The associate was very friendly and knowledgeable. This location did not have a lot of trucks, but it had exactly the one that I needed. The truck did have a lot of miles on it, but it got the job done.

DENSYS TI have rented from several U-Haul spots throughout Pinellas county Florida. I usually go to whoever has the equipment I need. This was hands down the best experience I had. They were helpful, they were honest, and well I don't want to get into it much better than some others in this area. I am going to do my best to make this my regular pickup spot.

JESSICA LI had a scheduled pickup time for 10am and when arrived at the store, the store was closed with a note on the door that stated they would be back in an hour due to a Zoom meeting. I had Ubered to the store so I did not have to leave my vehicle and I was standing there in the 100° weather waiting. I called customer service who put me in contact with someone who ended up doing a self rental and she walked me through all the steps. Just as I was finishing up and about to pull out of the parking lot, the guy who worked at the store pulled in. I went in to get my dolley since it was it not originally in the truck and they were going to send me to another location to grab. When I walked in to ask for the dolled and I expressed my annoyance that I was standing out in the sun for 45 min to get a truck, the store employee didn't even apologize or offer a reason. He seemed very unbothered. On top of it, instead of helping me with the dolley, he let me take it put myself, open back of truck and lift it in the back without offering to assist. When I dropped the truck off, the same employee again didn't apologize and made the excuse that he had to go to the bank and could not call . I mean out of courtesy, an employee should have Called the day before or the morning of If they knew that they weren't going to be in the store until a later time. I find it rude and bad customer service. I do have to say the agent who helped me with the self rental on the phone was great and very pleasant and very apologetic which helped me not be so pissed in the moment.
BRANDY VSo convenient and easy . Glad I rented a dolly. I heard comments that there should be “straps” in the truck but luckily I did not need them . Also be sure to bring phone for light at night. Location directly across street from Costco gas station and with drop box for key return it could not be easier.
suzanne sRequested a four wheel dolly. They didn't have it at that location, even know I requested it. The guys personality was indifferent and very dismissive. The haul process was pretty simple.

Jose OYour app/online reservation is a joke! O reserved the truck to be picked up at 3pm. I didn't actually get the code to key lockbox until almost 7pm! The app kept telling me they couldn't verify my location, yet I was sitting in the parking lot where the truck was! After 3 1/2 hours I was finally able to talk to a live person who could help me! I had to leave the app and log in to UHaul.com, was then able to send my picture and my driver's license, but was still not able to get the code for the lockbox! The lady finally gave me the code over the phone! After almost 4 hours I was finally able to get the key to the truck! In the time it took to get the truck, I could have been done moving what I had to move! Your system is TERRIBLY FLAWED! I will never use your system again! If I Ever use UHaul again, it would Only be in person! I believe I should be reimbursed for the rental fees for all the hassle I had to go through Just to pickup the truck!
Bruce FDespite having locations settings turned on for both the app and the web version, the mobile check in process to pick up the truck before office hours kept failing. It would not accept scans of the location barcode or let me move through the process. It took so long that it incurred another additional charge at a secondary uhaul location in order to have equipment long enough to move my items. I had to return this truck by 11:30 so I had to cut my usage short because of the faulty mobile process and purchase more rental equipment to finish the job. I'm so upset that this cost me more money when it shouldn't have.

Eric M1) I had reserved a dolly on the phone with this location, along with the UHaul truck. When I arrived for the truck, the worker didn’t have the dolly out or make sure I picked up. I forgot the dolly and was big inconvenience. I realize I should have remembered as well, but it would have been good for the worker to see the reservation also had a Dolly included. And I PAID for the dolly, too, without even getting one. 2) lastly, the after-hours return was difficult and frustrating. It took me over a half hour to figure out and do. It would be better if like before you just leave the truck and put the key in box without having to watch an online video in a parking lot at night trying to do all of these steps. Possibly UHaul had a few trouble issues with returns before and so created this return application - but it’s very long and tedious. I will probably consider renting a truck from another company next time.

Jon SMy original reservation was canceled when I arrived at the Sunset Point locxation located at 23917 US HWY 19 N in CLEARWATER. I even called uhaul and asked what time do they close as I was running late at 6:15ish and was told when I arrived that it cancelled at 5:15pm with no phone call to me out of courtesy. I would think the store would call to ask if it was still needed, nope. Even when I arrived I was told not professionally it's been canceled and nothing else was done to accommodate me. With a blank stare not knowing what to do at that time at night I just went to my car and called I uhaul. Made another reservation that I had ti drive out of my way to to pick up 24/7 share uhaul. Even that was a mess because the app would not accept my photos and it timed out which I had to call again and be transferred after being on hold and now I am two hours into no uhaul. I also wants able to move anything into storage unit bc it only open from 7am -10pm which forced me into even more money to rent for a second evening. Also I was told there was code sent to me to get into the climate controlled facility and I could not nor was it ever sent after speaking to uhaul on many occasions asking how the heck am I supposed to get into the unit once I am packed to empty truck to get it returned. I even opened a customer action file and no manager ever called me as I call led in several times waiting to be told "my managers said he is currently business but has been emailed my info and will call back" . I feel the second night rental should be reversed all charges. Horrible communication and experience was inconvenience full circle .
