For me it would have been improved to provide a tow dolly at more locations, so I didn't have to drive an hour and ten minutes to pick it up and to return it. With my time and fuel combined, that's over $100 added to the rental cost, and the rental was only $71 All and all, your employees are top notch! Thank you Alan

The only reason I wouldn't recommend the location is the lady who helped us out. Her customer service skills were horrible. In the middle of pulling up our reservation she decided to carry a non work related concerns with her coworker and then when we asked if we could leave the our car in the customer parking she was very rude and kept trying to dismiss us by saying you can leave it wherever we aren't responsible. She said this numerous times and then finally her coworker responded with it was fine to leave in any space marked customer and we wouldn't have a problem for the time (4 hours) we were using the truck. I wasn't asking who was responsible. I was asking if we had to drive our car back or if we could leave it without being towed or something. She was incredibly rude and because of that I would drive to a further location for service

When I went to fuel the truck up it became apparrant that there was a fuel leak in the fuel tank, as gas poured onto the grouand at the gas station. Seeing that the fuel ws not hitting anything like the muffleer I drove it to the location about 3 miles to return. I was charged for 42 miles but put almost 13 gallons of fuel in the tank to get it back to the fuel mark. Vehicle appears to have gotten about 3 miles to the gallon. I don't know exactly how much fuel came out of the leak but honestly I would have thought I would be compensated for driving a potenial bomb.

Staff good, new employee seemed a little overwhelmed. All rentals had less than 1/2 a tank of gas one had only 1/4. One rental was not checked out by employee and found the cargo area padlocked when I arrived at my location. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase a $35 bolt cutter to cut the padlock off so I could use the truck. All the while the movers I had employed for $200 an hour were sitting with nothing to do until I got the padlock off. Wouldn't recommend this location. Should have received some type of compensation for the lack of training.

The only issue we had was that the A/C didn't work at all when the truck was under a load, i.e. going up a pass. We were not fully loaded, so it wasn't like it had to work super hard. It was a hot trip to WY. Glad we didn't have to travel any further.

Our reservation was for pick up in Hayden ID. Unfortunately, the equipment was not there and we were sent to Spokane,WA to get it. This was inconvenient , time consuming and costly due to the extra gas cost. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of commitment to professionalism.

The assistant manager went above and beyond to help us out in a semi-emergency situation to get our uhual storage unit ready for us, got me set up over the phone and located my existing account. I forgot to shut the storage door before we were locked out and she had to save us again. Amazing! So happy we some how ended up here 🥰

When I got my Uhaul it was not washed covered in bug guts and it was dusty and footprints inside. I drove about 10 min away and started hearing a rattle from the back and I went to pull down the visor and it fell in my lap I brought back the Uhaul to the place where I got it and a different worker then originally helping me said she knew about the problems and it was fine and to keep driving it for my Allotted time. When I went to bring it back a different worker tried to blame me for those issues that were there previously. I didn't like how this was handled no communication and not very clean

I reserved equipment at another location, they didn't have the equipment and sent to the location that did. The problem was they sent me to the wrong location. When I picked up the equipment, the UHaul employee did not hook the auto hauler trailer up correctly. I discovered this when I tried to drive my vehicle onto the trailer and it detached from the tow hitch and swung up in the air. Luckily no one was injured. The employees were not very helpful and borderline rude. One of the employees was on her phone and we had to wait for her to finish playing on it to get help. She also kept checking the phone during our rental process.

Full disclosure- THIS WAS NOT THE STAFF'S FAULT. Rather than trying to blame the little guy, it'd serve corporate well to take some accountability. Had an 8am for a 6x12 trailer and arrived 15 mins prior. Location A (an indirect retailer) sent me to location B. Got to location B ten minutes later. Being a direct retailer, I was in their system, but apparently had been switched to another store unbeknownst to me. Location C was an additional ten minutes down the road. Arrived at location C. After fifteen minutes of waiting, I'd been informed that my 6x12 had a flat. Got a 5x8 instead just to get out of there. Fast forward to 1pm- We were done with the trailer, and came to return it. There was a line out the door at the front desk, with nary a person to help. I walked out into the bay and found the same 6x12 I'd wanted, having it's tire repaired. I found an attendant helping another customer and asked if I needed to fill out any paperwork. She informed me to just “unhook and drop it,” and I'd be good to go. The next day, I got a call from the same location- “About how much longer were you going to need that trailer for?” ….Yeah. I'm never using UHaul again.

Not inky did I get the help I knew I needed the manager helped on things I didn't know I needed. She was amazing. I lost her card and I'm bad with names but she went above the help I was expecting. Is anyone responsible for the outside cleanliness of the trucks? I've rented two trucks in the past month and each one's windows were incredibly dirty. The 2nd truck (the 26') was so bad that it made driving dangerous when pointing into the sun and especially at night. THERE WAS NO WASHER FLUID. Does anyone check the fluids? What else is not being checked (like brake fluid levels) and how safe are these trucks to drive. I have to seriously consider whether U-Haul will be my choice or not in the future.

I was given a truck that stunk. Unfortunately you didn't know it until the air conditioning had been running for a while. Then you were hit with a very musty, corn chip kind of smell. It's 2022 and trucks still don't have Bluetooth, are still horribly designed for comfort, and are still absolute garbage on gas consumption. The location was cool and folks were kind, but the truck sucked. The gear shift was obnoxiously difficult to move too. Every single time I have rented with U-Haul in the last 10 years it has always been a huge problem and being right on brand, this time was no different.

I was charged double on a car hauler that I picked up at 6 pm and dropped at 8pm that some night. Stopped by the store and talked to a gal and she said she would have the manager call me back 4 days later no call so I called again and the manager was not their again. left my number with them for the 2nd time and waiting on the call back.

I had the pleasure of being served by Spencer V. at pickup and drop-off! It was the absolute most efficient service I've ever received at a rental store!! I will make this my preferred location when I'm in Spokane!

The truck had a broken canopy over the engine in the cab. I didn't notice it until the engine heated up and was blowing extremely hot air on my feets and legs to the point I couldn't push the accelerator. I called to let them know and Nicki didn't care. Just said oh. When I was picking up Nicki was more concerned with her new hair cut. She was showing her coworkers and manager photos while helping me. Unprofessional. I use this store once a month and it's frustrating.

The guy who gave me my keys for the van I rented did not give me a lock I guess I should of had for drop off after hours. Because of this I was held up for almost 30 mins trying to find a drop box for the key and being on hold with 24-7 uhaul service too find out that there was no box and to lock the key in the van. This area is in a not so great part of town and as a single woman I was scared due to several homeless people roaming the parking lot and around the building while I was searching and waiting. The van as well was not completely clean. When I moved the steering wheel column there was food in between the column and the dashboard.

The lady here was wonderful- very friendly and helpful. SO much better than when I was in Moscow…contemplated just using truck and trailer…so much easier with a uhaul! Saved us hours getting it done in one trip! Get a uhaul!

First, no one called to confirm my rental and the location that it would be at. I had to go to the pickup location assigned in the confirmation email to be told that they reassigned the location. Then, it was explained that if I needed to extend the rez, I could just call the location directly. I called 6 times and no one answered. The website states that I can extend on uhaul.com, which was false. It directed me to contact the location directly. I arrived at the location 18 minutes after closing and found 2 employees just locking up and asked if they had a drop box for the keys. They replied "no" and said they would wait for me to return with a full tank of gas and they would take my keys and I would return the truck online. They said they would wait because they were also borrowing one of the trucks and needed to get it ready. I returned 10 minutes later and they were gone and there was no where to drop the keys. I had to come back the next morning to leave the keys just past 7am and no one was at the counter to greet me and take the keys. I left them on the counter and walked out as I was already late for work. This was the absolute WORST experience with Uhaul. I will NEVER go back to the location at 4110 East Sprague in Spokane. The gentleman at the location 905 E Third was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and KIND. That was where I was initially assigned to pick up my vehicle. You lost a customer Uhaul!

I wouldn't exactly say that the truck was clean and well-maintained it was just a dirty moving truck I thought that's what they usually look like. However no I will not recommend U-Haul I literally drove it 15 miles and I put gas in at 9:14 at night and a scary neighborhood that the roads were all tore up with construction And then I get my bill and you guys billed me for 2 gallons of gas when I rented it it was at 3/4 of a tank and when I returned it it was well over 3/4 of a tank and I was actually just being nice because it really didn't move it all on the gauge and then you Bill me and then I called the store to ask them why they would bill me when I put gas in and he said I apologize it was marked incorrectly but because we've already billed your card we can't do anything about it so you can call U-Haul at a one 800 number wait online for an hour to not even get through to anybody because the phone disconnects to get my gas money back. That is bullshit.

It's really stressful and a major inconvenience when the Uhaul is not in the location that we decide to begin. If it won't be in the location chosen, don't give us the option. Also, I chose pickup at 8am and the location wasn't open until 9am. Please don't allow times to be an option for pickup if the store isn't even open because most people don't think to look that up, we trust that you guys are setting us up for success.

After reserving a truck at another location several days in advance, I was told, as I was on my way to pick up the truck I'd reserved and that I must drive approximately one hour away to get a truck. There'd been no communication of this problem during the prior four days! I was to meet a mover, also arranged and reserved via UHaul within an hour! I was texted and offered a larger truck, which I did not need. Finally, I was sent to this location. The woman I dealt with claimed to be a regional manager in customer service -- ridiculous. She could identify to truck she rented me and sent me wandering the parking lot to find the correct truck! She said it was a new truck and I was so lucky to be getting one in the city! The truck was a 2017! When I arrived with the truck at the location I was moving from I found the back of the truck padlocked! Because it was in no way prepared for rental! I had to return to the UHaul lot to get the padlock removed! There was no apology, just the comment "humans make mistakes." My reservation included a hand truck and furniture pads -- there were none in the truck I was given!!! I felt SABOTAGED at every turn by the lack of concern and service!!!!! What a joke!!!

The building reeked of weed when I first entered and the staff was not very helpful or knowledgeable. At first they couldn't find my reservation even with my reservation number, phone number, and personal ID. When they finally found it they said they didn't have the truck I reserved but they could give me a smaller truck. I accepted because I had to move that day. As I was finishing up the paperwork the employees were discussing how the truck I had been using was just dropped off by the previous renter. I took the truck and drove to my storage unit. There I opened the back and realized it hadn't been cleaned by the previous renter. I removed the leftover garbage and continued with my move. At the end of my day when I went to fill the truck with gas before returning it I found that the fuel line had a hole and gas spilled everywhere. The gas tank was fully in tact and only the pipe leading to it was punctured. The vehicle was in my sight at all times during my rental so this hole happened at a previous time and the vehicle wasn't properly inspected before being given to me. I returned the truck and tried several times to call the support line or even leave a voicemail with the particular location but to no avail. Overall I was really disappointed with the service and quality given

I reserved my truck for 2 I then had to return it a day early because of a hole in the gas tank. I returned it and no customer service at all, not even a sorry this happened or let me see if we can get you another truck. This is my second dealing with this company and just be warned that any customer service issues will have to be dealt with by phone, no one can do anything in person.

Be present during an conversation. Felt ignored at one point as friends were visiting the location and the worker was focused on their conversation. I thought they were customers but sion learned they were just hanging out. I was hot and tired. I was charged extra $90 bucks for not filling truck back and included $30 service charge. I feel I should be refunded that money. Please consider it!!!!! Thank you, Treena

The only thing I wasn't happy about was I purchased a ball and hitch at the uhaul store and the guy didn't give me one with enough drop so the trailer was not level. It wasn't a big deal because it worked just fine, I would have just liked for it to be more level. This is not a reflection of the customer service the 2 gentlemen gave me, they were great. I just wish he would have taken a minute to look at the height of the back of my truck. I used your instant messing with a representative during my trip. I really liked that and it went well. I also like that I was able to return the trailer after hours. Overall, great experience. I would do it again.

You have an employee named Austin at the 4110 East Sprague location that deserves a huge kudos. He was working with a bare bones staff due to sick calls. This young man didn't miss a beat. He was professional, efficient, polite, considerate and kind. I worked 34 years in the airline industry and Austin is exactly the kind of worker that we would hope to be able to hire and keep on for many years. He was under extreme pressure and never lost his cool. Considering the circumstances I feel a lesser person would've walked off the job that day. Thank you Austin and thank you Uhaul for seeing the value in this young man. May his future be bright.

I see your reservation but the online system doesn't actually allocate the trucks to you, it just shows you reserved them. But other people have come before you and took the trucks.... WHICH LEFT ME NO TRUCKS!!! Very upset. I made plans, hired movers, etc to move and then there weren't any trucks. The rep told me to call the local logistics office and she very unkindly said... sorry, nothing I can do for you. There isn't a 26' truck on this side of washington. Sorry! VERY FRUSTRATED!!!

Clearly it's very busy at all your locations and wait for service is a little time intensive but friendly and helpful. Things got a little confused but we worked through it. I could have used more direction on Drop Locations prior to choosing the Cook St. Pad since it was 20 miles outside Appleton. Great price and good service.

The trailer was a dilapidated junker. Tire flew off in SD. Still trying to get reimbursed after 3 calls, transfers, holding over hour each time and 6 hour wait to be told Noone could help me so had to find tire dealer and pay out of pocket

When I originally made the reservation, I did so almost 2 weeks out, with a trailer for my truck. First, the guy making the reservation doesn't tell me I have to pay extra for the trailer, so I ended up spending close to $600 for both truck and trailer. Then, on the reminder day call, my reservation was sold, and I had to go an hour out of my way to get the truck. Thankfully, that was resolved when it was returned at 3 pm. 5 hours past my pickup time. And when I finally get to my move destination, and return the truck, I am refused my refund. It took 600 dollars, and I didn't get a damn penny back. Why would I recommend U-Haul when I got shafted this fucking hard, without any lube?

The employee who was helping me (James) was concurrently talking on his personal phone to sell his personal vehicle while I waited for him to start setting me up with the rental. He didn't end up doing the computer work, I asked one of his colleagues to help me because James was prioritizing his personal matter. Once I went out to get the trailer, James loaded it onto my vehicle and I discovered when I got home that he had not latched the ball latch to secure it to the trailer ball and he had not attached the trailer brake safety chain. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of attention to safety and neglect of a customer in order to handle a personal matter. Extremely disappointed. There is no way I can recommend this UHaul location to anyone.

Didn't rate 5 stars because of the U-haul lock that's attached to each unit. Had to go to the office get someone to come unlock the outside unit then go back again to tell them we were leaving. However, special thanks to Spencer Valois for her help during our move out!

I would say that's the best storage place in town the prices are up there a little bit but the people are well understanding and helpful as well as well as very respectful I would recommend this place to anyone who would need a storage in the future

This location needs to be shut down! I scheduled a truck pick up over the phone and when I got there no one was working in the building I had to unlock the truck virtually which is a pain only to find out that someone stole all the gas and the battery out of the truck I rented. The storage manager Matthew was a very rude individual who told us he would come help us unlock my storage unit within a 15 minute time frame And he showed up 45 minutes later. This location changed my lock on my storage so that my own key wouldn’t work so that’s why I had to wait for him to show up. Overall because this location is under managed you guys delayed my moving trip by three hours. This is the worst service I’ve ever had with U-Haul.

The only complaint and it’s a big one. If you have paid for the month and move out before the following month, other storage facilities give you the pro rated rate back, you don’t pay for the full month if you move out. This storage facility does not offer that. You move out, no pro rated money back. That’s my only complaint. I think it’s not a very good way to do business.

I called a couple of days prior to us renting a storage unit since we were returning the truck to this location. I was told that a 20’ would be available if not we could get a bigger one for the same price. The manager that was there was in a rush, not very helpful, couldn’t figure out which storage unit was ours, we think we were given the wrong one, the lock that was given did not fit, so had to get a different one, they are suppose to double secure the unit, no place did I see where they double secure it, the poor girl that was left to help, was so confused but very nice and pleasant. Overall this has not been a great experience and am regretting my decision to put our belongings there as I am not sure if our stuff will be safe or if it was double secured. I just don’t know.
