Customer service was horrible. The person I spoke to hung up on me before we finished our conversation, then when picking up the equipment it had a bald tire AND HE ACKNOWLEDGED THE ISSUE BUT SAID SOMEONE CAME OUT FROM UHAUL AND ADVISED NOT PUTTING ON A NEW TIRE!! So it went flat and I had to spend my time and be delayed having it replaced.Brian B.
Initially I had to wait 30 minutes before I was seen to collect the keys for my vehicle. The vehicle itself was is excellent condition so no issues there. My rental period was from just after 10am-4pm (Saturday, 6th Aug). But I was informed the location would be closed when I returned to which I was advised I could drop the keys in a dropbox and it would be checked in at my scheduled return time (4pm Sat). I dropped the vehicle off at 4:20pm (photograph as proof the same day). However, on Monday I saw that I had been charged for 3 rental periods (additional charges for Sun/Mon), over charge of over $80. I have called the location at least 4 times over the last two days with no one returning my call to correct this error.Tony W.
When we arrived to our moving location after picking up the truck, we opened the back and found a large trash bag full of items, a box of DVD's, and two rubbermaid containers that had been left behind by the previous renters. We were not asked to check the truck and were concerned about the belongings. We couldn't contact the location and called the 800 number. The person basically blamed us for not checking the truck and told us to throw out the items when I told her we couldn't return with the truck because we had already started loading it. It cost us about 30-40 minutes on the phone when we should have been working on loading the truck. Maybe in the future, customer service could apologize for the error with the location not cleaning out the truck, rather than saying it was our own fault for not checking. In the future, we will definitely check first.Paul D.

Reserved a trailer from Simi Valley where I live Saturday morning at 8 am and a few days before I was to pick up the trailer they said I had to drive to Oxnard to pick it up and would not be available until 1 pm. This added 2 hours of travel time in addition to a 5 hour delay picking it up. I had to reschedule friends to help me load. This also resulted in a late start for our trip from CA to Idaho. Staff at pick up and drop off location were very professional.Stephen H.

Blew out a tire on my way to Texas it was very old and that U-Haul location didn't explain how to use the equipment or where to call for such a issue that I had. That site in oxnard is a used car dealership n not a actual U-Haul office site.Rick P.

Friendly overall but the gentleman whom had assisted me was not very helpful. It seemed as though I was wasting his time. I got to my home (45 minutes away) and realized that the utility dolly I'd ordered wasn't in the truck. The rep was also dismissive when I asked for tips regarding attaching my car to the rented vehicle transportation trailer. Not a good experience. We were sent to a wrong location for drop off via your customer service representative. The girl at the gas station was of no help. I called uhaul again and received the correct address. When we arrived we were told to wait for the only person available to check us inâ€¦ they could not find him. That took about 20 minutes until he appeared. When he checked us in, he said we were late and would be charged for an extra day. I refused to accept that and he then changed my drop off time to reflect that we would have been on time if we did not experience the mass confusion on uhauls side. My overall experience was okay. It would have been excellent if I wasn't part of the cluster!!!Martha L.

Mixup on the reservation held me up. My vehicle was not available and I got a larger truck because of it. At the end of the ordeal it turns out my vehicle was available. The attitude of the employee was this is not my problem to solve, it is yours. Take it or leave it.Oscar T.

Location was hard to find. Pulled into a Mitsubishi service area because of lack of signage. Parked trailer by other U-Haul trailers and had to walk back to front to locate someone to check us in. Once we found someone he was very pleasant and efficient. Got a call from U-Haul the next day saying we still hadn't turned the trailer in and we owed for an extra day. I told them we turned it in and they asked where. When I told them where it said on the receipt we were supposed to turn it in they said they would contact that site. 15 Minutes later I got another receipt for $0.00 for the extra day that we didn't have it. The drop off site must not have entered in the system.Tom Y.
