This location was very helpful. However, my reservation was originally at a different location. When I got there, they did not have my truck available. The representative called Uhaul and was told that because I booked via uhaul.com, it was double booked. I don't really understand this reasoning. I do know that, because my husband had dropped me off (I planned to drive the uhaul home), I had to Uber to another location (Duwamish) and got a late start on my move. I ended up having to reschedule several other activities that day as a result. I felt very frustrated.Rachel P.

Schedule the pickup at the closest location, not the place most convenient for U-Haul! I had to find this place by calling around; you wanted to send me far away to return the trailer. Choose a more reliable 3rd party shipper. My box arrived 4 days late. Havent heard from u box about a refund as I was told I would and the pickup location had very limited space to allow us to unload box on site. They chose a location 70 miles from where we moved when there was a closer location only 18 miles from where we moved that has a much larger lot for customers to load/unload at.terry C.

The u-box I first picked up looked like someone to an axe to it. It was not sturdy and did not look secure. When I requested a new u-box, my reservation got all messed up and my delivery date got pushed out two days just because my box number changed. I also got double charged for the box since I changed numbers. Overall it was not a great experience and now my box is going to show up late.STEPHANIE W.

I ordered a truck and when I arrived they said they didn't have it, but that they changed the time to 5 hours later. I was never notified of this change, instead received confirmation texts and emails saying I was good to go at my original time, while standing there listening to them tell me it wasn't available. Why was I able to book the truck if it's not available? Nothing was offered to amend, no apology given. I had to suggest switching vehicles to a different one. An apology goes a long way, folks. This is the second time I've had a UHAUL snafu with no apology of the error that UHAUL had (the last one was the location was closed and even my 24/7 pickup wasn't applicable for whatever reason. I had to find another UHAUL location). If this wasn't 2 minutes from my house I wouldn't use it.KELLI T.

I would suggest that the UHaul local store phone number not be transferred to the national customer service dept. It usually results in a lot of lost time as the national CS person has to call the local store anyway. ( I was on hold for 40 minutes or more a couple times during my experience. I actually found going to the local store was the best option.) Also I'd like to see more lash down hooks in the UBox. There were only 2. I'd recommend 4 on each side of the box,2 each at the 4' level and 2 at floor level. All the local customer service representatives, both outbound and inbound were very helpful and even went over and above to assist me. Regarding the late arrival, i was compensated to my satisfaction. Communications aside, My experience went just like I wanted it to..ALFRED D.

I have done a lot of Business with Uhaul. Jenny and Maria are the best employees I have ever worked with. I have followed Jenny from the Burien location to the Othello Location to the Duwamish Location. Jenny and Maria are the best. I will follow them anytime to get my moving needs met. If they ever let I would go elsewhere. They answer my calls They try their hardest to find me a truck. I would suggest Uhaul to never loose these girls. NOTE, this location did an excellent job and they handled my rental very well. However An issue I would like to see addressed is the customer phone service. When a phone call is made, if the location called is too busy to answer, the phone call is transferred to a national cusomer service. I have been on "hold" with the national customer service several times over 30 minutes and one time for over 45 minutes. Once after over 20 minutes i started a "chat" on line and that was just as bad. I've found that the most expedient way to get "service" with U-Haul, is to drive to the location and take my order and questions to the on-site representatives.ALFRED D.
