First everything was through the phone there location was empty there wasent a person to talk to or that could help me with my questions .there wasen't alot if cellphone signal so it was really hard to do the pickup/return through the phone, i paid for a utility dolly it cost me $7 when we open the truck it wasent there, there wasent anyone to help me give me one, i called customer service they said they take off my final bill that not through they still charge me for it even though i had to buy my own cause there wasent any store that could provide one for me. I return the haul at the appropriate time but since there no signal i sat there for half an hour before i decided to just go home and finish the process using our wifi and in the final bill they are charging for leaving on a later time which it not true. Plus i payed for 30 miles i only used 12 and i didnt get my money back for that. Awful place never going back there i gather pay extra and pick it somewhere else than go back there againJerika M.
Have the facility staffed with a person, or at the very least inform the renter that the location is not staffed, and is Uhaul app only. The key to my specific truck, was NOT in the key safe that was specific. The key was actually inside the drop box. Only after accessing the drop box, were we able to get the key. There was nobody at the pick up facility, who was able to provide assistance, had we not been able to access the dropbox, we would have been SOL. The only assistance available was via uhaul rep on the phone. This was a extremely unpleasant experience.Jesse S.

This should be listed as self service location. There is never a person there and they do not pick up their phone. If someone doesn't have service for the app to work they have to call the uhaul number like I did. It was very inconvenient.Macallister C.

I was promised a u haul close to the Albany Airport as that's where we flew into, this location was almost an hour away which added Uber fare and 2 plus hours to our already long drive. I was directed to get uhaul trailer by person in Albany to pick up at Amsterdam location- the people at that location were not there - the wife of one of workers came out and told me to contact Albany rep to set up contract- the rep in Albany said for me to hook up trailer and give her my credit card for contract that she would send to my phone - the trailer was not inspected and I found out the lights were not working- it was dangerous and I just could not believe the service I received- I've dealt with uhaul before and never have been more disappointed- at least the place I dropped it off was going to fix it before someone's else life would be at risk as I felt mine wasJOE P.

There was nobody at the office. When I called I went through 5 different people to get the job done and wasted 50 minutes of time on a project that had to be done. After it was all done and bought the truck back. The lady that I had to call back was VERY NICE and made my day better. Thank you!MIchael R.

Uhaul was a disgrace I'm putting a lawsuit on uhaul my stuff was left out in the streets the uhaul company charged me right away for the truck and for 2 helpers to help me move my furniture it so happened the helpers never came out the uhaul truck had to be returned I was being charged for the mileage used to take to the uhaul to my house were the helpers SUPPOSEDLY qas supposedly meet me at my money didnt get returned so I can hire somebody else but was just a disgrace I definitely dont advice anybody yo deal with uhaul just terribleBrendanis R.

The associate at USA Mattress did everything she could to help me on short notice. I thank her for working online to get me and the trailer on my way. In reality, my appointment was supposed to be at Limitless Auto on STHWY 30, Amsterdam. When I arrived, there was no trailer for my appointment, even though we had called the day before to confirm reservation which was made several weeks earlier. The guy there was rude and stated "I don't know anything. They've got us locked out. Call the 800 number". It wouldn't surprise me if I found out that he rented it out to someone else under the table earlier in the day. LIMITLESS AUTO NO GOOD.Jon S.

The estimate I was given for the rental online was about $300 less than the amount I was charged after I arrived to pick up the truck and car dolly, which I was not prepared for. The rental agent had sent her husband to a different location to pick up the truck and I was told he was the one who inspected it for roadworthiness. The trucks suspension was lacking, the seats were uncomfortable, the brakes screeched during stops...and I ended up so bruised and battered by the road trip from NY to FL I had to take a couple additional days off to recover because I was in so much pain from being thrown around in the cab... I will never again give uhaul my business, this truck was terrible. I would invite management to take the same road trip so they can experience the nightmare for themselves.tammy H.

These people were great, very helpful and personable on the phone and in person. Went the extra mile to find me the truck I needed. Their location was 2 miles from where I had to be which helped tremendously. The other location I would have tried was closed Sunday AND Monday. Not good.Jeffrey C.
My 1st location did not go well. They were not open at 9 am I had to call and the owner showed up at 20 after 9. He did not have my truck because the previous person did not have it back in time. He did call around to see if I could pick it up elsewhere. The person at usa mattress was wonderful and I appreciate her coming in to help me.Timothy M.

I originally had a 20 ft truck reserved at a different facility, and when I got there they had no 20 ft truck. After a phone call, I was told I had to drive 30+ minutes to get what I reserved. Not good. USA Mattress had a 15ft truck available only 5 minutes from the original pick up location, and the agent was more than accomodating to get me in. TruckGary C.
