Not greeted by gal on the phone. Opted out of insurance and she charged me anyway, but I caught it. Impossible to refill tank w/o overfilling. Spent and extra $7, and was not refunded.

Check truck rentals prior to renting vehicle's to customers. Truck was dirty inside vehicle had lots of white pet hair. the inside of cab smelled like smoke and the dash had lots of debris on top. Truck drove poorly the wheel alignment was off bad bouncing on the front end. Also had excessive road noise caused by bad window seal. Had to wear earplugs.

I had initially reserved a 10'x15'x12' Drive Up storage unit under reservation # 703024-00107238 effective November 28, 2021. During the check-in process yesterday afternoon, I was told my unit was not available in size and convenience in terms of being able to drive up to it to unload my personal belongings. I requested this specific size and "drive up" convenience because of the number of boxes as I am relocating from another state, and inability to carry so many boxes back and forth due to a medical condition, but I did not realize I had to justify my request for a "drive up" unit. I am still bothered that my reservation was not honored and instead a huge inconvenience was imposed on me which I do not appreciate. I anticipate using your facilities for a period not to exceed 60 days, and when the time comes to retrieve my items, I request that manpower be made available from U-Haul to load everything onto another U-Haul truck at no cost to me for the manpower and rental of truck for the inconvenience. If you feel my request is above your ability to authorize, than I request you escalate this complaint to someone that will appreciate my business, honor my request, and make me whole. Give the local store more power. I reserved online but for some reason there was an issue (my trailer was not there) and the local guys could not solve it and had to call in. There was a substitutable trailer present but I guess they could not solve the issue. Very stressful.

When I picked up truck u-haul associate informed me it was low on gas and I would have to put some in asap. Unfortunately, it ran out of gas before I could get to a gas station.

Our truck was so out if gas from the previous customer that it wouldn't start. It took an hour and a half for us to pick up our truck. The guys working were good enough to take the cost of gas off for us. I'm so glad they made it right without us having to get upset. If not for the helpful guys working there, we would have never used uhaul again.

Customers should not have to take pictures of the damage to your equipment for you (uhaul). or make sure you update the pictures on your dime not the customers. I had poor service and took forever to upload pictures of the damage. Also the owner of the location, and the person hooking up the equipment. Need to bathe and look like they do not hate their jobs

When I arrived at 5am the keys (and dolly) were not in the truck as the app described. I tried to call several phone numbers but could. It get help. I had to wait until the site opened at 7am which made my whole day late with movers. Store went to a new key box program but the app did not day that and no one told me about it even when I called to confirm a few days prior. Had to ask attendant to switch me vehicles. The one originally assigned was filthy inside and out, smelled like heavy cigarette smoke, and the sun visor was broken and hanging down in line of sight. I drive from Yakima to Bellingham snd back in the same day. U-Haul charged me nearly $900. No way this was fair or worth the cost.

No tour of the truck features, just pointed to the "back lot" and said to find the truck with the right number on it. Would have been nice to have someone go over where the various controls and features were located.

Washington State has a masking mandate for indoor spaces to mitigate the spread of COVID19 not a single U-Haul staff person had to respect for rules nor the care for their clients to wear a mask. This occurred not only in the 1st street location but also the Nob Hill location as well. If I had other choices I would never do business with your company again. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Department of Labor and Industries over this violation.

Cameron is the person to see. He took care of everything.paperwork, trucks, dollies and made sure all was good to go on time. Overall, a very pleasant experience on moving day. Cameron also checked us back in, quickly, accurately, and we were on our way. WAY TO GO CAMERON !!!

Had a problem getting into the unit because the alarm kept going off need to have a reset button when trying to put the code in. Other than that we had no other problems.

I hate that I can't access my unit 24/7. I have a very untraditional lifestyle which means I'll need to access my unit during untraditional hours, but I guess I can't because it's only for businesses. I think that's what the guy said. Anyway, thanks for being there when the need was dire, but I'd really like to access my possessions when I need to retrieve them. Maybe living in a 24/7 city screwed up my idea of "normal business" before 2020 did, haha. On the contrary- I had to switch to a bigger unit because the 5x5 was wicked small and I would have had to stack my boxes like a crazy person, so whoever the chick was who was there that Saturday helped me switch my unit that very moment without complication (at least on my end, I assume it was just as smooth on the other end, hopefully). I just moved back from Vegas and the amount of time you waste just waiting for the other end of any deal could make or break your existence there. It broke me for sure, so the quick business I've experienced with this u-haul location has been fantastic. And I REALLY appreciate how clean it is.
