Some confusion between U-Haul and the location. When checking in, the app told me to call a 833 number. The agent told me this business only provided keys in person. Unfortunately the hours listed for the store were wrong and it wasn’t open. On a whim I tried the app 30 mins later and surprisingly it went through the check in process successfully. However, at the end it told me to retrieve the keys from inside the business. I messaged an agent in the app and they were able to provide the code for the lock box. I lost 40 mins but it didn’t end up being an issue. In the end, the location was fine but the U-Haul system needs to have current/correct info for this business to avoid more bad experiences

The U-Haul app didn’t work on any of the devices we tried to pick up the vehicle with. Every time the log in got to the step to scan the back of the drivers license the app would crash. After trying for 20 minutes we called the location and someone said they’d come in person to help us which took another 20 minutes for the to arrive. That ate up the first 30 minutes of the rental so the person who came to help us said we could use it for an additional half hour. When we returned it he got mad and said used it the additional half hour he told us to use it.

Donald RThe truck still smells like a farm or dead animals. I didn't order blankets because last time they were soaking wet and reeked, and they were in the truck, but the dolly had been removed, so clearly someone has gone to check the van. This van needs to be deep-cleaned
