When we got to Vince's Saturday afternoon (they were closed), the cargo door (to where the key was waiting for me) was frozen shut. Fortunately, my wife had a small fingernail file that we used to chip away the ice so we could open the door. Once the door was opened, we discovered that instead of the two furniture dollies that I had ordered, we had two appliance dollies. Those were not much help in moving the piano we had to move. Since we still needed to move the piano, I had to find a store that sold furniture dollies. Luckily there was a Tractor Supply store in Madison that had them. Not so lucky, that after paying the rental fee for the two furniture dollies, I had to pay $70.00 to buy two of them (making it about $100 extra out of pocket). I had even called the day before to make sure they knew what I needed for the rental. I had originally reserved with a different location in Madison (which by the way, had several trucks when we drove by there) but when the confirmation was sent, the pickup location had been changed but no reason was given. Needless to say, I was not overly pleased with my experience with this rental.

CHRISTOPHER PTHE UHAUL INTERNET SITE IS VERY GLITCHY, AND WE HAD TO LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT TO GET THE UHAUL SITE TO LOAD ON MY PHONE. JUST A HORRIBLE AREA FOR INTERNET SERVICE. THE ESTABLISHMENT WAS FINE.

Naomi DNot that the people weren't helpful, your website doesn't allow for "Not applicable" as we didn't talk to anyone, contactless drop off location. Didn't report trailer return until a week later to uhaul, received multiple calls and emails about missing equipment that I had photo evidence and witnesses of returning a day earlier than needed much less late or not at all. It was remedied but a needless worry that should not have happened at all.
Shane GGreat except the uhaul mobile check-in was too hard. The drop box was not clear and I couldnt open it the first time so I had to ask a mechanic the next day

EUDELIO PNo/poor internet for the lengthy check in process. Log in, photo of head, photo of drivers license front and back. Had charges on the card I didn’t want…2 different Dollie’s (I did want one but it wasn’t in the truck) 50 moving pads etc. only worked on Safari, not Chrome. It literally took almost 2 hours to get the code to get the key. Over all terrible experience. The customer service lady did great, but I won’t use U-Haul again.

Terry HMy reservation was changed from one location to another then to Vince’s because people were closing early for the new year holiday. The girl that helped me was more than pleasant. the truck I would have been nervous taking it on the highway it floated all over the road and I drove trucks for a living. Ended up getting charged for insurance I didn’t need and told her I didn’t need because your software was acting up she said. Overall my worst Uhaul experience.
Mark SOnly issue was going to five different locations to find boxes. Beyond this issue in NE Ohio(the region is clinging by a thread) once to the people everything was fine. Not sure what the solution should be. Please avoid vertical integration.
