i do not live on line. I want to deal in person. i want a paper receipt. milage was terrible, the doors locked every time i got out. it said i had a door open and flat tires. i stopped 3 times and checked. windshield was dirty.

Mostly I'd say I was pleased with the staff and equipment. The only misunderstanding (and maybe it was my fault), was that I had been led to believe that my rental included a pull-out ramp to access the cargo area. It was only when I returned the equipment that I was told that the unit I rented did not have a ramp (and never has had a ramp). Not that I didn't already know that! lol

I was supposed to drop off on atherton st. Upon return, had to drive 12 miles and 20 minutes out of my way to avoid wrong drop off fee. The reservation and app experience has decreased significantly. Glitchy check in. Poor clarity for one way rentals. Disappointed overall.

New toy hauler trailer is a nice setup but It’s a little pricey compared to the other trailers.

I needed moving supplies and came to this location a few times. The service was excellent. Helped bring the items to my car, friendly.

The truck was very old more than 125k miles, check engine light was on most of the time. The gear shifts were difficult.

I picked up my rental on a Friday around 4:30. I asked specifically what time they closed on Saturday because I knew we had to move a couch later in the day. I was told 7. I said no problem it would be back by then. I returned the trailer at 6:15 and they charged me for a 2 day rental. If I knew they were going to do that I could have picked the trailer up on Friday later or got the trailer back in time. But I was told I had until 7.

The inside of the cab was very dirty. I had to clean it myself before travel.

Everything was fine with one exception. All the windows and mirrors were quite dirty. I had to stop at a gas station and clean them, so that I could see the side mirrors clearly.

Checking in without sufficient memory on my phone was impossible. A U-haul worker took pity on me and used his own phone to sign me in. The truck I was given had nearly 130,000 miles on it, and had a shimmy in the steering. The back of the truck was not swept - lots of dirt and debris in the back. This used to be a very easy, friendly, and quality experience. Now it's just average.

People were great to work with, but you app sucks to be honest. Hard to use. It would not accept any pictures. The people behind the counter did not speak highly of the app either. Too hard to use and too hard to rent a vehicle with it.

Overall u-Haul, and its employees were above satisfactory and helped me in every step of this. The third-party moving service U-Haul provided was, however, beyond frustrating. They showed up late, moved very little in comparison to myself. They were here for a little under an hour and seemed to have more of an interest in the stuff I was moving rather than helping me move. I feel like I could have paid my family that money and not strangers who took advantage of me:/

You don't need to do anything to improve this specific location. The staff are tremendous and the vehicles are well maintained. Regarding the U-haul app? The portion where photos need to be uploaded has to be redone. It never works. The staff have to give me some "special link" that will allow it to work. You can reach out directly if you want more information on what I mean, but I'm sure you've received enough feedback about that portion of the app and are aware of the issue.

The gentlemen, who was there when I dropped the trailer off, found the broken wire on the trailer and told me that is why it blew fuse in my truck He even investigated and fixed the fuse in my truck for me

Out of all the locations I've used U-Hauls, this location is easily the best one. Good selection of packing products, friendly staff, the equipment was in good condition, and the entire process was easy and fast.

The mandated use of an app is awful. I have so many apps/passwords that it's hard to keep track of them. I understand you are working to cut labor costs, but you are sacrificing customer service. I would gladly go anywhere else to rent a truck than U-Haul now that you have to do all the work yourself. You have to check in, take pics, pay on the app. Awful.

When I picked up the truck it was positioned in muddy spot. It was dark so I stepped into mud and sunk about 1-2 inches before getting up into cab. The trailer location was about 10-15 minute drive away and a little difficult finding where to go I totally.

Yeah, no problem with the vehicle and it made it to my destination, I returned it in good working order and a thank U-Haul for letting me rent it in such a short notice and the customer representative was very nice and thank you again

It's wonderful serivce with helpful staff. I think it will be great to also provide driver option for those who do not have drivers license or for international students who could not drive.

The website had a glitch, so I went in to the store to book the pickup for a few hours. I was thankful they were able to help. I felt like a bother to the owner, but the other worker was quite pleasant.

Wasn't the location I specified in my rental, requiring ~18 miles more driving. Not a huge deal, but if I specify a location on the website and the website effectively says "sure, we'll have a truck you want waiting for you there," it seems like the company might ought to follow through.

The gentleman was incredibly rude and yelled at me because I didn’t understand where he wanted me to park. I’ve never been treated so unprofessionally. While I am moving to the State College area and need storage and possibly a rental in the future, I have no plans to return to this location. U-Haul should be embarrassed by how I was treated.

Moving can be stressful no matter how organized you are. Uhaul entire process from Reservation to Pick Up to Return made that entire process easy. Like a family member helping out is how I'd describe it.

The size of truck I reserved was not available, despite making the reservation a month and a half ahead of my moving date. They set us up with a larger truck for no extra charge, which was appreciated, but I would've preferred to have the truck available that I reserved.

My son packed my items and loaded the ubox. They brought the box when requested, they picked it up when we asked. They drove my ubox to their closest facility to my home in Pennsylvania.

You owe me $79.50. I ordered a box July-Aug 10. It was delivered, emptied, and returned. Now you think the empty box is full and charge me. Idiots. I will be calling again to get this fixed.

The UHaul model of farming out phone service was a bit of an issue I could rarely get through to the local office always talking to someone at corporate, some mixed signals but everything worked out.
