I went in person to the Lankershim & Victory location and gave my wishes. When I got the confirmation the reservation was all messed up. I ended up calling the Service Center and after being on hold for over 25 minutes I was able to get a new reservation but not at the location I wanted. Needless to say the Van Nuys facility seems to have it going on. The gal who helped me was on the spot and the yard man was helpful and even though very busy when I returned the auto transport he was still smiling and efficient. KUDOS to this location, even though its a bit out of the way for me, I won't be hoing to Lankershim cuz they can't get it right....even when you give them the information in person.FRANK B.

When I tryied reserving the trailer on line, the program would take me to a location near me, and then informed me "not available at this location" so I kept trying different locations and it would say the same thing. Why would the program allow the option of a location if it not available at that location? I called to reserve. It took too many steps to get to a live person. The live person was fine, however, I was uncomfortable giving credit card information over the phone. The worst part was arriving at the store. I arrived and there was a long line of people. There was one employee at the register, which seemed not enough especially during the Sunday morning rush hour. The employee didn't seem to be an in rush even though there was a line. When I finally did arrive, the check out process seemed slow. The same questions that I answered over the phone were being asked again. Also, it seemed odd for her to take a photo of my drivers license. The guy who hooked up the trailer was fast which was good. Also, the guy who removed the trailer was good and fast.SAMUEL A.

Bed of Truck was dirty when picked up. Did not apologize or offer any discount for dirty truck. The guy who checked in the truck was inattentive smoking from a vap pipe and talking to his co-workers while I stand there waiting for him to check the truck in.DARRYL S.

THE WORST U-Haul experience I have ever had with both locations I visited. I originally booked my reservation at U-Haul Moving & Storage of North Hills and they did NOT have the truck I reserved because according to the employee, they had "overbooked" that size/model. This was completely UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with this experience as they then sent me to a different location much further than my destination with did not have the size truck I rented either and I ended up with the larger truck which I did not want or need. Larger truck equals larger gas tank which means I ended up paying more for something I did NOT reserve which was extremely disappointing and ENRAGING. Not to mention, the actual truck was completely run down and filthy compared to U-Haul trucks I have rented in the past. THIS WAS THE WORST U-HAUL EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH U-HAUL IN THE FUTURE. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. A gentlemen outside of the U-Haul office offered his card for his personal pick-up trucks which he rents out and normally I would not do business with such a solicitor, however, this awful U-Haul experience has forced me to take my business elsewhere and I will be utilizing this man's service for my future truck rental needs. It's a good thing people like this hang around outside of the door at U-Haul locations, otherwise I might be stuck giving my money to U-Haul in the future. So thank you for this putrid experience as I shall give my business to the solicitor and no longer return to U-Haul.ROBERT M.

The truck wasn't ready with the correct dolly's that I ordered, and there were no pads available which I also reserved. It all got taken care of, and I appreciate it. I just think it should be ready as ordered when you reserve it a couple weeks ahead.jennifer R.

First its customer service with uhale that was bad I had to drive to 5 different locations to get a truck they had no idea which place actually had one made me go to different locations only to find there was no truck. They promised me a 50 dollar credit which I never got. Was on hold for 1 hour. Truck had some spray from the inside on the windshield which at night made seeing hard. My job was delayed for hours and could not finish in darkness ended up costing me more time and money. Worst experience I've had.GARNIK T.

There is no onsite parking so I had to walk through a questionable neighborhood. That's the fault of Los Angeles, not the business. But I wanted to make an awareness that to get here customers must go through a myriad of homeless, panhandlers, and hustlers asking if I'd rather hire them.Michael H.
I ordered a 26ft truck, I got a 20ft truck 10 miles out of my way. My move took an extra two days and cost twice as much in labor. Then I moved the rest myself the third day. You fucked my family! I'm still tired from the debacle. Honestly, I will never recommend or use Uhaul again. All your employees were pleasant and smiling while they stabbed me in my lower back. I can actually put the experience as average because my average experience with U-Haul is not good. Made reservations well in advance. Came in person few days before to confirm. Day of: Thursday, mar 11, not even a moving day. No furniture dolly, no windshield wiper fluid, key doesn't open padlock could not leave truck locked when turned in, only 1/4 tank gas cost me precious time to get fuel needed to drive to destination, truck needs new suspension, no 26' upgrade available, return feature online would not work.BONNIE B.

The truck was disgustingly filthy on the inside on pawn return my receipt was amount was different than I'm now being charged. The online pick up took way too long. I lost almost 45 minutes of the helpers I had hired because of it. My equipment was not ready. The lady that handed the keys to me was a bit rude at first. I think she was just taking on to much work for one person. She ended getting my equipment after I kindly complaint. Need to have more personnel at the location.Jose C.

Truck was leaking from the inside of the cabin luckily my cargo was well covered and no damage on top of that the windshield wiper came off during rain while I was on highway had to pull over and adjust in pouring rain technical support and help put us on a long hold by that point I had figured out what to do to fix it. Furniture blankets were dirty, with COVID going on this is not in compliance with any sanitary conditions. This needs to change ASAP. I was i formed the blankets are reused not washed etc. my daughter has medical conditions and is at risk due to the poor choices uhaul is making.
