The self check-in procedure when we returned was by far the worst experience during our 2-day rental. Your app would NOT recognize the location of my iPhone no matter what I did to enable location settings. I followed the app's directions to a â€œTâ€ multiple times and still couldn't get it to work. I called in, too p, and was transferred to wait a long time on hold. Meanwhile we switched to my husband's android phone and it recognized the location immediately but we had significant trouble taking the many photos requested because the app's interface for uploading these is not clear re how to do so. Very frustrating experience after two long and tiring days.Debra S.

I attempted several times to contact the store to try and extend my contract and no one answered the phone then I received a phone call telling me I was being charged an additional $50 because someone had the trailer reserved. The worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. I scheduled delivery of my uhaul boxes in excess of 2 weeks prior to delivery date. The day before my scheduled delivery date uhaul called to reschedule. I was suppose to be 5/14/2021 and the new date was 5/19/2021. I explained how this was unacceptable and was told sorry we will deliver on 5/19/2021. My attempts to communicate with a supervisor or management was unsuccessful. My calls were never returned. On 5/19/2021 my delivery window was noon to 2:00 pm. The deliver was late and my moving helpers had another job to go to, they left. I was stuck with 3 uhaul boxes to unpack. I'm still waiting on management to call and discuss what went wrong and how uhaul is going to correct my problems.Bruce Y.

There were two employees working this morning. They were very pleasant and kind, however they were very busy and I waited in line for over a hour. I needed truck for 8 hours, but website only offered six hour rental . I agreed for 9am pick up for 6 hour rental. I pulled away with truck at 1015am and was told it was due back at 3pm. I went from needing truck for 8 hours, only allowed 6 hours and ended with 4 hours and 45min. Sped back and had to stop to refill truck and returned at 315pm. Moved was half finished. I'm a easy going person, but the older I get (56) I want better service for money. Today was a total failure with your business I won't forget anytime soon. Thanks for nothing.BRIAN N.

Their system was down and I kept getting phone calls the next day that sounded very accusatory when they would ask me about where the truck was. Given that they had nearly 24 hours to process it (even with the system being down) I did not find this to be acceptable. When I dropped off the truck the guy who was supposed to check in my truck barely looked up from his phone. I asked him if we could do a walk around to make sure everything looked ok, he said it looked fine. I asked when I would get a confirmation email, he said â€œwhen it's doneâ€ without looking up from his phone. 3 hours passed by, and still no email. Mind you, I was the only customer there at the time of drop off and there was 2 employees. I called customer service, waited on hold for 40 minutes, and the nice lady on the phone was able to resend the email to me. Not a pleasant experience with the drop-off employee.Prabhjot B.

The website allowed me to make a reservation and select self checkout. When I arrived the system had crashed and I needed to see the on site worker. They informed me that the vans can't be self checkout despite the website allowing me to. I had to re enter all my information with the attendant. My reservation was at 9:30. After all the trouble I didn't checkout until 10:30 and the attendant said I still had to return the vehicle by 1:30 from my original reservation pick up time.GABRIEL H.

I rented a truck from 7pm to 1:50 pm and was told that I hit 1044 miles. but the shifts took money for 25 miles. I actually drove 44 miles. but the service wants to withdraw 44 miles from me and without remembering that they have already charged me 25 miles. ... I'm ready to pay the difference that I didn't pay 19mtl but still didn't get an answer. I spent my time went to the location where I took the car and only on the spot did I say that they wanted to blow me around and withdraw money from me in an unfair way. I had a reservation for 1130 to pick up a trailer. 2 ladies working. 1 cleaning the truck tells me to go inside to find 2nd lady. No one inside. I come back out and see 2nd lady starting to fill up propane tank. Proceeds to spend 20min doing that while the 1st lady ignores me instead of helping me. Reservation customers should be prioritized! Especially since both propane customer and I pulled up same time took her 5min to get me checked in and another 5 to hook me up. Total wait time for reservation AFTER arriving over 30minutes!! I remain unhappy that Uhaul requires me to drop off my 26' rentals to a store far away from my home, rather than the Uhaul location within walking distance of my house. It's always inconvenient and costly, but during these COVID times getting a ride in a taxi or Uber is best avoided.Stanton P.
