I didn't realize this was a touch less reservation. The market where we rented the staff was rude. We had to upload drivers licenses multiple times.Barry D.
This location is just a gas station. No one to answer questions. The phone pick up is NOT SEAMLESS and took well over 30 minutes to complete. And, rental time started at the pick up time, NOT when all of the nonsense was complete. So, we only had the van for 3 hours, not 4. You really should tell people to come 45 minutes BEFORE the scheduled pick up time. Do not recommend online pickup.Matthew H.

This location was very poor because despite selecting the â€œcounter serviceâ€ option for check out, the employees at this location were not prepared to provide counter service. They repeatedly tried to get us to use the mobile check in service (we did the sections we could but were unable to transition to mobile check in due to having originally selected counter service) and our entire pick up experience took over 40 minutes of our 4 hour rental. The vans were in fine condition, but if the location is unable or unwilling to provide counter service, counter service should not be an option. I would have selected a different location had I known this as I purposefully selected counter service as I have a strong preference for it. If you are happy to do mobile, this location will be fine (but help will be slow if you have any issues!!!)ELIJAH S.

The location did not provide the furniture pads and furniture dolly that I reserved and paid for. Those are important items for a move, and when you're using 24/7 pickup outside of the location's business hours, you should be able to rely on the location fulfilling the order as requested.James O.

The furniture pads we ordered (and paid for ). were not in the truck so we had to improvise with our own towels, blankets, etc. I will contact Uhaul for a refund on those. Other than that, this was a terrific experience! We picked up and dropped off via app only, and it was very smooth.Scott C.

The pick up procedure was messed up. When I tried to do it on line I received an error that said â€œno pictures are available for this vehicle. See location staff for assistance.â€ The location staff had no idea what I was talking about. I called the 800 number and was on hold for 25 minutes and finally gave up and just drove the vehicle off without completing the rental pick up procedure. Then when returning the vehicle uhaul tried to charge me for $12 in gas which I had not used.John W.
Twice now I have rented and paid for a dolly that I did not receive with my rental. The most recent time is understandable as I booked it about 30 minutes before I picked it up. But the first order I booked almost a week in advance and had to move an entire house without a dolly that I ultimately paid for. Also. Both times I have went to pick up my vehicle, I had issues with your website in the verification process. I had to restart my phone to be able to get the pictures of my ID and headshot submitted. The first time I had to restart my phone twice. My most recent rental I only had to restart my phone once. But I shouldn't have to do that. It did the same thing on my fiance's phone when we tried it as well. It has to be a bug in your mobile site. The vehicles have been perfect, though.CHRISTIAN P.
Location was very sketchy. No order to the madness there. Another couple ladies were picking up a uhaul van and their's wouldn't even turn over. Mine had an odd smell of smoke products. Couldn't get truck bed to open and ended up just taking it back so I could avoid being there too late at night and to get the experience behind me. The truck ran fine but barely had any gas in it. I ended up putting more in and was supposed to get reimbursed like $4 for that but didn't. You guys also took a crazy holding amount out, a whole $77, when I picked up the truck. That was NOT informed clearly anywhere in the process. Overall I felt like I was in a sketchy situation getting scalped by your company. Ended up using my own car for the job intended for the truck. Wish I could get my money back for the headache.CASEY C.

The wrong key was in the pick up box. The van was in subpar condition, it did the job but the window didn't roll up. The mobile pick up instructions were terrible and not related to the site so I had to ask other uhaul customers for help.Stephanie O.

This location is dirty. Overcrowded and the workers do not even tell you which truck is yours, just say figure it out for yourself. Plus you will be overcharged. Just look for extra charges. They charged me double what it should have been. And someone had left a dolly in the truck, I got charged for that as well. These people are so rude and this place looks like a druggy hangout place. Literally so dirty! These people are rude and don't care about anything but getting your card so they can overcharge you. BEWARE!!!!!! You've been warned! I enjoyed the ability to do everything on my phone. The only issue i had was the key FAB was too large to insert into the slot for the key return box, so I handed the keys to the employee behind the counter of the convenience store. Overall very smooth and easy! The vehicle was new, too, under 5,000 miles on it. Was a pleasure to drive it!Lucie S.

I have not rented a U haul for awhile, so I was not accustomed to the "U-Haul at a convenience store" experience. They were not very helpful, and clearly wanted me to just do everything through the app. I was not wild about uploading a pic of my driver's license, but I had to. The biggest problem, though, was the return. I was used to renting by the day, and I put in a 4pm return on the form just as an estimate, assuming I had it for the day. I mean when you're doing a move, it's hard to know just when you'll be done. So when I returned it at 4:30, they were very annoyed that I "was late," as they had another customer waiting for the truck. If there was some fine print that I missed that your said my stated return time is not an estimate but a deadline, then that's on me. In the future, though, I will be more careful about the policies. and would prefer to deal with an actual location, not a convenience store annex.GEORGE W.

They tried to charge me a deposit with a card. When I called customer service they were confused as to why as well. No dolly in the truck, which I would have used cause I ended up needing one. No pads, which I would have used cause I ended up needing one. Back was disgusting. I had to power washer the back and dry it manually before I could use it. Then they tried to charge me for fuel. Which mean the place probably said it was on full which it wasn't and I have proof. This was a horrible experience. I will not recommend this location to anyone and it will take a stellar experience next time to get me to think positively about uhaul againDANE M.

The truck was very dirty with lots of trash inside. The employee charged me for a dolly before even knowing he could supply me one due to the lock being frozen. The employee was refusing to help us with the lock to get the dolly. The employee was also not helping us while inside and instead was helping only the customers to the convenience store. The man didn't honor my Uhaul reservation. He did everything from scratch. I was charged for stuff I didn't have in my original reservation (like safemove or whatever it's called). I was charged over twice as much went I returned the truck! $90!!!! for a $30 reservation. To make matters worse, when I returned the truck and showed him a picture of the milage I took BEFORE driving, he accused me of trying to fraud him because he thought it was a picture of milage AFTER the move. Your app is horrible. I pre-registered and ended up having to re-enter my information multiple times. The Dolley I rented was chained up with a coded padlock. There was no information on combination so I did not get to use it. I'd appreciate a refund on the Dolley. When I returned the vehicle, I spent 20 minutes and multiple attempts to send in a photo of the ending mileage and fuel level. The app would not accept any of the multiple photos I took. Never completed the checkout. The key would not fit in dropbox so I had to give the key to the person working the counter in the carryout! U-Haul has lost me as a customer. Never again.Frank C.

Do not pick up from this location. Weird, run down spot. People in the parking lot yelling and harassing us. No one in the store wore a mask, including the guys behind the counter. They charged me for 2 dollies I didn't rent. I called and they said go into the store to get refunded, the store said call them to get refunded. We just left since I didn't want to get Covid or murdered. I'd never pick up here again.John M.

OMG, this was the worst experience renting a U-Haul ever. Had to load my own dolly and mats. I am a disabled veteran and lifting even these mats was a struggle, but the guy refused to help, took me 12 trips from his liquor store (where this U-Haul is located) to the truck just to get all the mats in it. I was only meant to rent and drive, and normally all the equipment you rent is already in the vehicle. This dude is rude, and even told me he doesn't even want the U-Haul company in his business. UHAUL on Line Check out is a MAJOR FAIL!!! COULD NOT pick up my vehicle that way. AFTER an hour trying, the man from the store came out and then checked me out inside the store. Using the website to rent and gain approval for the uhaul took way too long. The approval took 30 minutes and I had movers to help me who had to wait for me to get the van.
