Sheldon is an excellent manager. Uhual you are lucky to have such a hard working manager who goes above and beyond to help the customer. He even took calls after hours to assist....that is a good dedicated person. He deserves a pay raise. On. Another note. What could UHual do better. Less pads per box should be an option. I had struggles in LA having the driver being reluctant to take two packages of blankets back to the shop ....stating no room in large truck cab . Then she took them back. Also I was not happy that on box had a board patch inside the box. This preventing me sliding picture frames along that side. The board was an inch thick. These boxes are expensive to rent. Come on U Hual You are making cheap cargo boxes and charged me almost 3 grand for three boxes......your product arrived cracked and dented. Make your box out of metal like all other pods. Train your people better on the fork lift. La driver picked up one box when the box was not against the mast....this caused her to be completely lifted up wheels off the ground....

In had to drive 160 miles round trip to pickup truck. I was told at 188 -u-haul I would get a extra day and be given a extra 90 miles, By the second day i was being called asking when i was returning the truck, The first evening after renting truck there was a severe weather warning w/high winds so couldn't drive but was being made like i was a car theif and jacking your truck. It was not a positive experience at all

The additional lock on storage units delays access when there's a line of people in the morning. Other facilities are instant access.

The back of the truck was not cleaned out prior to my move using the 20-foot truck. However my movers (that are recommended by UHaul) cleaned it out both before and after. Otherwise it was an excellent experience.

First off you can teach your guys how to read a gas gauge because when I brought my unit back your guy wanted to argue with me about what 7/8's of a tank is. He's the guy at the coos bay U-Haul that has meth mouth and smells like stale ass cigarettes because that's all he seems to do is smoke outside and not do his job. Second you guys charging for mileage is ridiculous considering how much gas prices are already and how you place the responsibility on us to fill the tank back up before we return it seems like a huge money grab scheme. I can get that there is liability on these rigs but they ain't worth that much. Third when my father who is a 14 year Iraqi Veteran asks for a military discount and you guys deny that its a huge slap in the face and when you have your clerks proclaiming you guys donate 90 million a year to the U.S. military I call bullshit on that. No matter what you donate or even if you guys donate to our military or not you can give more than that and actually honor the men and women in our armed forces by giving them that discount. Last I will never do business with you guys again. I'm uderly ashamed to see who you people hire at this company and how they have piss poor attitudes, crap hygiene, and are lazy as fuck. This is suppose to be a business and Im really surprised aside from having people renting your storage units that you guys are in business anymore. I think we could do without your company in this town if it comes down to it. You need to clean it up and get it done fast. I'm not against spreading the word about this to anyone else which I already have. Lived here all 25 years of my life and know a lot people around here so word of mouth spreads fast. Like I said CLEAN IT UP!

No one in the store or on the yard was wearing a mask. The trailer had a pad lock on it and I had to return to the Coos Bay location on highway 101 to get another trailer. Not wearing masks is disrespectful to the families of the customers as well.

We ended up borrowing a dolly from a friend so we declined to rent the uhaul dolly. There was no uhaul dolly even in the truck at pickup which was fine but yet when we returned the truck today the guy charged us for the uhaul dolly anyways! 😡not cool

Our first experience when arriving to unload our furniture/and extras we were supposed to by reservation have access to 3 storages but only one was available. So it was inconvenient but we were offered 2 UBoxes free of charge as replacement which we were grateful for. But we had to go else where to find another storage at another storage place farther away because nothing was available at any UHaul business. That was upsetting at the time but thankfully UHaul allowed us extra time to unload a our belongings at another storage place. There seemed to be a shortage of help/employees but they did do the best they could under the circumstances. They were very busy both times we were there. The manager was calm and helpful as well.

The storage I reserved was not available. When I was a few hours from town I was told that it had someone s stuff in it and they did not know why or whom it belonged to... arrived to a refund of 120 for storage yet nowhere to put the belongings I had!!! The acting manager was totally unable to make sense of it all and I was left with no storage and will most likely have more damages!!!

Everything went great. Both ladies that helped were nice. (Tall one with 2 jobs, and the other with dark hair) don't remember their names; sorry!) We had to do an equipment switch, and it went smooth. The gentleman that received the truck was quick and nice. The truck totally didn't explode. So that's 👍 Will use this location again... rad staff 👌

This store was a nightmare and I returned my vehicle Saturday,Monday I got an email stating it still wasn't returned the store personnel accused the person dropping it off for me of stealing a personal item of theirs! Which is unacceptable and crazy! The entire store personnel was a nightmare and my vehicle is still not showing returned because of an error of the employee. They also didn't do what they said as far as contacting me for payment information and charged my friend picking it up.I had talked to a gentleman in the Coos Bay location 1/2 hour before it was picked up. I don't usually say anything but moving is stressful enough and I feel like this entire process with Uhaul was very disappointing.

I did not receive the price that I had reserved online prior to the pick up of the equipment - the guys look horrible when you show up - toothless and dirty - at first I was given the wrong trailer and when I switched to a truck for a one way move they charged me more than what the advertised cost would have been

Confused lady to sign up with and was informed on the phone before meeting with them the wrong info to bring for the reservation. Also was given wrong time to return truck, if we would have done it when reserved no one would have been at the office to accept. We were very disappointed over all of the service.

Perhaps provide customer service training for the staff. I wasn't acknowledged by staff. I had a quick question and waited quite some time for help. I ended up leaving and figuring it out myself. Unfortunately, staff was unresponsive and dismissive.

Jacob Daniel's was the sales associate who rented us the equipment to make our move, he was pleasant and helped us all that he could, that being said.... the equipment was not ready to rent, the truck was dirty inside and out, their was someone's garbage under and behind the seats, they waited until we picked up the equipment to do fluid checks on the truck, the loading ramp was dirty and the auto transport was greasy and oily, I would never have let this happen at my center when I was a general manager for uhaul, it was clearly not ready for rental, but it is what it is and things were different years ago then they are today, we made the trip without incident.

Sales clerk was by herself, felt overworked and was having a work meltdown. Language was not appropriate about her job & boss in front of customers. She called her supervisor with apparently no support, hung up on him and continued her verbal assault about him and her job. Once she calmed down she did do a the contract correctly and in a timely manor. She assisted in getting the trailer and connecting to my vehicle and checking all safety items.

Train employees better so that they're not clueless about information that customers need & want. Just a very unprofessional staff, I wouldn't go back & I already left a 1-star review within minutes from when I picked up my reservation. The mobile pickup is a joke and doesn't work as intended also. Overall bad customer experience.

This was above and beyond any vehicle rental experience I've ever had. The next time I need to rent a van or pickup, I'm going to Coos Bay U-Haul, and NOT Enterprise. It was faster to get the truck. The truck was FULL of gas when I picked it up so there was no guessing how much gas to put in before I returned it. The customer service was excellent and I really appreciated being able to return the truck late and I wasn't charged another day. Actually there were no extra charges and it meant the world to me to be able to spend more time with my family member. The pickup truck I rented was a dream to drive. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend this U-Haul.

When calling the local office to make a reservation an agent named Justin answered & was not wanting to take my reservation because it was 5 minutes to closing. Upon another person at the company hearing this they took over the call because he was refusing to help me & was trying to request I call back.

Jacob was a great customer service person. The one trailer did not have working lights, and he found another option and worked with us to get everything we needed to use the trailer. Because the one trailer didn't have working lights I put that the equipment wasn't well maintained. Was told they had just received it, so am assuming that they had not had time to check it all out. Thank you Jacob!

Get the information correct when billing people on turn in. I traveled 23.7 miles which they say the tank was full when I got it when it was below half. By the usage it would appear that the 15 foot truck only gets 2.65 mpg I returned it with more gas in it from when I got it. The charged me over $63. This is outrageous. I am not happy if it is not corrected.

I've used this location for over 10 yrs and I have NEVER had problem one from them. OUTSTANDING employees in everyway. Coming or going I would use them. Much the opposite of the neighborhood independent dealer down the road. Who refused to take back equipment that was scheduled to be returned to him. Corporate completely messed up my order he said, and he didn't want anything to do with it. Said go down the road....... 20' hauling an autotrans, one way roads and trying to keep the tank where you won't charge me more... Tried to unload the autotrans to make it easier, but ...NO! (customer service) Well, very happy to oblige that I guess, considering the true customer service one receives at Uhaul Storage of Coos Bay.

The old woman in the office didn't know how to use the computer. After over an hr of her trying to get us a storage unit, she told me to come back later so some one else could do it. My unit was always blocked by trucks or other equipment! Not easy to get in and out of, honestly the worst experience ever .
