I booked for one location but always assigned to a different one and given a contact number that was out of service. I declined insurance and it was added. Need to get everyone on the same page as this caused a lot of confusion.

The reservationist was very good, helpful and pleasant. The location was not good, the place was disorganized and I waited around 20 minutes to speak to someone via phone to complete the check out. The return not much different, two guys looked like I was bothering them when I came to drop it off. They walked around the vehicle, told me to take a picture of the gas gauge and odometer and send it it in...they didn't say send it while I was at the lot. When I got home it wouldn't let me send it, called the toll free line spoke to Deena and she was awesome. She walked me through everything, sent me her email so I could send her the pictures and reassured me everything would be ok...as, I was little concerned about the way the drop off was handled.

To begin with, a person representing U-Haul should be on the premises and know what is expected of them. I had to speak with someone on the phone both upon pick up and return who ultimately admitted they did not know all of U-Haul’s policy. Secondly, trucks should be maintained and clean. My truck was filthy, the left signal did not work, and I wound up getting a flat.

Took to long to check in the van and not the proper employee the to release the van and check it in
