The location and equipment is fine but the app is horrible, it doesn't work and needs work. It is so bad that the person at the counter ended up having to manually complete the transaction.

DAVID AOut of all the locations I've used U-Hauls, this location is easily the best one. Good selection of packing products, friendly staff, the equipment was in good condition, and the entire process was easy and fast.
Desiree KThe mandated use of an app is awful. I have so many apps/passwords that it's hard to keep track of them. I understand you are working to cut labor costs, but you are sacrificing customer service. I would gladly go anywhere else to rent a truck than U-Haul now that you have to do all the work yourself. You have to check in, take pics, pay on the app. Awful.

TERESA KWhen I picked up the truck it was positioned in muddy spot. It was dark so I stepped into mud and sunk about 1-2 inches before getting up into cab. The trailer location was about 10-15 minute drive away and a little difficult finding where to go I totally.

John WYeah, no problem with the vehicle and it made it to my destination, I returned it in good working order and a thank U-Haul for letting me rent it in such a short notice and the customer representative was very nice and thank you again

laela nThe website had a glitch, so I went in to the store to book the pickup for a few hours. I was thankful they were able to help. I felt like a bother to the owner, but the other worker was quite pleasant.
RENAE EWasn't the location I specified in my rental, requiring ~18 miles more driving. Not a huge deal, but if I specify a location on the website and the website effectively says "sure, we'll have a truck you want waiting for you there," it seems like the company might ought to follow through.

THOMAS JThe gentleman was incredibly rude and yelled at me because I didn’t understand where he wanted me to park. I’ve never been treated so unprofessionally. While I am moving to the State College area and need storage and possibly a rental in the future, I have no plans to return to this location. U-Haul should be embarrassed by how I was treated.
Corey MMoving can be stressful no matter how organized you are. Uhaul entire process from Reservation to Pick Up to Return made that entire process easy. Like a family member helping out is how I'd describe it.

Linda EMy experience with U-Haul UBox was fantastic! From reservation to pickup and dropoff, everything was efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend UBox for others. It seems like they have been upgraded from the tarp-covered boxes, to solid steel, and I think that is an improvement.
Lisa BTook almost 20 min for an employee to be located. Once explaining I had no order showing on the app, the employee kept acting as if I wasn’t doing something right. In the end the same employee had to manually fill the order so I could drive off. In total spend 1hr trying to pick up a U-Haul made me wonder what the appointment time was for.

DONALD AThe trailer was ready and was hooked up by the agent, the plugs were very tight fit because of the cold, , was easy .. the return was on time but very ridged on 24 hours and not flexible( this could be better if extra time in needed ) The return agent was very helpful and quickly in processed trailer. I did return the trailer in the app
JOHN ESimplify the rental of non-truck equipment. It's ridiculous to have to upload a drivers license to rent an appliance dolly. Person at this site was courteous, helpful and prompt as could be given the traffic at the time.

James WI didn’t put that many miles and this charge is ridiculous. I’ll never use U-Haul again. I should have taken a picture. Funny I made the same trip 3 days before for 137. Do it again with a smaller truck and you charged me this… crazy huh?

Amy MThe customer service was absolutely horrible I got a phone call after returning the U-Haul that I should have called when I didn’t receive my moving dolly’s I requested and they couldn’t take it off the bill as if it was my fault they didn’t give it to me I was focused on moving before it rained the gentleman was so rude who I talked to as if he was irritated about having to do his job I got charged an outrageous amount I’m not sure how my bill came to 127.00 when I brought the U-Haul back with more gas then I started with mileage was less then the 30 I purchased I’m not sure if I will be using this location again until you get better staff or nicer staff

DAVID ATaking the pictures for pickup was somewhat troublesome. Had to move to a business driveway in order to take pics. It would be nice to start with at least half a tank. Not knowing what kind of mileage you will get puts the customer in a tough spot

John KWe did notice the right wheels of the trailer wobbled at speeds between 45 and 55 MPH. The trailer should be repaired.
MICHAEL GThe employees were unkind and irritated towards us for simply returning our truck. They said comments under their breath that made us feel very uncomfortable. My last experience with u-haul resulted in multiple items being ruined because they gave us a faulty truck. and the person working at the pick up location said racial slurs. Had i not received this diagnosis and been in such a hurry to move, i would not have given u-haul another chance. but after this experience, i certainly will never be giving this company any more of my time.

BENJAMIN CCab was dirty. Front end had unacceptable amount of play in the steering. Ok for local but a deathtrap at highway or interstate speeds. An awful rental experience!

KATHERINE WI was appalled by the checkout process for picking up a 1-day rental cargo van. The U-Haul app is ridiculous. It is not user friendly. It added at least 1/2 hour to my schedule for the day. This is totally unacceptable and will cause me to think twice (if not more) before I rent another vehicle from U-Haul. Ditch the app, please!

Randy PThe app is not user-friendly at all. Renting equipment is not a frequent experience for most people and you shouldn't have to download an app to do so. The staff at the store can't intervene, you must use the app. Waited forever to get "approved" and overall made it a frustrating process.
Michael HMy son packed my items and loaded the ubox. They brought the box when requested, they picked it up when we asked. They drove my ubox to their closest facility to my home in Pennsylvania.
