The app didn’t work for self check in at drop off location. Called the one number U-Haul provides - had to speak with three different people to work around app’s non-performance issues. I lost an hour of moving time which would have been better spent on moving - instead was stuck on the phone. Fix the app! Both locations and staff were fine. App gets poor scores. You conveniently didn’t survey users about using the app. How convenient!

I picked personal check in myself then it was changed to mobile only as I found out and I had to download the app and that took way too long on location. The two employees I encountered there were not exactly friendly. I would recommend just avoiding this location altogether.

Richard AI noticed there are no questions about the app.. The app you have to use to return the truck is TERRIBLE. Both times we rented a van this week we were unable to use the app without help from either the person at the counter or the 1-800 hep line. Lots of error messages that prevented us from proceeding with check out. You need to get someone to reprogram the app so that it works. Everyone I know who has returned the a UHaul truck says the same thing-- the app is terrible.
ELLEN MIt’s not a problem of this location, just in general we were so frustrated by the pressure to do everything through phones - multiple times we had issues or questions that were very easily resolved by talking with the desk agent. It would be so much easier to just have the option of working directly with a human person instead of being required to do it the “automatic” way.

Since I didn’t see a section for feedback on the vehicle I’ll add that the radio in the truck had Bluetooth but was locked out from adding any devices so I couldn’t connect to it. 4 hours across Central PA is a long trip without radio (and stations few and far between) so it would have been nice to be able to connect to the Bluetooth.
Mike ROverall, my experience was mixed. On one end, receiving my U-Haul truck was a quick process. On the other, I had a horrible experience because Timothy, I believe the manager, attached my car improperly. When I arrived at my home 8 miles away to put the final touches on my move, both car straps had come off. Therefore, I called the U-Haul service line so that they could contact another U-Haul representative, Bubba, to reattach it for my ride south to Charlottesville, VA. Timothy's error caused me to lose time trying to receive my keys to move into my apartment. I want a refund of the $100 I spent on my Car-transport fee.

WILLIAM LEveryone I interacted with at U-Haul was professional and helpful. The pick up and delivery were easy to schedule and modify according to changes in time needed to load and unload. The only thing I might suggest is to provide some extra protection where screws and mounts stick out on the interior of the box. I taped cardboard over them where they might rub furniture.

Martha JEverything was fine. I parked the truck by all of the others and followed the in app instructions. I went to put the key in the drop box and one of the workers yelled at me for parking the truck in the wrong spot even though I did the mobile pick up and drop off. Maybe some more clear instructions when returning to this location from another one. I dropped it off during business hours rather than waiting for the scheduled drop off.

James PTh A/C went out on the truck I had. I told the associate about it when I turned it back in. He fiddled with it and got it to work and then says it’s just fine. I shouldn’t have to fiddle with it trying to get it to work. And a guarantee you that he didn’t put in any kind of work order to fix it for the next person.

THOMAS BEveryone I worked with, from the customer service reps to the delivery person, were very friendly and helpful. I had one small issue along the way and it was taken care of immediately. Overall I am very pleased with my U Box experience! My move was huge, PA to NV, a total of 2500 miles and my stuff showed up way earlier than the estimated travel time and was stored safely until I was ready to unload. All my items made it intact! The Delivery Help provided by Uhaul was awesome, they took care of everything regarding my delivery and unloading. I'd like to personally thank Jeffrey from Benner Pike for dropping my boxes off and being awesome with follow up, and Embree and Pete from Positive Impact Solutions for my delivery unloading, you guys made things so easy for me, I appreciate that considering how big and stressful this move was!!
