The truck given to me on empty. I had to immediately go too the gas station. I was promised a discount on the return of the vehicle for gas, which was not honored. Vehicle was brought back with the gas amount that would honor said discount. Very Dissatisfied Customer

I returned a lock and receipt for refund, they kept the lock and receipt and have not heard back whether I will get my refund or not. This should be done in a timely manner especially if people are moving out of the area or traveling.

I ordered a one way trip. I was told I would be given a discount if I dropped the uhaul off on Boca Raton I agreed. I received a email with drop off location in wesr Coconut Creek it was a longer ride extra millage.

Not for using a tow dolly. You guy’s need to properly inspect all equipments to make sure they are in proper working condition for a customer. To miss a mechanic shop appointment for getting your vehicle fix because of the tow dolly not properly working to strapping a car down is very upsetting.

Have knowledgeable people answering the phone. Representative did not know where the location was - said she was not at the site. Could not give proper directions properly. Location did NOT have personnel even though the recording said they were opened until 8pm. I got there at 6:10 pm. When I called, rep apologized and said she would have the manager call me. More than 24 hours later I am still eating for the call back.

It was an overall really great experience, except for the returning of the vehicle, which was not explained to me thoroughly and resulted in me having to call U-Haul Customer service to avoid addiction charges. But besides that, would definitely recommend.

Find a way to improve your U-Haul service. On July 27 I Had a reservation for a 20 foot truck [to set up a summer camp for children with cancer]. No such truck was available and I had to drive a 26 foot truck deep into the woods of birch state park. At that first rental, Andrea re-confirmed my reservation for this past Sunday… A 20 foot truck. When I arrived Sunday morning, no such truck was available! AGAIN!! The half hour delay caused a ripple effect that ruined our closing ceremony with the parents. In the end, I was given a 15 foot truck, which was barely enough for us to complete our work. I am truly has a tent to rent a truck from you again next year. And that is inconvenient as I also have a storage unit for the camp [ Camp fiesta]. So we are considering moving. This was a high level of incompetence. You should work on your customer service [although I have no complaint about the individuals with whom I dealt… Just the reservation system!]

I was uninformed about the key drop off for after hours. The salesman advised me I had to bring back the key before their office closed which was 6 pm. Had I known about the after hours key drop off I could have completed my move that day.

The experience was great, however I have already picked up my drop off location online and for some reason it was not showing a rental time. I gave my one way destination to the lady and she suggested the drop off location to be a West Park instead of Weston. My one way would have been closer if I have just returned the truck to the pick up location. I realized I could have called and changed the drop off location, but I was exhausted because I had to return the truck by 11 am, even though I had rented the truck at 11:40 am. Also, the gas in the truck was not an exact measure. It was a guesstimate. I was told to returned it at the same line, and I did however I was charge 10 extra dollars. The drop off location people were really short in their answers. There was one guy in the entire parking lot doing all the work while the others were doing who knows what. So I had to wait for this guy to finish checking out two customers before he got to me. He was very nice and apologetic. But what the heck were the other guys doing? I approached them at one point and they said please wait.. In short, the truck worked great - the equipment was perfect, but there are a few issues with logistics and people that could have been better.

Staff was fun and very professional. My ONLY complaint is my rental van smelled of urine, so I made sure I was not charged a cleaning fee, by accident. I will definitely recommend the UHaul location to friends. Thank you!

The manager was not friendly. He was rude. I will never rent that location again. I rent there at least once a week. His name is John Halpine the new manager. The old manager was very friendly and nice to work with. I am a retired military guy. This guy has a very bad attitude .

While the truck rented were clean, I noted three latent defects that the store owner is not aware of. This has been communicated to the store owner. 1) Driver side door has a gap, crating "loud wind sound" when driving over 40 mph 2) The truck pulled to the right just a bit. This is alignment or low inflated tire. Need to check. 3) Passenger side has grinding chain sound that is heard when the windows is rolled down.

I declined the CDW coverage and because I returned the truck during after hours I still was charged. It also took an hour to get the paper work correct for the rental. Awful experience!

Have vehicles that don't have marijuana joints in them. Don't ask customers to bring back vehicles with more gas than they were given the vehicle with. Don't have agents argue with the customer when they dispute the total cost of the rental.

The Manager seems to be a bit uptight and may have an issue with the type of people in that neighborhood. However, the truck and it's performance was spot on.
