Found drug paraphernalia (foils, bags, needles, etc) in the back of the truck and clothing. Seems that people have access to the trucks and are using them for personal activities. Trucks should be checked before rented out! We didn't find the items until we were loading early in the morning, and didn't have time to return it or call the center.

Overall, expected experience for the price I paid. You get what you pay for. I visited the location a few times for my storage, and one of my employees is annoyingly incompetent. The main office was being renovated, so a bunch of customers were standing outside, and the incompetent employee walked by us a couple of times and never let us know we had to check-in at the garage, which would've saved the customers several minutes of waiting for nothing. To the employee's credit, how can you expect more out of him when his own management can't even make signs to tell customers where to go. Secondly, when I got unit 337, I saw that the vent had been ripped off with a screwdriver so that some junky could reach their hand in to grab stuff to steal and pawn for heroin. I was assured that the location's management would patch the vent up so that my storage unit would be secure. After storing my belongings at this location for almost two months, management never patched up the vent. Luckily, nothing was stolen.

Agent informed me that he couldn't change rental till the first. They gave me rental for 8 days. I'm a long haul cdl drive with a trucking company. Dot allows 14hrs a day per driver, I didn't use the whole 8 days and I was miss informed on the return policy. Got charged full amount…

Second time this location has not provided us with good service. This time, there was no one there at 7 am to pick up the trailer. The experience added an extra hour to our day. The GM finally came in, he did a good job getting us out of there.

The ability to do a self-checkout at the Burien location was a huge timesaver for us. We just pulled up, unhooked the trailer, followed the directions on the app, took a photo, and were done. I think we were in and out in 10 min or less. Best experience dropping off I've ever had.

After check in for a 10' truck for a 5 day long distance move, I went to the assigned truck and found several used tires and trash in the back. The agent apologized, of course, and went out to select a clean truck for my 1400 mile move. The truck selected was clean, however, 6 hours into my 20 he drive a warning message appeared to Service the Tire Monitor System, along with the low tire pressure light. Fortunately I was close to a town and found a uhaul agent. He sent me to a local tire shop to diagnose the issue and instructed me to call the 800 number if the truck needed immediate repair. I had the tire shop check tire pressure first (one low tire) and asked them to pull the tire to check for puncture. The tire was good, but they believed the obvious rust and wear on the apparently older mismatched rim contributed to intermittent air leak. They applied a bead sealant and recommended I recheck tire pressure if the warnings came back on. They believed the tire monitor sensors needed to be replaced, but as long as the tire held pressure the fully loaded truck was safe to drive. Long story short. The warning continued to come on and go off for the remainder of the 1000 mile drive. The tire held pressure for the remainder of the drive. Service replacement is needed for all tire pressure sensors. I reported all this to the receiving dealer upon completion of trip.

Lights to trailer were tested and did not work. The employee wiggled the wiring harness and said they work now you are good to go. The next morning we were ready to leave and no lights. We drove over to another Uhaul location where we had our hitch installed and where we hadexperienced great service. John quickly determined the problem and as he was unwrapping the tape to put on a new pigtail the ground wire literally fell off. He had us on our way within 20 minutes. He saved the day. John is John Stevens at Uhaul Storage of Othello 6403 MLK Jr Way S, Seattle WA 98118 That repair should have been done prior to us picking up the trailer.

Burien was the third pick up location, even though I reserved a truck 2 weeks in advance, 2 days before the move the pickup location was changed 20 miles away. Then within 12 hours, the pickup location was changed to Burien, even further away. I appreciated the traffic coordinators for adding included miles, but when I arrived in Burien for an 8am appointment, I discovered the location doesn't open until 9am. Plus, several of the trucks had been drained of gas, with jugs and siphon hoses laying about that did not seem to bother the u-haul workers a bit.

Don't like the smell of cleaner that's used to clean them.. It gives my daughter' asthma attacks. So I clean it with vinegar before allowing her to ride with me. But other than that they are clean and we'll maintained.

Truck battery was already dying when I picked it up. I had trouble locking it up that night. It kept saying key was missing though it was in my hand. The next morning, the truck would not unlock, I assumed it was the key fob. My husband went to three stores, before finding the battery needed. During this time, I could not reach the location directly, I ended up with 'customer service', I was told there was a, 30 minute guarantee for road side service, took more than an hour. I came out to the truck at 9 and the fleet repair came about 11. I wanted another truck, because I had people waiting on me. Customer service said I would need to contact the location, who I could not reach directly. Fleet repair, jumped the battery. I went to the location, there was a long line and no pickup trucks on site. I had not driven the truck long enough to recharge the battery, so I left it running as we loaded it, costing extra gasoline. This was a lack of maintenance and poor customer service from UHaul.

Customer service is atrocious. Associates do not approach you, you must seek them out. I was made to walk in the back of their warehouse to fetch a replacement for my broken dolly (the axle was held in place by a nail).

Have the staff answer the phones. They handed me the keys and let me go to find the truck on my own. Which ended up being parked behind another truck. I called 3 times to tell them to come move the other truck, and no answer. The key lock on the outside of the driver's door had clearly been broken before. The faceplate fell off when I unlocked the door after loading up the truck, and the key cylinder then stuck out of the door. So I couldn't lock the driver's side door any longer. When I dropped it off they said that someone had tried breaking into their trucks and several of the locks were weird. Why on earth did they then let this truck be rented out?! The two guys operating the facility were nice. They just need to answer the dang phone!

We rented this truck to be picked up at the Duwamish location, even received email notifications confirming this. The morning of, we were told the truck was in Burien. So we had rearrange our morning.

There was little to no communication between UHaul and the Pickup/Storage Centers. My truck broke down in the middle of transit (while full). Although there are about 20 UHaul locations within the same city, it took 4 hours (9am to 1pm) to resolve the broken truck issue. During those 4 hours, I was promised help transferring my load from the broken truck to a new truck (2 separate Uhaul agents said I would receive this help). After I was finally towed to a UHaul location and given a truck, there was no help in transferring my load, and the location had no idea what I was talking about. I ended up, unnloading and loading myself, and had to take another day off of work because of the additional time sink. I am requesting a full refund.

Customer service was terrible. I was given the keys to a rental but it was blocked in by another rental and the employe helped other customers before moving the vehicle then didn't want to credit me additional time after they wasted almost half an hour if my time waiting on them. In addition the lot was filthy. Trash, broken glass, and metal including nails were all over the lot. Terrible service, terrible employees, terrible conditions. I will never rent from this location again.

My experience started off bad. The location called me the day before to say they didnt have a truck for me. I was moving my aunt so i asked what we could do. They explained that they had a truck but i would have to come and get it that day and keep it over night and i could have it until noon the next day. A little early but they worked with me. Carlos was great. They did a great job coming up with a solution to fix the problem. Well done.

Good: Convenient location; Allowed returning vehicle after hours is a plus and the process is simple and easy to follow. Lots of vehicle availabilities; Easy to reserve a vehicle online via the Uhaul's app. Bad: It's hard to find the key box; Key box doesn't look or appear the same as shown on video; There was no location mentioned where to find the box; Limited spots available if returning vehicle after hours; I charged over $300 even after explaining to someone on the phone the reason and that the reason was within the terms and agreement pr the companies policy. The proof I'll be submitted and I hope that refund will be processed soonest. Thank you,

I am not sure I can blame the dudes that are working Sunday mornings at this UHaul location. After booking the UHaul, almost every single detail/communication was quite honestly disappointing. Too much to write, but if any human reads this and cares, please call me (206-679-6378). I met Sebastien Reyes from UHaul (VP of Communications) and I think he would value my feedback.

The staff was outstanding & super helpful. I'm not a huge fan of the 'trailer van' storage units. I was under the impression that these units were part of a bigger building, so that was a little unsettling especially because of the crime in this area. The only other complaint I have it not being able to reach ANYONE at U-haul on the phone. Your online system works great and I'm thankful that it all worked out. But not be able to ask a person a question before hand was a little unnerving.

Your staff is typically amazing so you must be doing something right! However, they seem to operate with little supervision and little training and few processes. They had no idea how to handle an upset customer (me) when I came in after my unit had been broken into. They need more support there. All they did was look uncomfortable and shrug their shoulders.Whoever the woman was that proactively reached out to me and finalized my move out was especially helpful the past few times I was there. I wish I knew her name. As far as the facilities, they are are dirty and stinky and messy. I wished we had moved out sooner.
