Poor service I have to wait there 1.5 hours to pick up u haul and I booked 15 feet truck they gave me 10 inch. And I paid my labor to 120$ extra for waiting so long

The truck was dead. It was parked by a dumpster. The entire first hour of my rental was spent in frustration as the battery was dead. The people in charge of the truck didn’t know how to jump it. I had to help. The jumper was dead so they went to get another. Really terrible maintenance and terrible experience overall and that’s shocking since I’ve always used U-Haul for moving

Workers were unprofessional and had little to no idea on Uhaul processes. Both workers claimed they were unable to provide a receipt of any kind after me repeatedly asking. To my surprise, I found out that they waited 24 hours to check in my vehicle , hence why I couldn’t get my receipt to begin with and I got charged for an additional day.

The store was so small we were not able to do the transaction inside. When we went outside he asked if I had a phone. When I removed it from my purse he took it from my hand and used my phone for the entire transaction.. he never reviewed the transaction or asked if I wanted the insurance that uhaul.offers. I verbally reviewed everything with him and he agreed. He then went inside and gave me a tablet and said sign here and you go. I did not know that he did not enter the correct drop iff until I dropped it off. He gave me nothing to review. I did not know until I dropped it off and that agent told me I better call you.then you charged me an extra 400 dollars. The gentleman was very inappropriate during the rental in t hff e personal questions he was asking me. I felt extremely uncomfortable and just wanted to get away. Never again

The man refused to give me the keys and the process took so much longer, even talked with a u-haul rep on the phone and he still was refusing to him me th keys…. really awful experience. Would like some compensation

The rep was unprofessional and did not honor my reservation said he had just rented the truck i reserved and instead of utilizing a truck being returned which was 15’ vs the 10’ i reserved he made me make a new reservation for the higher price and said its a uhaul thing. He was operating out of a gas station and took every customer instead of finishing the transaction timely. Would not recommend this shifty location at all

Horrible experience. Would recommend u-haul not do business with this establishment. English was a major issue and I could not understand what he was saying during the checkout process. I had already paid for the reservation at another establishment and all I understood was he said I needed to bring the truck back with the same or more fuel in the tank. I questioned him on the $78 estimate because I had already paid and I could not understand what he was saying. The Wi-Fi did not work so he had to use his cell phone, which seemed extremely shady. The manual window crank in the truck was broken. Overall, a very poor experience and I recommended to the business who I had reserved me this vehicle never to send people here again. When I was checking out the equipment, which was already paid for when I made the reservation, this should have taken a maximum of five minutes, but with other customers coming in paying for gas, the English barrier, and the lack of Wi-Fi it took nearly an hour. Horrible experience, especially when I returned the vehicle only two hours later with more gas than I left with. to learn of an $80 charge which I didn’t understand when I rented the vehicle. Overall, I will never ever recommend U-Haul to anybody and will recommend they go to Home Depot or some other service to get a rental vehicle. The $19.99 per day is completely false advertising. Since you pay by the mile I’m not even certain how this is allowed to be advertised at all.

I was not impressed with this location or personnel whatsoever. Actually, it was a bit awkward and frightening given the location and types of items sold in this store (hand blades behind the counter), paraphernalia of sorts, and odd personal questions being asked by the manager. He kept my drivers license a bit longer than i felt he needed to, and asked for several other references and phone numbers without explanation. I'll be keeping an eye on my American Express bill, that's how uncomfortable I felt. I even received a few spam calls right after I checked out which didn't sit right with me. I will never rent from this location again. No place to sit, no restroom.

Both during pick up and drop off, it seemed that the two individuals running the shop had no professionalism in their life. Asked a ton of personal information when an online request had already been made. Definitely super awkward. Would not go back here in the future.

Don't waste their time and lie that they need to sign off on the contract when they do not. Also do not scold them for having the wheels turned when the vehicle is parked straight as it does not matter at all which way the wheels are when a vehicle is parked straight. Try to allow them to checkout in sooner than 30 minutes

I’m only giving this location a 3/5 stars because the staff at the location had us walk to a neighboring gas station for our rental where they didn’t know about my reservation, just for us to have to walk right back over in the rain. Once we did finally get the vehicle, the tank was only 1/3 filled so that’s exactly how I returned it considering it wasn’t full when I got it. Besides that, I was able to get the vehicle and get the job done.

My original contract was moved 3 times ending with me settling for a smaller vehicle. To add to my dissatisfaction it took over 1 hour to check the vehicle out for my use. I will never use UHaul again !!!

There were issues checking in and returning the truck. The windshield was so filthy it was difficult to see through. The gas cap was missing on the truck. This was overall a bad experience and I may not rent from U-Haul again because of it.

They could not find my reservation once they did they did not have the truck that I reserved. They tried to contact your office but was closed. We ended renting a smaller van that we could not fit our stuff. I will never use that location or your company for that matter. I posted my experience in multiple social media.

We had an HORRENDOUS time with both our pick up and drop off, as well as with your customer service phone line, when I tried to call to complain. I am writing a separate email detailing our experience at both locations. In brief, the drop-off associate was rude, inappropriate, and awful to deal with.

Check engine light is on which then fuel economy isn't accurate as it's not running in tip top shape and with the price of gas at the moment costs the consumer more money as the truck isn't running or maintained as it should be.

The processing time during check out and check in was extremely slow. The attendant was manning the gas station mini mart in addition to his UHAUL responsibilities. I returned the rental van about 25 minutes before the 24-hour deadline; however, by the time the transaction was complete, it showed that I missed the deadline. The attendant was reasonable and didn't charge me a late fee. The store is situated in a convenient area for ingress/egress; However, the parking area is cluttered between gas station and repair shop customer vehicles, plus the rental vehicles.

Know when a customer has rented a vehicle...I showed up to pick up my rental and the people working there and the owner had no idea that I rented a vehicle...I waited 45 minutes for someone to get my keys...the owner didn't even know the combination to the lock boxes that the vehicle keys are kept in...I will never use U-Haul again.

I went there to pick up the truck but the truck is not ready, I have to go to look for the dolly and waste 25 minutes since I arrived, to return the truck another problem take about an hour to get attention due to they running another business like gas station and mechanical shop the miles was incorrect because I used 60 miles and they tried to charge me 65 my card actually have a few differents changes

The employee didn't know how to use the system to rent the Uhaul. Had to get another employee from another gas station. Truck had problems with the side door closing.

Web interface was maddening. I filled out the same information multiple times and submitted it, only to return as if I'd done nothing. I watched the video about using the smart phone to do it all, but none of that worked., I needed to wait for a certain guy at the site to untangle it all. A guy returning the truck I was to use said he had similar problems. I would advise anyone to avoid U-Haul, or at least avoid the useless web 8nterface and make the rental site do the arrangements.

Owner is completely clueless about what should do. When I’m asking him the key, he told me I should go to another gas station which I went. The owner at the other place told me I need go back the the one before! After came back then the owners for the first gas station told me oh right he should give me the key. What a joke

Focus more on serving customers needs. The moving process is stressful enough without having to deal with unfriendly representatives on the telephone. The representatives in person are much more understanding. Even though my in person experience was far better the phone representatives flawed my overall experience

The dolly in the back was just laying around inside the truck. There was trash inside of the back. There was also a light bulb just inside the front of the truck. But other than that it was fine.

Paid for and was not provided furniture pads. Asked for refund which was told would be processed. It wasn't. Had to track down owner to handle the rental, twice. Truck wasn't in correct location but adjacent lot, so the app wouldn't work for self checkout. Truck was dirty. Overall very poor experience.

Upon return, the owner expected me to parallel park the truck into a tight space. I told him no, and he asked why not. I could see he didn’t want to know why, he felt as if intimidation was necessary. I did not do it. I flatly told him no. He told me to get a photo of the mileage used and I asked him why isn’t he doing his job. He said it was my job? This guy was not helpful and bluntly expected me to provide him with customer service. By the way, the truck was not 15 feet it was 12. Plus he never told me to refill the tank, which I was then charged a premium for. Poor communication. Poor.

All trucks should be cleaned regardless if the doesn’t sweep out the back people uses these trucks and they transport a lot stuff so the company should or the distributor should make sure the cab area is sprayed and swiped down and the seat belts should be sprayed as well and some type notice left in the vehicle so the customer doesn’t worry if it’s been cleaned and the rear department should be swept out regardless if it appear to be swept and sprayed as well. Before I loaded my items I swept and sprayed for myself and my family’s safety. I hope this is very helpful🙂

The truck smelled like weed and smoke. The back of the truck was not clean. It was difficult to pick up the keys. I had to go to the gas station next to it to get a paper to then get the keys. It was not all done at the one address location.

This location seemed a little sketchy since it wasn't a regular U-haul facility. The attendant was very nice but the procedure to drop off the vehicle was unorthodox. He gave us a phone number to text our milage to. He then asked us if we had filled up our vehicle and we told him we did not receive the vehicle full. He then said to text a photo of our first receipt that had the amount in the tank upon pick up to the phone number we texted the milage to. Did not like the whole texting transaction. Was not comfortable leaving the truck. We told him we actually filled the gas tank up to the 3/4 tank line which was more than the amount in the tank when we picked it up. Was disappointed to get a second charge to our account for going 7 miles over the alloted 59 miles in the contract. Especially when we put in additional gas. With the milage, you need to give 10 miles over the actual milage alloted from point A to point B. What if you get lost and add on milage.

Picking up the truck took forever -- the guy was having trouble with the U-Haul app in his phone, and I ended up paying about 30% more than I should've: I was charged SafeMove Coverage, which I had specifically declined, and $3.75 for the so-called EZ Fuel, while the price of gas in our area currently does not exceed $2.29.

The furniture pads and dolly were not in the truck at pickup. I had to go to another location for them, after driving 45 miles for an available truck. I was told the cost ($20) would be credited back; it hasn't been.

I only drove this truck for 23 miles and use it for about 2 and a half hours and I paid more for this truck than the one I rented last Wednesday for a full day from a uhaul store. I thought I was going to use it for 30 miles but I did not. I only used it for 23 miles. When I told him to corrected it he said that there was nothing he could do. I put $5 dollars of gas and left it with the same gas I picked it with. if there is cameras you can see when I did it. But the next day I received a different bill wehere the miles were corrected but the gas level was totally diferent from where I left it So I got charged $15 dollars more in Gas. I endup paying a total of $20 just on gas. I told him I did not want insurance but He told me that he could not take it off and that whoever made my reservation add it the insurance. and there as nothing he could do. So He charged me another $15 dollars. I will make sure I share my horrible experience with this guy at this location with everybody I can, And please Uhaul Company this is not the way to keep loyal customers. You are going to lose with this guy

*When I arrived the dealer wasn't there and I had to wait extra time causing my move to be an hour behind. *I was asked to check in a second time after doing it the night before online *When the funds were withdrawn I was double billed and upon calling the dealer I was told its Uhaul's fault - did not take any responsibility for his part *Just overall not pleased with my experience. Will not use that location ever again.
