It took over 40 minutes to pick up the U-Haul.

First, I never spend time to write a complaint. This facility, you should know about. I scheduled my pick up for 5:00 PM to 5:00 PM. I get there and the person was sitting on a chair outside talking on the phone. I stand at the counter thinking that someone else was there. I waited several minutes and walked back out and asked for help. The woman said she could not help me with Uhaul, that I would need to come back. Knowing my movers was coming the next morning at 7:00 AM, I asked if I could just come back and get the truck in the morning at 7:00 AM and she shook her head yes, never stopping talking to who she was talking to on the phone. Saturday morning, I get and the place was closed, the sign on the door said they open at 9:00 AM. I had to wait until 9:00, get the truck and drive it back to my house and lost two hours of my movers time to load the truck. I had to end up loading the truck on my own to avoid the price of keeping the movers and making an additional trip to storage. I have used the service here enough in the last 30 years., The service here and the people were absolutely awful.

The truck was dirty, old and door was rusted out. And while I did go over my expected mileage for the haul, I never imagined spending over $300 for 24 rental. I’m highly disappointed and have used U-Haul for almost all of my moving needs in the past but I will NEVER use them again!

The customer service was excellent. However, my bill reflects increases that I do not understand. The orginial receipt states the safe move coverage is $15.00, however the final receipt charged me $30.00. Additionally, the orginial rental charge says $29.95, but the final receipt charged me $59.90. The total amount due when I rented the truck, based on the mileage was $159.45, however, I was charged $211..08. Even the environmental fee changed from $1 to $2. It appears UHaul is sneaking increases in the billing and ripping people off or hoping they don't catch this. Either way, I am not happy about the changes in fees, as this is sneaky and unauthorized. I will be calling corporate.

I returned my uhaul rental 2.5 hours after I picked up the truck. The owner of the gas station wasnt there to close out the rental, so the associate assisting me stated the owner would close out when she could. Owner closed the rental the next morning, resulting in me paying an additional $30 for no fault of my own. Would not recommend location.

No one was there just dropped truck off. No indication of where to put truck and had to call to verify return and they had not processed it 16 hours later. Phone customer service helped me resolve issue

I have been charged $25:00 for cleaning. The truck was returned exactly the way we received it. We didn’t eat, drink, or smoked in the track , there were no trash left anywhere. I don’t understand why they did that.

Personally, I do not think this location should have a U-Haul business. It’s a gas station. They’re not competent to be a U-Haul center.

The experience on pickup was great, even though the U-Haul app ahead of time caused me potential issues. I received the confirmation link and had a contactless pickup option that i was not interested in doing because I wanted no issues at pickup and was not sure about the process. It with that option it had a separate link that said "find out more" so I clicked on that to find out more and see if it was something I wanted to try, which it wasn't. Bottom line, by clicking on that to find out more it converted me to contactless. Luckily when I got there the person was great and still willing to assist me, which may not have been the case if they were busy as the location is a Sunoco station and the attendant is the store clerk. Talking to her, it sounded like I was not the first person to have this issue, so maybe U-Haul needs to take a look at this process.

Close this location don’t use it. Don't change location somewhere without checking with person first on app. My pick up location was supposed to be an actual Uhaul location closer to me and they (Uhaul) changed it to a gas station location further away because apparently my original pick up location didn’t have what I requested. This new location at the gas station did not even have the items I had ordered and the original location had everything I needed so I don’t even know why my pick up location was changed. The process to check in took almost a hour to even get the rental and they didn’t seem to know what they were doing at all. My pick up time was also supposed to be 8 AM and the gas station location didn’t even open until 9 AM. It was a terrible experience. Next time I need to ever use I will be going in to the actual Uhaul building to order the Uhaul and not use the app/website. The tank was also pretty much on E when we picked it up. We had enough fuel to do what we needed though and filled it back up to where it was after we were done.

Incorrect hours listed on the website. They open an hour later than posted. Sit in the parking lot waiting for the person for an hour. Slammed with insurance coverage I already declined on the initial reservation. Charged for moving pads I never received, then charged again for not returning them. Truck had damage to the right front fender that wasn't listed in the inspection. The list goes on...it is being run out of a gas station and evidently the people running it have little experience. I guess I'll pay the price for their incompetence but only once. Next time I'll go somewhere else.

The lady who received the truck was super helpful and attentive to my needs. She even contacted someone about me not receiving the blankets or dolly… although U-Haul has not contacted me to let me know that I will not be changed for them.

I scheduled a pick up time through The website for 1030 when I got to the location I’m pretty sure they made me fill out an entirely new purchase after what I had already paid for. I had to wait because the person Operating counter had no idea how the U-Haul system worked and said that I hadn’t scheduled anything so then Someone else had to drive from another location to come and meet me and it was all very confusing and time consuming

There was alot of fees involved when i returned the truck on time filled it up with gas as well and cleaned it out. Not to mention didnt move far it was 15 miles, and the water pump was making noise i know this because i am a mechanic by trade, and i only made 2 trips at most used 50 or 60 miles

Incompetent and rude. Have yet to receive a final bill that I was told would be emailed to me. The original location I booked with had not changed address on website. Found the new site but person did not show up so I was sent to gas mart. This took 45 minutes...in the mean time I had movers waiting on me and on the clock. Uhaul cost me an extra $120 due to all this issue. Called manager at original booking...completely indiffernt...said call corporate in Arizona. Never again.
