The location where I picked up and returned the vehicle was awesome. From interaction with the clerk upon arrival and departure, the pick up and return went smoothly. My greatest concern was with the U-Haul company, specifically. During the course of my rental, I misplaced the keys to the truck. I was at Walmart and it was piercingly hot. I called my AAA and was informed they could bot open a U-Haul rental. I must call the U-Haul help line. I called the help line and was on hold for 2 hours and 13 minutes and eventually disconnected. I called again and simultaneously went online and completed the request for help because of a lockout. I waited another 4 hours and no response.No one ever picked up the phone whole holding either. I had to resort to finding a friend of a friend to move my daughter (which costed me $400). I had no way of getting the U-haul back to the rental location so I put a request on social media for anyone who could open the truck. A guy responded that he could for $75. I paid him and he came and opened the truck. He also helped me look for the keys and he found them. I had inadvertently left them on top of the tru k. I finally was able to get the truck back to the location after spending $475. How is it that no one picked up the phone nor responded to my online request.Carletha S.

The trunk that I reserved was not there when I came to pick it up so I was given a larger truck for the same price. I really didn't want this truck but I had no other choice. The woman told me that I would be getting a $50 dollar credit because the tuck I reserved was not available I brought this truck back hours earlier and she was so happy because another customer was waiting for his truck. When I asked again about the $50 she said yes that I would be getting it. When we went inside she proceeded to call a manager then when she got off the phone she told me that I would not be getting the $50. I was extremely upset. She told me that since she gave me the larger truck that it didn't apply. She never even appologized for telling me that I was going to get the money twice! After seeing how angry I was she had me sit there and wait for another 15-20 minutes while she was typing on the computer never communicating with me. She finally said that she would refund my $48 for the truck. What a horrible experience!!! Terrible customer service!MERYL S.

While the customer service was excellent, courteous, and very professional, the actual equipment (cargo van) was dirty. After each use, the vehicles should be sanitized - no question it should be mandatory. When ask the question if the vehicle had been santitized, the employees could not say for sure that it had been. Additionally, there is no accountability or record keeping to verify, if the equipment has been santitized.Solomon W.

They didn't do the walk around around the vehicle when I dropped it off on Saturday. The told me they would check it in and that I would get a receipt via email which NEVER HAPPENED! When I called on Monday asking for my receipt, they claimed I never gave them the key! I described who I have the key to and told them that I had asked repeatedly to do the walk around. Only after threatening to contact the corporate office did the keys suddenly show up. Very clean location but customer service IS HORRIBLE!!shelly R.

The rep was ok but the issue is things happen so you can't up sell a person then demand they return because of other reservations. My truck I originally ordered was not available why broken window no my problem do say you have something you don't just to make money. I could've went else where. Truck was dirty with food inside trash I did clean it out but it drove excellent the very first 26 footer I drove was horrible and it was scary to drive issue with storing wheel. To be specific and issue with self registration. Like uhaul needs better system software as well it took too long to get that truck almost and 2 hrs for system issues.Jonekia J.

I rented the truck for 3 days. I left furniture inside truck for a day since I didn't have time to take it out due to work then when I went to unload it my whole couch was soaking wet, as well as my 2 rugs and my television all which are damaged now and the television is garbage since water got inside of it ðŸ˜– when I rented the truck it smelled strange but I didn't think anything of it but now I know why, it had a leak in the roof.Anna P.

The AC was not working and because of rainfall I had to close the windows and it was suffocating me. I wasn't able to drive comfortably. It became a hell of a ride. I'm not sure what the location can do as it is an unfortunate reality of where it's located apparently. I didn't realize the spot was dangerous, although I should have noted that as they have to beep you into the uhaul rental location. I dropped the uhaul off at 8:15 pm and before I could get into my Uber, I actually nearly got robbed. A man came up to me and took my phone from my hand as he was screaming at me and my Uber driver and it got pretty serious as we had to drive while the door was open. I wouldn't do this again.Cody M.

When I arrived there they had rented out my truck the day before and it was not supposed to be returned until an hour after my reservation. I was paying movers by the hr and this was not acceptable plus the girls didn't think guy would be back with truck by 10 am. The girl started to search for another truck at different facility and told me that uhaul.com always does this and next time I should know to call facility directly. I immediately called 1800 u haul and after 36:23 minutes finally my call was picked up and at same time the guy with my truck returned. I was told for my stress from mgr. to take one pack of pads free yet I was still charged for both packs of pads. Then was told I had to have it back by 6 pm that evening which I did even though girl at uhaul 800 told me I had rental for 24 hrs but I didn't feel like I wanted to keep it any longer and will use pick up truck for rest of move on Monday instead of stressing Sunday morning and then returning. This was not very good business and I hope to not have to go thru this again. I did think the woman Shantel who made my reservation was great and had good phone customer service.Caron A.
I got charged for too many miles. The original truck I was given had a flat tire. And I was charged for an appliance dolly that we gave back after the truck I was reassigned to had one in it. The rep at the location said I was good to use those and didn't need to worry about the appliance dolly anymore.ANDREW M.
I was over charge for the usage of the truck. I called and inform them of the mistake. They told me they would correct the error on saturday. Same day. On Monday i called and they told me yo call another number. So they never corrected there mistake. I had to call the 1800 and wait 25 minutes on hold. Will never use that uhaul center again.
