Tonya RSet up schedule for truck return to the Village Market. Upon arrival, Manager was out to lunch and employees were not informed of any rental returns. Waited 15 minutes for manager to return from lunch. She was aware that a truck return was transpiring at the given time and she quickly handled the closeout transaction. Smooth transaction once manager returned. Village Market staff were friendly and courteous.

The truck was filthy on the inside, but there’s no one there to clean vehicles, so I’m not sure how that’s remedied. I wasn’t given enough mileage for what I requested the truck for, so when I returned it, I was charged an extra $130. I’m not impressed

Martha RTrain the older gentleman so he knows how to hook up the trailer. He didn’t lock the coupler to the ball on my hitch. Fortunately I stopped a mile down the road to check how he hooked it up because I’ve had this issue before with UHaul. The trailer was literally just resting on my hitch, not connected.

DONALD WCustomer service rep seemed out out by my asking to pick up uhaul. Said she was taking a test and needed to finish so she said i would need to wait. Also she helped store staff while checking out my rental again causing me to wait while she did other store tasks. Rep said there were no units to rent even though I have a reservation and the fact that I saw the trailer in the packing lot. Also trailer was full of fallen leaves and dirty. Overall an unpleasant experience.

RAJNI JWhile this specific location handled things well. I only had to go here because u-haul screwed up my reservation that I had made two days prior… I was screwed out of my 26’ truck and THEN still had that money charged and taken out of my account! I will never use u-haul AGAIN!

David LI would only recommend this location if it is convenient to the renter. I got there before closing on a Sunday. No U-Haul employee was manning the desk. A grocery store clerk checked me in and one of the store employees helped me disconnect the trailer from my car. They didn’t check me in on the computer, but just wrote a note to the U-Haul clerk, who wasn’t there. They did the best they could to help me check it in. Checkin has been verified, so I’m happy!

Teasia GMy experience was horrible! I made a reservation to pick up a 20' truck in Niles, MI to do a one way trip to Kokomo, IN. When I checked my email for the reservation, it was completely wrong! I called to get it straightened out and was told there were no 20' trucks available and they would call me to reserve one close to Niles. I got a call back to pick a truck up in Dowagiac, MI. When I arrived, there were NO trucks at all and the place was absolutely disgusting! I then had to travel to Decature, MI where I FINALLY got a truck. I will not use UHaul again and will not recommend UHaul to anyone ever!
Jaci AThe fuel level was 1/4 tank when I picked up the vehicle. I had to leave it with 1/2 a tank... Also, when I went to pick up the truck, the lady at the counter said it was in the computer that I was bringing it back and almost didn't allow me to take it. When I returned, entered the mileage, it tried to charge me for over 300 miles! I only drove it 32. Whoever had the truck before me didn't get the return completed properly and it cost me over an hour between the pick up and return to get it squared away. Other than that, I really like using UHAUL.
DAWN SFigure out why I was over charged 100.00 was charged 254.00 when my total was 154.00 and have yet to receive the 100.00 difference

matthew sI rented online for a location much closer to me but minutes before going there I was contacted and told they didn't have the equipment and I would need to go somewhere else. Since I was stranded this was a big issue for me and the person on the phone didn't really care nor provide any assistance other than to say "it's not our policy". If there would have been another option with a different company I would not have done business with UHaul.
Kim AI am a veteran. No veteran discount was offered. I did recieve a veterans discount in Houston on my previous rental.
David SI was double billed for a one-day rental. Also the employee who checked me in had trouble finding the ipad to do the check-in and then the ipad seemed to be working exceptionally slow for her.

Markallen VThe person who helped check me out the first time was extremely rude and impatient. He didn’t help us hook up the trailer or make sure that it was done properly. The women who helped me when I returned it tried to charge me again. She never went out and checked the trailer either.
Makenzie EMake sure things work. Lift door malfunctioned and the wait time was ridiculous. 90 minutes to 2 hrs
