I had issues with the mobile app. I have an Android and the pictures required would not take slowing down the check in and return process. I had to use my wife's iPhone. However the customer service walked me through it and they were very helpful and patient.

dolly should be put on vehicle when rented - mine was not interior of the cab had scent of cigarette - I'm an ex-smoker and sensitive to this smell in particular I'm not sure that I can recommend U-Haul - the customer service where I picked up the vehicle was exceptional; however, U-Haul does not allow its rental partners the opportunity to make decisions to make the rental experience exceptional. One recommendation would be to simplify the whole rental process in favour of the customer and the customer-facing dealer.

Truck was new therefore in great condition however cab was very dirty with mud everywhere. Had to wash the interior twice. Staff was very polite.

Location was helpful. Truck was not available on time despite guaranteed reservation. Charged for gas even though I put some in. Only went 20 km total. I had to pay movers extra for waiting around while I waited for truck.

The mobile pickup & drop-off service is terrible, very buggy and very frustrating. The form asks for your month and year of birth and DL expiry in a certain order but requires them in the reverse order. I waited over 10 minutes with the chat window for an agent to process my info. The photo upload piece is not clear as to whether it has worked or not and is ready for next one. The return process was even worse and fell apart at the photo of odometer step. I was using an Iphone X

For this job I rented two dolly's, furniture dolly and 3 dozen blankets, none of which were provided. Please let me know my money for those items should be returned. Also mileage was a lot less than the 25 km quoted. Thank you.

The Uhaul computer system was extremely slow and took multiple attempts to work, wasted half hour standing there waiting. The guy called uhaul tech support and they couldn't help.

The staff mocked me when I observed to them that no furniture blankets were in the vehicle when I picked it up before the hours that the location was open. I will never visit that location again for any reason. They were utter trash. I am actually embarrassed for there total lack of professionalism. I resent the $10 that I was charged for blankets that I booked that weren't there.

the van does not have snow tires which would have been helpful as there was black ice and the van did not perform well on a slight incline

Systems were down when I can to pickup the vehicle, was told everything was going to be sent via email. Truck was dirty on the inside and smelt like smoke, but being a work truck can't say that it was overly dirty. However upon receiving my invoice I saw that I was charged for over 350 miles worth of travel when in actuality I only travelled 55kms. I have opened a case with U-Haul reference number 2058833 and they're investigating the issue. Thanks

I rent from this location frequently, upon pick up the computer kept freezing up which rendered my reservation and stressfree pick up mute! The whole transaction took over 45 minutes!! There was only 1 person working, stafff chatting in the aisles of the store rather than tending to customers AND I was charged a cleaning fee -$30 when the van was filthy when I received it. I returned it in the condition it went out, I'm not sure why I need to pay for someone else's mess!

The service was excellent, I found it very easy and exceptionally fast to rent and get into the vehicle. The only issues I had was that I was not able to drop the vehicle off near where I moved to. Apparently it is due to the fact that it is not a FULL U-Haul location, but a counter in a Home Hardware. However, the gentlemen I dealt with, both on the phone and in person, were exceptionally helpful and made the process easy, which helped lessen my anxiety. Thank you!

Worst U-Haul experience since I've been renting from U-Haul over the last 14 months. Truck seats were covered in dog hair, there were empty pop bottles and garbage left in the trunk, and the rep at the Home Hardware taking in my return, Merv, didn't seem to care. I will definitely not go back to this location & will even go as far as to consider another company like Penske. I hope someone calls me back as I was thoroughly disappointed.

They do not answer the phone even when you call repeatedly. Their "19.95" is a total hoax. They add all kinds of fees, expect to pay three to five times how much they are advertising. The van smelled terrible and was dusty and dirty. I recommend looking into every other possible option before renting a van from Uhaul.

I rent cargo vans every 2 months, never would I use this location again. The van smelled like urine, never cleaned, and was disgusting. I tied my matress to a friend car because of how dirty truck was.

People here seemed to be very annoyed that they have to deal with customers. The guy who inspected the vehicle upon return basically talked to me when he's ten feet away facing away from me... And kept walking really fast.

You owe me $657. Where's my money you accidentally charged to my credit card? Staff couldn't access Uhaul account on line, Uhaul contract kept over charging my card, staff didn't know how to fix it and told me my money was refunded to my card on Saturday June 30th, it still has not gone back on my card as of July 02 2018.I Sat on hold with Uhaul two days before I was to move for two hours and still did not get through.I was informed by Uhaul in Bolton Ontario they over booked my truck and I had nothing to move with, they then found me a cargo van. It was $61.00 but the system charged me $719.WHERE'S MY MONEY, PLEASE HELP!

It was an easeful process and the customer service was terrific. Only issue was I booked the day previous but the site did not have any information so they're may not have been a vehicle ready if somewlse had come to this location as a walk in. Had to go through the booking process again. Otherwise it went just perfect

You cancel my booking with out me knowing till I arrive for the pick up on steels, and had to last minute go to bolton. I live in Mississauga. Now have to return only at the pickup location. A lost of money and time for me.

The truck smelled like it was used for farm animal transport and we gagged the entire drive. The floor in the back was also disgusting, . It had mud or animal poop ground into the rubber mat. The vehicle should have been power washed before rented to a customer. I am disgusted.

the reading on the fuel gauge when i got in the vehicle was not the same as what they said, I did not think to dispute this as I was going to add fuel before I returned it,. I drove the 9' van 20 km and added 4.5 L of fuel, as that should be more than enough to cover the trip. the worker did not ask if i added fuel, just went out checked the gauge then charged me for the fuel as it was now down the where it started. I did not notice until i got home that he had done so. that is poor way to operate,
