the cube van was a piece of garbage with arizona plates - no kmph on dash and thus illegal to drive in Canada. the transmission is shot, and the engone is just as bad - i will never rent from uhaul again, ever

We had ordered for Mount Firest pick up along with Dollie and a bigger appliance equipment. The day before I received a call from Mount Forest we had to pick up truck in Durhsm (Ultramar). We got a truck but they didn't have any dollie and other equipment on site. It was stressful not having equipment to move the heavy items during the move. Whats the point in having an app with options to assist your move, if you don't even get them?

Very upset with the service. Too unorganized trying to look after gas station and uhaul. It was a blizzard and guy said he had truck running and cleaned off.. But didnt!! It was parked on snowbank/ice we couldnt get it out of parking spot. Our son had to hook onto it to get us out.. The guy said he couldnt help.. Vehicles are just stored there. He only rents them and if we didnt want to rent we could just move on. I was already upset about moving, the weather and i definitley didnt need a worry about the truck rental.. Ordered a fridge cart too.. And low and behold there wasnt one...he said oh sorry it was double booked

People and service and location was excellent. However the truck had broken door cables , latch wouldn’t lock down and the windshield wipers have been so worn there are threads peeling off. Luckily we didn’t have far to go in the snow weather

They can make sure that every piece of rental equipment is easily accessible and snow is cleaned out from around everything

I reserved 4 days in advance. Picked it up after paying. Got the truck, but they thought a furniture dolly was the paid for tow dolly. Well 6 hours behind, 3 different uhauls and corporate. And i still wasn't able to get a dolly to tow my car and had to make 2 trips to get my belongings 2 hours eaxh way...because it all wouldn't fit as I initially had my car also filled with my belongings. Needless to say I am not impressed and this has been the worst experience. As a single parent with no support in the area that could drive or help pay the extra fees they wanted me to pay on top of the almost 400 I already did to not have the right things. it was already a struggle to move everything. So to add the stress, frustration and wasted time on mine and my brother who was helping with the lifting as I had recently been in a car accident. It was a truly excruciating time. Will definitely think twice before going to uhaul again at this location or any...

Vehicle was not clean. It was totally cover with snow. It takes me almost 1 hour to clean the snow. I also break my personal snow cleaner to clean the snow. The snow was that much on the vehicle. Overall the experience was not good.

The trailer I rented was well maintained and everything involved with it worked perfectly. My displeasure with this location was the fact that this trailer was the only one there and it was buried in snow and frozen to the ground. It was not available to just pick up even though I booked it 2 days before. It required me to spend 20 minutes digging it out. Was not very impressed. Would have been no problem if it had been the summer and not the middle of winter.

The truck was dirty inside the back. The door was so hard to open I pulled a muscle opening it. The truck was cover in a heavy layer of snow and ice no scraper, used the one from my car. Using this on a truck was not an easy task. All around not a pleasant experience.

Booking - below poor awful service would not recommend to my worst enemy. Vehicle- unit that was supplied to us was dirty in the back had to clean up some contractors screws before they ended up in my furniture or tires because I guarantee U-Haul would not pay for a repair to my tires. Rear door was so difficult to open and would jam! Vehicles steering has a major problem and incredibly sloppy felt like a suspension component had play in it! Very dangerous! Vehicle needs to see a mechanic! And also had a serious vibration in the steering! Over all my most stressful part of my move was U-Haul booking and the vehicle itself!

The service staff were polite and did the best they could under the circumstances. However the trailer was not clean or well maintained. In addition the website pricing and the dealer pricing were different. When I pointed this out to the staff they had to phone their boss to find out how to handle the issue. When I returned the trailer the staff was unable to access the U-Haul application and were unable to close the rental agreement. I received an email later in the day acknowledging the return of the trailer. In the final analysis not an experience I plan to repeat.

The service person, while friendly, told us to go and hook up the trailer ourselves. It was buried under 2 feet of snow and I was told to grab a shovel from the front door. The person told me he had no idea how to hook it up so we had no idea if it was even connected properly when we left. When we went to drop it off at another location the people there were very rude and said he was going to charge us for having dragging chains and not washing the trailer - we went and washed it but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. There was nothing dragging as per the instructions given to us online - which are near impossible to read on a phone and the font would not increase for us to read - very disappointed.

Pickup was very slow as there was only one person to make the transaction and he was always helping other customers as it was at a service Station. There was no problems during travel time, however they were not happy with the gas left in the tank. My driver took a picture of the gas gauge and it was definitely at half. They charged me an extra fee .

The location was fine. I know there was a place in Hanover which I was not given. It was heading towards Neustadt. I was billed 150.00 on line then 150. plus when I picked up the truck. I won't be using you again. NEVER. I wouldn't recommend Uhaul to anyone. too expensive. I have car ins. so I shouldn't have to pay your insurance. more BS. gouging people. your price is fake. you should be charged.

Failed to receive trolly rented. However agent was patient with me with me and deserves credit for that. U haul should not rent accessories unless they are actually available at the pickup location.

Guy ignored me standing there waitinf for 5 min, when I asked questions he stainless looked at me and ignore. He then processed truck took him 20 min. He was an as$hole and will not deal with uhaul anymore

Waited 15 minutes to be served, while numerous other gasoline buyers were given priority. The trolley I reserved and needed for the move was not available causing delays and heavy work loading and unloading. The odometer reading was not correct on the contract, causing more than 30 min delay at the drop off.

The front fender had damage and the ramp was full of what looked to be aquarium gravel all over the ramp. We were on a tight schedule and in the rain didn't make for a good mix with the few stones caught in the tracks.

I had booked a 20’ truck from 175 Norpark Ave. Unit 26. Mount Forest with Mo, he confirmed this via text to me, what a shock when we arrived at that location and no trucks there and Mo didn’t respond to our texts. Phoned U-Haul and a lovely lady called Marji managed to arrange a pick up in Durham for a 15’ truck. Disappointed with U-Haul that they didn’t give me a deal with the extra amount we had to pay in gas.

Organization of equipment was terrible. The location was great and was able to accommodate. I did not appreciate having to drive an hour and a half to go pick up my U-Haul.

Drop off was fine but apparently the guy didn't know how to deal with the rentals and couldn't give me a receipt .... again would not recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Kiosk was blocked by stuff on the floor. Truck/Van was dirty had little fuel in it. Truck/Van had mechanical issues during travel. I think I have been double charged for this rental. I booked online with my credit card and at the store I paid with debit. I won't know until I get my bills and account updates.

One guy was running the gas station and supposed to deal with rentals. Was a very busy time and he could not get to return until later. Even though it worked out fine, didn't know for several hours what final cost would be. Not his fault, just saying

Gave us the wrong truck put us behind a day for moving, when I contacted the ultramar about the mixup they hung up on me was very rude, the girl I dealed with at the counter was super helpful and nice, it was the guy on the phone that was rude

Took 25 minutes in the gas station to get rental sorted out , truck was on empty had to put gas in before even leaving lot, truck was full of garbage in cab and body.

Have a specific person for U-Haul business at pick up and drop off locations. (Gas stations) it took almost an hour to pick up because they kept serving other customers instead of finishing with me.

I was disappointed that I found out at pick up that a fridge cart was not available. I was disappointed how long it took to pick up and return this rental. It was at least 1/2 hour for each. For a 20.00 rental this was far too time consuming and will likely go to another location next time. I have had good experiences at other locations. A rental service must be more streamlined with the customer in mind.

Absolutely nothing.... Everyone working that day was fantastic.... Very helpful with their customer skills.. We'll book with them again
