SHARON RFirst of all it was an embarrassing situation for them to show up and repo the truck which I already was going to bring it back as soon as I drop my kids off but since I didn’t answer my phone because I was at work the white girl did an pull up which was unnecessary because if it was any body white they wouldn’t did it and I know for fact they wouldn’t because my wife got an whit friend and she rented from yall and kept it for two weeks and yall ass didn’t show up and repo so here the answer to the question how to improve for the next customers is to treat every one with the same respect no matter if you black are white
Carl HGet an accurate assessment of how many miles the customer plans on driving altogether so that they know how many miles to tell the customer service representative. From the distance they leave the store, go pick up their belongings, drop off their belongings to their new address, and finally back to the store. Y'all should have some sort of GPS designed for something like that so that both the customer and the customer service representative knows how much distance will be involved upfront before the customer even leaves the store for accuracy measures. It would also help the customer to know how much money they're going to need to spend for gas before they get back to the store. For instance, how much a quarter of a tank of gas would cost for whichever specific truck. How much a half tank would cost. How much 3 quarters of a tank would cost and so forth. They would be super helpful towards the customer and shows that y'all care a bit more compared to your competitors. Accuracy is very important. Especially for adults that pay attention to detail.

Toinette RThe brakes on my truck were horrible. I felt unsafe driving this truck due to the brakes. Otherwise the truck was clean and well maintained. This U-Haul store is in a dangerous location; it's really hard to pull out of the lot in the big truck. Visibility of the road is really poor at this location

ANDREW W | First ImpressionsReceived too many furniture pads than what was needed. After emptying the uhaul containers and sweeping them, we were told that we would be fined because all the furniture pads were in one container, and not all were folded into perfect squares. Many of the pads were still in the packaging. We only moved half of our home, and was planning to use uhaul containers to move the rest of our home in the upcoming months. The end of this service and receiving a fine for not having perfectly folded furniture pads has us considering other moving companies for the rest of our move, and our planned move for 2026.
Kaitlyn BOnly had one head light. Also, the Uhaul App doesn't work when trying to check in truck. Upload picture feature doesn't work at all.
TERRY ATruck was clean but it doesn't run well had no problem it just sounds like it was on it last leg maybe I am thinking that it should be running smooth but service was great employee very friendly and prompt I would rent again thanks

GARETH ZMake sure that when you give an arrival time for the U-Haul container that it arrives within that time period - not 8 hours later. And when you call to find out where the container is, people are actually knowledgeable and don't give a lot of excuses (it rained) for it not showing up on time.

Jamie DWhen I moved I set up a reservation for a truck and storage unit. Once I got everything moved into the truck. The storage unit was filthy looked like someone had been living out off it.15 feet . So since that one was unavailable they gave me a bigger size unit because that’s all they had at the time. In which area hey are charging me full price for 170$ a month. Then when I got my stuff finally settled in the unit the door to the unit wouldn’t shut to lock! So someone had to come out a drill a whole in the door for it to shut. Spoke with the manager and her reply was I could have chosen somewhere else.

JAMES SUpon returning truck my deposit was to be $54 00 I only received 21.00 I didn't like that and Noone asked me about how far I had to go they gave me 30 miles that was not enough and for the miles over I got charged 32.00 dollars this was wrong I'd like the rest of my deposit
SHIRLEY WI've had my stuff in storage in in about 5 different states and never had issues with unit leaking or having to discard furniture because of MOLD! I will NOT use Uhaul ever again.

They were gonna move me but I told them I liked that unit and placement. They got a truck, loaded up the trash, and cleaned it out on the spot for me in 5 minutes. I was able to find a beautiful full China set. The check in was easy peasy. I definitely would use them again. They treated me just right! Thank you fellas!

James G | First ImpressionsClimate-controlled storage was actually very hot during the summer months. There was no AC actively working when I was there, instead they were using floor fans insecurely jerry-rigged to the ceiling (which were not doing a good job at all). Upon retrieving my belongings before ending my contract for moving, the entire “climate controlled” interior had a very deep, powerful stench of stale urine that permeated my belongings that were stored there. The staff also repeatedly complained to me and other customers about their staffing issues during my move out day. I ended up getting my 15’ truck 2 hours later than what I scheduled a month ago due to a combination of incessant complaining from staff about other coworkers not being to work on time and…. the other employees being late. The staff seemed more preoccupied with venting to customers than working to get us taken care of despite their drawbacks. More time was wasted on complaining to us than actually doing their job. I had to wash everything I had stored here, and I was put two entire hours behind due to their level of unprofessionalism. The staff also seemed to enjoy correcting me referring to my truck rental as an “van” because they call them trucks, despite a picture on the board behind their heads of my exact rental van titled in bold black letters as “15’ Van.” Intervention needed at this location ASAP. I expected better, having done business at much nicer Uhaul facilities elsewhere.
Robert A | Overall ExperienceThe location manager and the staff at this location really made the biggest impact on my experience with U-Haul and U-Haul storage. Corporate U-haul screwed up my storage location (was supposed to be closer to my office), and they put me here instead. When I got here, the storage code provided by corporate U-Haul did not work. The manager, Dana, helped me get access to the unit after hours. Even though there are 5-6 locations closer to my home and work, I will drive out of my way to this location since they were so helpful from now on. If I ever need a hitch, I'll come here. When I need storage again, I will come here.

By the time I moved out this month, they had the back stacked so much with those boxes by the van body units, that my unit was a little difficult for me to access most of the time. Luckily I was moving out anyway bc I recently moved back home. But I’m not paying the kind of money I paid not to have easy access to my things. But that’s what I get for doing business with a corporation instead of a local business honestly

The inside of the storage place was run down and not maintained. We had to find a different storage unit in gulfport and we got charged for the miles it took to drive there. It was not a good experience and wouldn't recommend this location. The workers there were not friendly either when we asked questions they were dismissive and seemed bothered by us.

When I checked in at the facility they gave me a 2nd Floor climate controlled small storage room and I am on a time schedule nothing else was open on a Sunday so I had to settle but I have no where else to put my other stuff because it would not fit in the storage they gave me. So I had to throw my stuff that wouldn't fit away.

I would have moved stuff from my other units but it wouildnt have fit in those either. Its not a huge couch so I don't understand this. I know Cheyann tried very hard to make it work. Dana and her Assistant was very helpful getting things reversed. They made it quick and easy and I was grateful. online is very convenient but took two days having to re enter constantly over and over til finally went thru. if it does that because someone has it reserved, please just say "you can try later" but having to keep entering info over and over was frustrating. Eventhough I like U haul and prefer to have my storage here.
