I tried to use the web site after hours when I returned the truck. I was unable to get it to take the number it asked for. When I tried to log in on a different route it took me to the last time I used a truck in 2016. After several minutes I became frustrated and dropped the key in the box without completing the online check out. other than the website, I have no complaints.

This location was great. We had reserved a pickup truck to be picked up at Credit Union Drive off Rivers Ave N. Charleston SC; however when I got there NO TRUCK AVAILABLE, NO CARGO VANS OR 10 FT BOX TRUCKS AT THAT LOCATION. The person on duty found a cargo van 8222 Dorchester Road overall I wasted over an hour of my time. I was told that he could not upgrade me a larger truck for the same price as the smaller truck. Most business will upgrade a customer if can't meet a reservation.

Made reservation for a Uhaul Truck and storage on 9/20 for 9/23, thinking all I need to do on 9/23 Is pay and go. Well, it didn’t go as planned. I arrive at the Dorchester location at 9, as this was my reservation time. I stood in line for almost a hour, as there was only one worker available. If you have so many reservations on a day like today, you should make sure the facility is staffed, and not have one person booking reservations, taking payments, showing customers storage units, pulling up Uhauls, and the list goes on and on. On the bright side to it, the Assistant Manager did a really good job of not showing his stress level. He really did kept it professional!

They was only one guy working, which didn’t make for a smooth transition because of all the customers and this one guy was responsible for receiving trucks , tending to customers and checking trucks out so the process at times was slow and frustrating, although the guy did a great job of taking care of everyone so my hat goes of to him

I dropped off the dolly before I dropped off the truck. I was accidentally charged for an extra day for the dolly as well as the truck. The extra day for the truck is a valid charge. The extra day for the car dolly is not. Please correct. Also, I do not understand the $25 cleaning fee. These are minor complaints. The facility is in good shape. The people are helpful. I have no problem renting from them again.

The mobile app did not work properly. Waited 10 minutes to get my drivers license and self photo "approved". Never did. The attendant at the site went on his computer and completed the process.

I didn't like that I picked up the truck and it only had 1/4 of a tank of gas. Other than that the experience was awesome. I think it was Kelly who helped me? She took great care of me by pointing out damages on the walk around and she ended up saving me money. She truly is great at her job.

I was unpleased. We have 2 storage at the location. While we in the back at the store loading the truck, I'm guessing someone return a U-haul pickup truck after hrs since the location closeds at 7pm. They parked at the very front of the gate. We were stuck with no way to exit. I called customer service & roadside assistance but was unable to get anyone on the phone. After I sat on hold almost an hr trying to get someone to come move the truck for us to get out, my husband & son had to literally find something to dig into the key lockbox to retrieve the key to move the truck on our own in order to leave the primise. Because of this ordeal, this delayed completing our move that night. We had things in one of the storage that needed to go to the dump the dump closed while we were stuck in the gate trying to get out. Ideally we had planned to reduce to one storage by dumping things we didn't plan to keep & moving some things in our new home. Because of this ordeal, we are still stuck with 2 storages (one filled w/ trash) because not only did the dump closed while we were stuck at the storage, but was completely closed the following day (Sun.) & we had ro have the truck bck by 1:45pm. When we returned the truck and spoke to the representative at the location and explained what happened, he responded very nonchalantly saying, "oh that doesn't surprise me. People do that all the time." Then he proceeded to tell my husband the was an additional $5 due because we were 5 miles over. There was no apology or concern or anything. If anything, I would've thought he would've at least been concerned that we literally went into their locked box to retrieve a key to get us out of the storage area. The GM of this location is always very nice, vey professional & always willing to help. I've called a few times trying to get her on the phone but she hasn't been there during the times I've called. I'm usually pleased with this location but this time, because of this experience and the unconcern of the associate I'm not very happy.

They need to pave some of the area, especially where you are to return your rentals. Also the area where you may be leaving your vehicle when used a truck for the day. There were areas that looked like you'd get stuck in and there were pot holes.
