wasn’t there. It was 5 miles down the road. This almost made me miss my pick up time as it added 45 minutes to my time. Then, after loading the truck, which took 45 minutes, the battery was dead, as it very cold outside. I had to go buy jumper cables to get the truck started. This was not a pleasant experience.

We rent the trucks/van to deliver large amounts of supplies to animal rescues/shelters every year. This location has always been great. Their equipment is always clean and we'll maintained plus the staff is very friendly.

Maybe remind the guy who was the manager Sunday AM that as a CUSTOMER, it was not I who screwed up and gave the customer the wrong truck and wrong keys. I had figured out the space I needed. It did not include the area taken up by a dolly and blankets I did not order. This manager proceeded to become irate with me when I declined the truck after discovering that if I moved the dolly it would cost me $40. He was angry at me for something I did not do. He proceeded to tell me I held other customers up when I had nothing to do with the wrong truck.

Mark of fuel level is not correct. That guy in reading road said that he made correction. But I had some trouble by returning a truck. I said I’m not responsible for that. Fuel level was more than the line that that guy marked with initial.

Whether you sign up on-line(which I tried without success) or you drive up, it still takes way too much time to rent a trailer. Especially that I have rented trailers regularly over eight years it still takes the same amount of time.

Terrible service. Terrible people. Said the truck was full, needle on full line. I drove 20 miles and put 7.6 gallons of gas. Obviously not full. :"Manager" said it should have been explained not to "overfill it." I asked for a mileage credit they said the couldn't do it because "I could have just put that gas in my car." Basically implied I was a criminal. Rudely told me "full is full." I just handed them $20 in free gas. How many times a day does this happen. Total scam and calling me the criminal. Had a buddy with me who was stunned at the rudeness.

'Thank you for your business' is a perennial favorite of mine. No thank you at the start and not a 'thank you' when I returned the vehicle. I noticed a Budget rental truck place down the street from this UHaul facility. Maybe they use 'please and thank you' there. Oh well...

My only complaint is that the radio went out half way through my drive. It was working, then it stopped working suddenly. No idea why. Wouldn't play from the aux input nor tune a station. Makes for a long drive.

Exit blocked by parked vehicles, thought maybe just one of those things at first but this happened for the 6th time , we had to back out quite a ways alongside several other vehicles to exit from the entry.

Tell customers at the time of reservation that lf they are late arriving their time of rental could be cut short. My appointment was at 9:00 am but because of traffic I was 30 minutes late. So my Rental Time was cut short, I was not told this at the time of scheduling . When I asked the Representative at the location since I was picking the vehicle up late if I could return it 4 hours from that time I was told No because someone one had rented it after me and the Truck had to be back by that time. After being told if I didn’t take the vehicle I would have to come back another day which was not an option I took the Truck for less time . Look I understand you book these Trucks by appointments so individuals are reliaing upon customers to return them during the allotted time. However mention this at the time of scheduling not when the client is at the counter, and you tell them there only recourse is to take it or leave !
