I reserved an early pickup. The yard is huge and the trucks are parked among other businesses so you have to wanted around until you find the truck you need. Instructions said key would be in the back. It wasn't. Searched most obvious places without luck Called support within the app. On hold for 8 minutes waiting for anyone to pickup before it hung up on me. Officially the hours said they weren't open yet, but I walked back to the front and found a person who found the key. It was in the cab in the sun visor. After a stupid check out process where I couldn't take the pictures because the truck was pinned between other trucks and a wall, I finally left. Returning the truck didn't work. 20 minutes in the sun trying to get your app to work. It would not proceed. Reset everything and tried again. Had my wife try on her phone with same error. Can't check out. So walked back to the front and gave the guy my keys. It's not their fault your app is garbage, but it doesn't help their case. Overall horrible experience for way too much money. Will not be using uhaul again.

The man at the counter gave me attitude when I asked for the equipment I paid then they screwed me out of $70 worth of bubble wrap and packing paper I paid for but didn’t receive. The way they handled their screw up was terrible. I never got the packing materials I needed and paid for. I will continue to use the U-Haul motel location before ever trying these guys again. Will also not use any of the other services they offer at this location.

CATHERINE MThey did not have the appliance dolly or the furniture dolly that I purchased ready in the truck. I picked up the truck after 5:00, so there wasn't anyone to speak to at the store. I had a crew of guys to help me move large items and I could not accomplish this without the dolly's. Total waste of time. I would not recommend Universal Rentals for anyone trying to decide which location to rent from.

MARY BI was surprised to find it was closed at noon on a Saturday! The process for getting the truck was challenging, luckily my work supervisor was available to verify my employment. Also, the corporate helpline tech was helpful.
