One of the better trucks I have rented from Uhaul (which have always been more than okay). This one had just over 7,000 miles, so it was in especially good condition. My first time renting from Upper Valley Plow, I was quite pleased with them. Personable, professional, would rent from them again -- especially because their quoted rate was significantly less than the larger competing dealer nearby. Uhaul Hyannis was their usual friendly, efficient selves, meeting me at the door, collecting the keys, and getting me on my way. My ONLY complaint with the entire rental was that the washer fluid was either empty or frozen (it's been stupid cold in the Upper Valley); not being able to clear the windshield made for a frustrating winter drive. Other than that, everything was great.

MICHAEL OUhaul called this location the "White River Junction" location and we planned our pick up accordingly. But it is actually located in Hartland VT, 15 minutes further away. This miscommunication caused us to be late for our pickup. The representative graciously stayed late to accommodate us.

Ronald BPick up took 45 minutes, the support tech had to assist the owner and argued with him over the way to process the reservation. I was billed for extra miles despite the person who booked my reservation telling me she was going to put extra miles on my booking due to Lebanon not having the truck I needed.

JIL CThe one star is for Uhaul not the garage who tried to help me. I don't have anything against the man who tried to check me in...but the webpage/reservation number I gave him and he was working with did not honor the same offer as when I reserved the truck. The webpage insisted I had a new price and there was nothing I could do but pay it since I was in the middle of moving. I would have never have signed up for the original deal with drop off location if I knew that was going to happen. It seemed trickery to me. Someone explained that Uhaul tries to get the customer to drop off trucks where Uhaul wants them. I won't ever recommend Uhaul to anyone.
DONNA MApp was horrible. It took 40 minutes to go through the lock box procedures due to app not working properly, slow approval time, and slow customer support over the phone. I had to change my booking 3 times because the process took 40 minutes but only 30 were alotted. Calling was useless because representatives said they had no control over the app and couldn't help give me the code over the phone.

MARYKAY BMy experience was horrible it took about an hour to make the deal the price was all over the place until the manager finally corrected it the place in East Montpelier was closed but fine they had other trailers right there. U-Haul doesn’t seem to know where they have equipment. I tried to get a trailer one place but they didn’t have the one I needed so they sent me to a place farther away finally my called upper valley plow and they had one I don’t ever want to deal with U-Haul again
WILLIAM MTell people that the container will NOT be accessible ON SITE and that they will have to TRAVEL to the uhaul place if they want to add more to the container.

Clayton BNever rent an unsafe vehicle to anyone! Take the time to verify that the vehicles are safe!!! Educate your employees to handle situations like this when a complaint is brought to their attention. Train your employees on procedures and policies. Make sure they are on the same page and telling your customers the same thing on both ends. This was totally unacceptable!

Tina BWe believe that we were overcharged in White River Jct, VT when we returned the Uhaul. We were told if we returned it early we would not be charged the full amount, and that we would only be charged for two days instead of four. We busted our butts off to get it unloaded the same day we arrived back and returned it as soon as they opened Monday morning. We were told that it should have been only two days, but they didn't know how to fix it. Not happy!!!!!!

James MWe struggled with the drop off location. One version of my check-in had accepted UHaul Moving and Storage of Middletown as my drop off location, but we tried to assign Portland Citgo. I finally read my text messages to solve it. These guys were exasperated with me by the time I left. I tried to show them respect when leaving.
James NThis was the first time that I have ever dropped a truck off at this location. It was dark when I got there so couldn't really see too much. Just parked the truck, dropped the keys in the box and left with my daughter who met me there. Location was easy to find.

jesse ethe location that I dropped off had a new guy working there also but after trying to deal with uhaul on the phone and got transferred to some messages that tried to sell me something over and over, he found a number for traffic to finally change the drop off to the same location as car carrier and I really am confused on why the guy from Leominster couldn't do that. when I called him.
