I’ve rented from U-Haul more than 20+ times. By far this one is the best. Communication is excellent, friendly, informative, and overall a great experience.
Angela LFolks seemed disorganized, but it was right at opening time. Everything else was fine.

Levi Sonline/self check in is awful and don’t recommend it for anyone. first things first, it didn’t detect my location and kept telling me i wasn’t close enough although i was parked right outside of the office next to my rented uhaul. i then call customer service who transferred me to tech support because she could see the app was telling me i was still a mile away, although i was stillllll sitting next to the uhaul outside of the office. this lady then takes 20 minutes to walk me through all of my settings that were already turned on. i will say, the only thing good was that they did change my reservation time to 830 since it took so long to get checked in but i don’t recommend self check in for anyone.

James VUniversal Storagw was great. It was everything else about uhaul that sucked. And my account was never credited the $50 for the inconvenience of not being able to get a truck in Baldwin costing me $40 in mileage that it should have cost me. I requested the truck way in advance. Then was treated like crap my customer service because you couldn't get me one. Very frustrating. The whole experience was bad. The fact that my address will not update in your system or my payment info. ALSO WHERE IS MY CREDIT????
Mary MThere was no appliance dolly for our order. We had to go back to the store when they opened. This out is behind on our moving schedule. And the guy who helped us was rude as hell about is not having the dolly.

Lynate PThe building was a little hard to find at 1601 w 23rd street. Ste 200. I would suggest some bigger signs on the front. Other than that everything was great.
CHRISTINA GIt would have heped the representative at the drop off location that I chose in Lawrence KS i someone would have put my info in the Uhaul system correctly so the representative where I dropped the truck off at would not have had to drive it across town to drop it off at another location. They were so very accomodating and helpful even though my reservation was NOT in their system like it should have been.

Jerold NThe location was out of padding blankets. The truck was a bit dirty on the outside and in the driver’s cabin, but the storage compartment was clean. I was not able to figure out how to readjust the rear view mirrors - no button / impossible to readjust manually.
ZARINA ATrying to pick up and return the truck through online was a mess. I got rejected for both multiple times which really set me back on my move and I got charged extra for the return because the odometer picture wouldn't be accepted
Dylan SWas called twice to switch locations because the one closest didn’t have supplies. I showed up at this location and they had none of the supplies I needed. I had to drive across town and they didn’t have the supplies either.

Candy CI would only recommend if they go into the store We were supposed to have a 24/7 pickup after hours. By 11 pm that night I still did not have a truck. They sent us to Ottawa Ks and the truck was actually in Kansas City Kansas over 2 hours

JAMES SMy understanding was that U-Haul were to close at 3pm on 24 Dec 2020. This office was closed at 1:46pm.
CURTIS CHad a 4:00 reservation I got there before 4 Location had sign in window be back at 430. Thought it was set up would I wouldn't have to go to a counter. Check-in online said go to counter. Finally got a truck by 5. So I had (paid) movers waiting on truck for an hour. Paying 4 people by the hour.... Screwed us because your system failed me
Patricia GOrdered a dolly and was not in the truck when I arrived. When I called, there was not one available. Had to have it refunded but made my moving alot harder than it shouldve been.
Victoria WEasy to park, good staff, accommodating location for key drop off location. Parking lot not crowded (but technically not a uhaul truck depot).
Richard PI did the ride share option, it was a horrible experience, half the time the app did not work and I had to go back and re-input the pictures and descriptions. I had to dispute everything because there was dents, dings, and scratches throughout that were not marked. A horrible experience......definitely not worth admission....Not to mention I checked into the app before the store closed, it was not working, called the store continually from 4:40 - 5:00 PM, even though they closed at 5:00 PM no body answered so I could arrange to pick up the truck at 5:00 PM with a person. I hurried down to their office before 5 PM and there was nobody there.........frustrating......why close at 5 PM if you are not there until 5 PM.......will never use this site again.............................
James MI placed NA only because I had to follow up with them to get the truck return done. It was due back that Saturday, but able to return it on Friday. Otherwise went smoothly.
Paul FWinch windshield was dirty inside and out, floorboard was dirty and the back storage component had stains on it and smelled.

Deanna PI waited 2 hours for my truck which made me pay movers for not working. The truck was dirty inside- but I didn't take a picture because I had to get moving. The supplied I had paid for were not in the truck. It was a horrible experience.
