The tires on the Auto Transporter that I used were is bad shape. I ended up stopping for two flat tires. One tire was worn and cracked where the leak was coming from. The other tire had a bad stem valve and it eventually broke off. I sent in pictures where the Driver side fender had a broken weld. Equipment needs to be better tee maintained. Next time I will conduct an inspection as I am picking up the transporter.John M.

Best UHaul location I have ever used! I rented lots of trucks and trailers but this location made it so easy!! My son needed an oil change before the long drive and they quickly changed the oil and attached the trailer at the same time. Very courteous, helpful and professional. Thank you!!!Joni H.

I had hired a driver to take a craft product to Tn. So after the terrible ordeal of picking up the truck I decided I should call to make sure what I need to do to return the truck. I called the location and ask the protocol for the return and all he said was I needed to call the 800 number if I had questions on how to return. I explained I had been on hold for 45 mins the day before and still didn't get to speak to anyone. He responded with yes it's the same for us here if we have to call to call as well. This has been a terrible experience and I will not rent again.CURTIS C.

No-one was there, but drop off was easy. Got the receipt early the next day. We did leave it with 1/2 a tank of gas- it was at 1/4 when we picked it up in FL.. Gas is expensive these days. We know because we ran out 1/4 a tank in our own van trying to stay cool, waiting for the FL. clerk to show up, when we 1st got the truck!Harry S.

Was told the keys were under driver's seat, were not. Looked in all the trucks and found no keys. Looked everywhere and finally found keys in back of truck. That wouldn't have been a big deal but was told all paperwork would be in seat and keys under it. If I hadn't of spoken to this place on the phone about 8 hrs. earlier and was told specifically where to look, no big deal.Paul H.

After reserving for Johnson City TN online and checking in, I received a call the following morning that the equipment shown wasn't available. I called and spoke to a male in the Nashville office who reviewed the inventory and found it in Kingsport, he switched my reservation to them. Then the next morning at 9am I received a call that the equipment wasn't available there either! I called the dealer in Elizabethton directly. They had the equipment, I picked it up there. They were professional and friendly. I have rented from U-Haul for decades, at least a dozen times. The online reservation and check in process was an awful experience that caused me nearly 2 hours of wasted time and frustration. I will not use it again and will only reserve directly with a local dealer. As U-Haul has greatly expanded in recent years, the company needs to review its reservation infrastructure capabilities and accuracy.RONALD P.

I was supposed to pick up my U-Haul on the 22nd when I went in to confirm he said I could pick it up tonight before I no extra charge. That was a lie. He tried to put my destination for drop-off almost 60 miles from where I was moving to when there was a low U-Haul location right down the road. So not only did they charge me for an extra day but they charge me for the extra mileage. Very disappointed.Brenda G.
Upon arriving on moving day was advised there was a mechanical problem with truck intended for my reservation (in short).
