I reserved a 12 foot trailer, but when I showed up to pickup the trailer I was informed that maintenance had picked up the trailer for wheel bearing replacement so was forced to either rent a 9 foot trailer or go to another location. All this after I waited in line for 35 minutes even though I checked in online. On a plus side, the lot attendant was friendly and helpful in hooking up the trailer.

Every time I rent something from this location the service is awful. It isn't the people, they're usually very polite. It's either a lack of training or a lack of supervision. There is no sense of urgency which results in just terribly slow service.

The agent checking me in (I believe the location general manager) was less than friendly, rude and not interested in answering questions or ensuring I knew what to do when I dropped after hours. Because she was unresponsive, I didn't an hour and a half looking forward the drop off box at 1230 am in the rain and then just took the hey with me, which resulted in me having to make an unnecessary 4 hr round trip to get the key back once I made contact. I'm a manager myself and it's a shame the example she set for the other employees that were there also. I'd rather bake 20 trips in a pick up the rent from this location again!

Charge my card after the vehicle is brought back so that they don't take out two payments. Also, giving a heads up if a vehicle that I want (a pickup truck) isn't there or was extended out the rest of the day.

We went to the u-haul on the 4700 Dorchester on Wednesday. We asked to reserve a van. Girls said we didn't need to reserve for Friday. Went back there Friday and they said we needed a reservation. Was not happy. They sent us to 3642 to get the van. They had it but what would have been a 10 mile trek wound up costing for at 25 mile. We were not happy

Brittany who I guess is one of the general managers was rude and getting smart making slick remarks. Very unprofessional. It was clear she had no idea what she was doing!!! Will never recommend her place of business to anybody. She needs to be fired.

The truck smelled like a farm and there was a random “retail sales item” attached to our bill and when I emailed they did not respond.

There was some mis information on the amount of blankets I ordered which I did not find out about until hours into my move process. I recall ordering 12 but only was given 6. So I was shorted snd hand to find alternatives.

Upon arriving, our customer service person wasn't wearing a mask. I inquired about the policy. She stated it was not required. That's funny, when there's mask ordinances everywhere. She never put one on. The equipment was perfect. However again, the rep got the job done efficiently, but with minimal smiles or caring attitude for the company's customers.

The truck was not ready upon arrival. I was charged a $25 cleaning fee for not having my moving blankets properly folded after I checked out and the clerk didn't mention this was about to be an issue. When I called she was so rude. I rent here at least 6-8 times a year. No longer.

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Blonde who works at the desk is extremely rude, unhelpful and disrespectful as well. Will never use your services again and will share my negative experience with anyone I know who is considering Uhaul for their move.

Major issue, my unit was emptied out saturday the 31st, i was out of town and tried calling and never got thru so I sent 2 emails, I saw Monday where november payment was deducted from my bank account I went straight to the office and tried to resolve this but was told I was supposed to turn in my access card, this is the 3rd time renting from this facility and never had to turn in these cards after leaving, I asked to have the charge reversed or give me a new card and I will use the unit for the rest of yhe month, I was told by the "manager"{who needs some serious customer service training}she would have to call her manager, I went by today and was once again told by this person that she would have to call corporate so I told her lets call but she was busy, so now I have paid for a unit that I cannot use and this is 100% un-acceptable and need this issue resolved, there seems to be a continuing change of "management" and this person needs training, my phone no is 843-345-3654, I need an answer

Their were 2 young ladies working today when I arrived this morning around 8:40am. The young lady who assisted me checking in was on her cell phone watching YouTube and texting. She was so into her phone that she didn't even notice me handing her my credit card. The other young lady was outside inspecting the vehicles returned and cleaning. When I return my UHaul, the young lady who was busy cleaning this morning was the one who assisted me this time. She assisted us without being on her phone. She was kind and answered all of my questions and concerns. Much better than the interaction I had that morning. I do not know names because I saw no name tags. I understand technology can be interesting, however when you are working no matter how big or small you feel your job is, it's important to do it correctly without being on your phone. It makes the experience more personal.

Facility WAS suitable for my needs ( I am a contractor and used it as a place to store equipment and supplies). It is no longer a value to me. I started about 15 years ago under Stars & Stripes and over the years saw no changes in the product/service I received. I did, however, see a price increase of over 65%. Have a great day.

Service was spotty. Even though I did online check in, I still had to go through rental app process again in the office. I asked why. Representative said she didn't know.

My car was only secured by the two straps on the tow and upon arriving at my destination, I realized one was torn partially. Also, I was hooked to two trailers prior to that and both had issues with them, which added an extra hour onto my wait time.

When employee was rolling motorcycle trailer to connect to customer vehicle she was unable to stop trailer and tongue of trailer hit back of truck bumper causing damage to customer bumper. When I went to help her she said I wasted allowed. My 2020 truck only had 4000 miles on it. What can UHaul do to correct this??

The Staff was well trained and had Great Customer Service. There was one employee his name was Mr. Eric he really stood out and help with my transaction. Mr. Eric insured that he did a full 360 walk around the equipment with me and made sure that I was comfortable with the trailer. I would love to see Mr. Eric grow within Uhaul and please put into you management program.

The representative knowingly rented me a faulty truck that was not driveable after loading. In the end I had to pay movers an additional $300 for the hours it took for them to rig the truck enough to get me and my kids moved at 2:00am in the morning! I was not able to contact them directly and was promised a call bk by customer service

I rented a cargo van, put the gas in that I burned, and still was charged for gas. When I picked up the van I was told the gas level was a little below 1/2 tank. It was closer to 1/4. I put in 2 gallons for the 21 miles I drove, and the tank was closer to 1/2 than to 1/4. I was still charged $5 for gas.

I tried to call, was put on hold for 30 minutes. NO ONE EVER ANSWERED!!! Staff is rude. I was very sick with the corona virus and missed making my payment. I was told they would void my late fee. Then I find out you have two late fees. Only one was voided. Prices are ridiculously HIGH!!!!!! I will never get a storage unit with u-haul again. I will tell anyone asking about u-haul not to either.

We had our storage unit for 10 years and really had no issues until the past year. The management decided to allow storage of RVs, cars, and trailers onsite. This decision made it dangerous for a tenant to access their unit due to the fact that they would have to park in the roadway while onsite. I found it very frustrating when there was limited access to the building that our storage unit was located in. U-Haul should not allow this practice until such time that have the room to safely do so.

The workers have bad attitudes with your customers. If I needed to rent a storage unit again it will not be the company. Some of my belongings are damaged with mold or water damage! If your staff at that facility did their job and checked from damage to the unit I'm sure my things wouldn't be water or moisture damaged. I'm thinking of asking a lawyer about this situation! Your staff, your safe and secure facility is below a poor rating. This says talk to your staff first to resolve any issues, well I would if they weren't so disrespectful and rude.
