Stop with the false advertising. The $20 rental ended up being $87, which is BS. Had I known it would be that much I wouldn't have bothered. Also, the sign at the drop off says to wait and someone would come out. No one did, I went in and there was a man doing nothing and I set down the keys and said I needed to return the truck. He was rude, the other guy grabbed the keys and said he would take care of it.

We first called the national U-Haul number and the gentleman made a reservation for us. We had some difficulty hearing him at times. He told us a cargo van was available in Coos Bay and it would be sent to the Bandon U-Haul, closer to where we live. After a while, we called the Bandon U-Haul to confirm this. It was a good thing we did, because they courteously explained that they never have cargo vans and do not have them sent from Coos Bay. We called Coos Bay, and they made our reservation. There was a choice of vans waiting for us the next morning. The staff was efficient, friendly, and ready to assist us. We chose the Ram van, but immediately found that one of the windshield wipers was malfunctioning. They quickly and pleasantly substituted a Ford van that was ready to go. We had no problems with the Ford, except for an interior rack that was not fully bolted down and rattled if we did not buffer it with a rolled up towel. We brought this to the attention of the attendant when we returned the vehicle, and he said he would get that fixed right away. The window by the driver-side mirror needed cleaning as well. Otherwise, we felt the vehicle was clean and well maintained.

This location is the most difficult to access your unit, impossible if you want to put something large in your unit. The staff is rude and unprofessional everytime my family was there to access the unit it was a big inconvenience to get anything that resembled customer service gate hours and rules changed daily and contradicted the U haul contact. Worst location EVER!!!!!!!

Access to our storage unit was extremely limited. Trucks were always blocking it. It was insane that we had to contact the office every time we needed to use it even though it was an outdoor unit. We never moved in due to this. Then, we continued to receive bills for almost two months even though it was canceled online well before payment was due. I will never use this location again.

Tried to check in at 645pm and was told the counter clerk did not know how to do that and to come back the next morning. Came back next morning at 7am to find that the unit I had reserved had a lock on it. Called the next day and was told it been rented to someone else and my contract has already been canceled although I was not contacted. I had to unload my trailer into my living room to get it turned in and it has made the room much more complicated and uncomfortable. Have rented and stored with other locations in the past, would not work with this location again.

Our first experience when arriving to unload our furniture/and extras we were supposed to by reservation have access to 3 storages but only one was available. So it was inconvenient but we were offered 2 UBoxes free of charge as replacement which we were grateful for. But we had to go else where to find another storage at another storage place farther away because nothing was available at any UHaul business. That was upsetting at the time but thankfully UHaul allowed us extra time to unload a our belongings at another storage place. There seemed to be a shortage of help/employees but they did do the best they could under the circumstances. They were very busy both times we were there. The manager was calm and helpful as well.

My unit was always blocked by trucks or other equipment!
